Just saying, y'all, this is a flashback chapter to Queenie & Jacob's wedding.
(It's like 5 months before Newt's proposal.)

Sunlight spilled into the room.
Tina's eyes fluttered open.
Then, two feelings flooded her body.
Sadness & excitement.
Her sister was getting married that afternoon!!
"Wake up," Tina nudged Newt, who was asleep beside her.
"5 more minutes..." She heard him mumble.
"Love," she chided. "We have to get ready."
Newt rolled over to face Tina.
"Hello, darling," he whispered, their faces so close to each other.
Tina blushed deeply & averted her eyes. While she was doing so, Newt took the distraction as a way to fall back asleep.
"Newt," Tina laughed quietly.
"Alright, alright. I'm getting up," Newt slowly sat up in bed.
"What time is it?" Tina sat up next to him.
Newt looked at his clock on the wall.
"It's only 8:30. We can go back to sleep now," Newt tried to lie down, but Tina held him up.
"Your mother clearly stated that breakfast is at nine. So, no, we cannot go back to sleep."
"Okay," Newt kissed her deeply.
Tina melted into the kiss.
A few minutes of kissing later, Tina pulled away.
"Love, is this your way of staying in bed?" She smiled.
"Maybe," Newt looked sheepish.
"We have to get changed."
"But I'd much rather do this," Newt took Tina's face in one hand & held it close to his, their lips grazing.
Tina almost gave in.
"Let's go," she rolled out of bed.
"Fine," Newt sighed. "But you owe me a kiss."

"Morning, Tina!" Joanne smiled, covered in feathers.
"Uh, Joanne, you have a little something..."
"Oh no, where?"
Tina gestured to all of her.
"You just motioned to me. In general."
"Mother, you're covered in Hippogriff feathers," Newt entered the small dining room.
Joanne looked down.
"Oh! Yes, now I see it. Lightwing is shedding right now & I guess it got all over me."
"Hello, you lot," Theseus & Leta came in.
Tina smiled at them & sat down to enjoy her crumpets.
Everyone was only halfway through breakfast when there was a loud knock at the door.
Newt furrowed his eyebrows at Tina & got up to get the door.
Everyone was staring at each other in confusion.
Suddenly, a hysterical voice screamed.
"HELP ME, NEWT, I NEED HELP!"
Everyone looked horrified except for Tina.
"I know who it is," Tina giggled.
"NEWT, LET ME SEE MY SISTER!"
There was a bit of a scuffing noise.
The door slammed shut & Newt walked back into the dining room with a kicking & screaming Queenie over his shoulder.
"NEWT. LET. GO. OF. ME."
Newt set her down.
Queenie was pink-faced & looked incredibly ruffled up.
"Queenie! What's wrong?" Tina stood up.
Queenie promptly burst into tears.
"I'm getting married!!" She sobbed.
As soon as she said this, Tina started crying too & they melted to the ground, hugging each other.
"You are! I'm so proud!"
Newt smiled at the two sisters & led everyone out to leave them alone.
"I can't believe it!"
"Ma & Pa would be so happy for you," Tina stroked her hair.
"Do you think so? Even if he's a No-Maj?"
"I'm sure."
They continued to cry for a few minutes before getting up.
"Let's get ready, okay?"
Queenie nodded.

"That dress is so beautiful!" Leta gushed as Queenie twirled in front of the mirror.
"It really is," Queenie smiled.
It was a white off-the-shoulder gown with pink flowers trailing down & white ribbons around the waist.
Queenie checked her makeup & hair for the 100th time.
Her hair was in soft curls & her makeup was sweet.
"Here, put this on," Leta carefully handed Queenie the veil.
The thin white veil was layered & had pink rose petals on it.
As Queenie set the veil on her pretty locks, Tina shifted uncomfortably in her bridesmaid dress.
It was a pale pink dress with open shoulders & a lace bodice.
It was very pretty, but a bit scratchy.
'Leta looks so much better in the dress.' Tina thought begrudgingly.
"Oh, don't be silly, Teen. You look lovely," Queenie beamed.
The blonde turned around.
"I'm ready!"
"No you're not," Tina picked up the white & pink rose bouquet.
"Here," she passed it to Queenie. "Now you're ready."

The music started up.
Tina smiled at Queenie, with tears in her eyes, as she made her way down the aisle.
A wave of sadness flooded her body.
She was going to lose her sister. She was going to be left all alone.
She turned saw Newt standing behind Jacob.
As if he knew what she was thinking, he mouthed 'you're not losing her.'
Tina smiled.
Queenie stopped at the altar & gave her sister a cheeky smile.
The officiator started the ceremony.
Tina felt her eyes fill up with tears as she watched her Queenie & Jacob exchange their vows, staring at each other with love.
"I pronounce you husband & wife. You may kiss the bride."
The couple shared an electrifying kiss.
Tina smiled fondly at the scene.
Their parents really would be proud of her.
But Tina was prouder.

When they got to the venue, Tina gasped in awe.
It was beautiful.
The whole place was white with light pink silk draping the walls.
Fairies were fluttering everywhere & there were flowers on every table, tied together with pearls.
"Didn't Jacob do all the decorating?" Newt turned to Tina.
"Yes. He wanted to surprise her with something she would like. And it looks like she likes it."
Newt & Tina watched as Jacob unblindfold his bride.
Queenie gasped & tears spilled from her eyes.
"I love it! Thank you so much."
The couple kissed again.
It was time to toss the bouquet.
Tina was pushed along with all the other unmarried women.
She looked over at Newt who smirked handsomely.
Queenie threw the bouquet into the air.
The women went crazy, falling over the place, while Tina stood there awkwardly.
Suddenly, she spotted the pink & white bouquet come her way.
It landed perfectly in Tina's arms.
"Huh, that's nice..." Tina blushed.
She walked back over to Newt, who was blushing equally.
It was time for Queenie & Jacob cut the cake.
It had multiple white tiers & had pink fondant roses on it.
Seeing as it was Jacob's wedding, Alexa made the cake but was unable to come.
They had the first slice.
Jacob's face looked pleasantly surprised.
As everyone else went to get cake, they made their way over to Newt & Tina who were beaming.
"Congratulations!"
Queenie went to hug her sister.
"Thank you," Jacob shook Newt's hand, enthusiastically.
"I'm so happy for you. I know I won't be alone," Tina mumbled over Queenie's shoulder.
And it was true. She would always have Newt.
