Rudy POV
I was on the call with my mom and she had questioned me about Scarlett and the marriage,
"I know mom. I think she's having a hard time with this arrange marriage thing and he's the one she loves." I started looking disappointed. But of course, I ended with a goodbye.
I didn't hope for her to love Chase cause I did but she woke up.
After a while, she pressed her pink soft lips onto mine and I felt my heart explode with joy.
Chase and I am friends for now.." she stated with her awkward smile and I just giggled,
"Ok, princess. I bet you're hungry? I'll make eggs on toast." I said with a light smile and she did the same.
I just hope she didn't lie and she loved me back.
And so I just cooked for her and we had a fun time eating our lovely food and decided to make plans for later.
