This doesn't have anything to do with the story but I've really into 90s hip-hop and rap lately. Do you guys like that kind of stuff?

Also, things are going to get interesting soon, I promise.

It was around seven forty-five when the band had finished recording, having decided that we needed an early finish, and an early night's sleep after how long we had worked last night. And I couldn't have agreed more.

Except for the fact that I couldn't go home and go to sleep, since I was supposed to go to dinner with Damon at the new place that had just opened. Almost twenty four hours had passed and I already forgot the name of the place, but at least I remembered where it was, which was fantastic for me with all the song lyrics and guitar solos I had loaded in my mind.

Saying my quick goodbyes to the band, and even hugging Liam when he asked; (he was a little tipsy, having drank all day during recording, but no surprise there), I walked out the doors of the building and waited for no one to see where I was going. I stepped in my car and quickly drove off, trying my best to remember the exact turns to take to actually get to the place.

Annoyed with the silence in my car, I turned on the the radio as I came to a stoplight. Ironically, Blur was playing and I instantly changed it, knowing that even if I became friends with the lead singer, I most likely wouldn't be involved with their stuff. I'm sure it would be the same way with Damon and Oasis, but who knew for sure?

I twirled my hair around my finger and sighed to myself while changing the radio with my other hand, finally settling on 'This Charming Man' by The Smiths, a band that I had basically grown up listening to.

The words and catchy guitar riff filled the car, yet another riff getting placed in my brain. My eyes flickered to the light as it turned green, and I drove forward, taking what was the final left turn and approaching the café on the right.

The Coffee House. That was what it was called. Stupid name, but I was just glad it wasn't too fancy, since I was just wearing jeans and over-sized jumper having come from work. I took one last look at the place as I parked the car and getting out, ran a hand through my hair as I shut the door and began my short walk through the doors of the building.

As I stepped inside I felt the instant warmth, a big improvement from the weather outside, and took a look around me, spotting a familiar head of blonde hair sitting all alone at a table for two, to my far left. I smiled a bit to myself and strolled over there, his eyes meeting mine once I was only a couple steps away.

"Hi," I spoke, sitting down in the chair across from him.

"Hey," He grinned as we began to get lost in conversation.

"So, you're telling me Liam got hit in the head with a hammer; the third day of primary school?"

Damon was the one asking the question, since it was already close to eleven and we had been here for almost a good three hours, talking about music, movies, childhood, and now, Liam getting whacked with a hammer.

"Explains a lot, doesn't it?" I joked and grinned, taking a sip of my second coffee that I was almost done with, feeling pretty alert from the amount of caffeine I'd taken in.

"Are you kidding?" The man responded. "It puts the entire past two or three years in perspective. No wonder he's so insane." He laughed and I couldn't help but laugh with him.

"It's what makes him a good singer," I stated and Damon raised an eyebrow, obviously confused by this entire piece of Gallagher history.

"What?"

"I don't know, says the incident makes him hear music all the time or some shit like that," I explained, but the blonde-haired man's expression remained.

"So he's insane?" He repeated.

"I guess so," I sighed and we fell into silence, having spoken about anything and everything. My mouth had actually become a bit dry and I licked my lips, getting ready to ask another thing.

"What time does this place close?"

"Midnight," Damon answered instantly with confidence and I smirked at him.

"Look who memorized the times of the place," I joked, trying my best to sound impressed while he rolled his eyes.

"I did not," He mumbled. "Only for tonight."

"Mm," I mused and took the final sip of my coffee, pushing my chair out and walking to the trash can behind me, throwing the cup out. I turned around and met eyes with Damon as I thought about going home and falling asleep.

"Well," I had walked back over to the table, but didn't sit down. "As much as I would like to stay another hour and talk some more, I think I'm actually going to value my brain tonight and get some sleep before recording tomorrow."

"Right," The man remembered and stood up with me, grabbing his jacket that was leaning on his chair. "That's one thing I surely don't miss about recording."

"But you'll have to tour soon, right?"

"Have to release the album first, love," He chuckled and we walked out the doors together.

"This is why I need sleep," I commented on my question.

I paused while we stepped outside, the air having gotten even colder from when I first entered the building. I absolutely hated Manchester weather sometimes.

"What's your album going to be called, anyways?" Damon picked the conversation back up, but he did it with something I didn't want to discuss.

We began walking to our cars, which I assumed were parked in the same place since we were going in the same direction when I answered.

"I'm not telling you anything," I smiled slyly and Damon rolled his eyes playfully.

"Oh, come off it," He said. "I'm not some sort of detective or spy for Blur if that's what you're thinking."

"That's exactly what I'm thinking," I replied and he laughed. "I'm not even really supposed to be out with you, so why would I tell you something that could get me in even more trouble?"

"I just wanna find out more about the band," Damon threw his hands up to signal his 'surrender'. "And if I'm a spy, I better be James Bond."

I grinned and shook my head. "If you wanna find out more about Oasis, why don't you come to our gig next week?"

The last sentence had really slipped out before I had the chance to think about it. Oasis hadn't had really any time to think about it, or rehearse for it, for that matter but I had realized that it would be a good way to become better friends with the lead singer, no matter how much we could possibly mess up. As long as he wasn't seen by any of my other band mates. And I made that clear.

"But only if you stay out of the public eye,"

"Got it," He replied instantly, and I could tell he wanted to be there. "When and where?"

"Friday of next week. Around eight," I spoke. "On the boardwalk."

"Why the boardwalk? You guys are a pretty relative band," He responded to the place.

"It's where we got our start!" I answered like he should have known that.

"See, now I'm learning more and more about you," He pointed out.

"Perfect," I snickered before Damon turned on his heel to head out, as we had reached my car not too long ago.

"So, I'll see you then, yeah?" The man inquired.

"Yeah," I confirmed as he began walking in the direction we came from. "Where are you going?!" I called as he got further and further away from me.

"To my car!" He turned back and stared at me like I was crazy.

It wasn't until a couple seconds after, when I had gotten into my car and turned the heat on, that I had realized he had walked all the way here, just to spend more time with me.

I giggled to myself while driving off, excited for next Friday night, and praying that I wouldn't make a fool of myself.

A/n: I loved writing that. Updates are going to be weekly from now on, hope you understand with school and all that. Thanks for reading. -Liz :)
