Today is their trial. I decided to watch it. I saw Ayano and Ayato come with with Taro and Taeko as I held back a growl.
"Mr Saikou, Mr Shidesu, Mr Yamada, Mr Rito, Mr Ruto, Mr Odayaka, Mr Najimi, Mr Sunobu. You eight have been charged with 20 accounts of murder. How do you plead innocent?" "All the people murdered are people we care about! We'd give our lives to them if we needed to!" Osorō yelled, slamming his hand on the podium. Osano put his hand on his shoulder and stared down. "We know who the real killers are anyways." "And how do you know that?" "Some way you wouldn't understand," Kizano said and the judge as well as prosecutor seemed angry. "How's that?" "They could jump time. All for their own happy ending..." He muttered and the prosecutor laughed. "How could they jump time? It's impossible." He said and I just smirked.
Kizano's POV
"Not unless someone gave them the power." A voice said and we looked around, confused. "A... demon..?" Oko asked and the judge turned to him. "If you can summon a spirit to do a testimony, then you may speak." "But... I need an Occult Room..." "Good excuse to try to get out of this. Spirits aren't even real." "Actually-"
"You dare say spirits aren't real?" A voice questioned as we saw the demon empress sitting on the podium. "Who are you?" "You will stay silent unless you are spoken to." She growled, glaring at the prosecutor. He seemed stiff for a minute as the other high demons appeared. "My oh my empress, you just can't control yourself." "Since I've been a mortal, I wasn't able to do this, I'm just having some fun." She said, smirking then looked down at herself. "I suppose this form isn't appropriate currently." She muttered and smoke surrounded her.
"There, much better." She said and the smoke disappeared. We all stared surprised as we saw (Y/n) with a stab wound in her back located at her heart and when she looked back at us, a slash across her neck with dried blood at both wounds. "I am one of the twenty victims. While I want a good show, these eight aren't the killers." She said and picked at her nails. "And the other 19 souls can say the same thing." She said and had them show themselves with a transparent bodies. "Then who is-" "Spider, can you warn the judge?" Spider Demon nodded happily and placed a giant tarantula on the stand. The judge jumped and (Y/n) giggled. "Do me a favor and keep that look of fear, I love it." She said then looked at the spirits. "Don't say who the real killer is. Just say your emotions to your brothers and friends at the defendant stand." They looked back at us surprised then growled to the judge except for Akane, Amai and Oka.
"You're silly and brain dead if you think they actually killed family and friends." Akane said and we noticed what looked to be a mask chip. When this "mask" fell off, there was a glare present on her face. All of us except for Megamo, Megami, (Y/n) and the student council seemed surprised. "Keep in mind they do still have their own emotions." She looked around and soon glared into the crowd. We looked the way she was looking and saw Ayano and Ayato. We glared too as we saw them smirk and hold onto Taro and Taeko's arms. We saw regret plastered on their face as (Y/n) calmed herself. "Judge, I'll give you a quick deal. You can't say no by the way." She said and the judge looked at her, surprised and nodded. "Good, everyone's lives will depend on your decision. If you chose the wrong killers, I'll kill everyone but these eight and the killers right in front of you and let the demons take their souls all because you couldn't chose right. Chose the right ones and no one except for them dies." She said and gave a friendly smile while the judge seemed surprised.
"Hey Flame, I'm not the only one who thinks there's a lack of fire here, right?" He shook his head and seemed ready to light this place on fire. "No. Alright then, we're changing the setting." She said and snapped her fingers. Smoke surrounded the room while it suddenly felt hotter. When the smoke cleared, there was blue, white and red flames around us. (Y/n) was no longer sitting on the podium and instead, sitting on a throne. The other demons were sitting on thrones a bit lower then her own. She was smirking as Succubus whispered to her. She nodded.
"I'm leaving you in charge real quick Succubus." She nodded as (Y/n) left.
Reader POV
When I got to my old room, I saw Sen hiding under my bed. She seemed terrified until I spoke. "Its me Sen. Ayano and Ayato are at court." She mewled and crawled out from under my bed. She looked too skinny and had rubbed against my hand. "Lets get you food..." I said and she mewled again and followed me to the kitchen. I saw her bowl empty and I growled while getting fish. I cut it up into bite size pieces for her and got her a bowl of milk too. When I placed it down, Sen rubbed against my hand then ate.
I smiled softly and when she finished eating, she mewled again and rubbed herself against me. "Alright Sen, why don't we make you what you really are?" She seemed confused and just rubbed her hand against me. I looked at her soul and smirked as I saw it was a tiger soul and transformed her into it. "Alright, lets go." She growled in response until I placed a hand on her head. She seemed surprised then leaned into it. I teleported us back to the "courtroom" and smirked from everyone's surprise that a tiger is here. "Alright, anything interesting happen?" "Not at all. Its getting boring."
I nodded, bored and spoke. "Alright then, I said I wanted a show and I'm not getting it so..." I stared into the crowd where mom, dad, Ayano and Ayato are at and smirked. "If the killers don't speak now, I will make your life a living hell. I can make sure its possible, after all, there's already a demon making sure of that to a cop who accidentally entered the demon realm. We don't like unwanted visitors." I said amused as Sen had prowled her way to the eight boys. She tackled Hanakõ and had begun to lick his face. Everyone was confused except for the demons who gathered around. "You've brought food?" "I brought what will hopefully be a show." I said and they nodded while getting their own seats and forms.
"Who even are you?" "The demon empress. First demon to live." I said and Succubus tapped my shoulder. "The angels are coming..." She growled and I growled back, "Is he coming?" "He claims you've caused too much chaos and must be stopped." "I'm going to kill him again." I growled and we were back in courtroom with a bright flash.
"You need to stop doing that ###!" I rolled me eyes. "I'll stop when someone convinces me to." I said to my enemy, (e/n). (Was planning to use Jesus but went nah, lets make it the readers enemy's name). "Well its not right!" "Yelling at me isn't going to help." "You wouldn't be like this if I hadn't given you a reason to kill me." "No, I know you and your little group had been planning to kill me for a while. I just decided to get revenge ahead of time." I said and picked at my nails and I saw the other six that I had killed earlier.
"Besides, I'm getting my revenge for getting murdered. You did the same, killing me and my friends." I said to him and he looked down, saddened. "I didn't do that. It was my remaining friends who wanted revenge on you. You tried to burn us all alive and yet, only five got out alive..." "Your point? You all deserve it. Its why I started to drain your friend's soul power once I got them." I said and he spoke sadly. "We never made a plan to go against you-" "Then explain why Diana and I heard your group say, 'Lets kill ### and her group'." "They never said that!" "Yes they did! I never heard anything wrong and each time I walked past anyone in your group, they glared at me while putting their thumb across their throat and slitting it, as if that's how they planned to kill me!" "They did that?" "Stop acting like you don't know! You know I'll end up killing every person in this room!" "You only care about nine souls in here. I don't see why it's a problem." "I came for a show. Killing everyone in this room isn't fun."
He sighed and came up to me. I glared at him as the other demons stared at this, confused. He kissed me and my eyes widened in anger. Quickly, I pushed him off me then threw him to the ceiling. He stopped himself before he could make impact and the other high angels went up to him worried and sighed as they looked back down at me. Succubus wiped my lips as the other three glared.
"I came for a show. If you want, stay and watch." I glared at him while getting our thrones and sitting on them behind the eight boys. (E/n) sighed and sat down on his own throne with the other six following on their own thrones behind the judge. "Now, as I was saying when I first showed myself to you imbeciles, I gave someone the power to go through time and he gave it to two others. My two killers." I said and brought the room to darkness again but it wasn't hell.
"This is what happened. Of course, I'm not showing the killer's faces." I said and showed each reset with Ayano and Ayato's faces blurred out. When it was done, the prosecutor spoke, "Why'd they kill?" "Why? Are you questioning why they killed 20 people or just a single person?" "All." "Well, 9 souls, their sisters plus the nurse had a crush on a boy they liked. The student council and delinquents were killed because they were in their way and I was killed because I had gotten in their way each time somehow and stopped them from getting their happy ending that they currently have." I said and (e/n) got us back to the courtroom. I growled to him as he just stared back at me. "You aren't the only most powerful spirit here." He said and I mimicked what he said sarcastically.
"Whatever. Defense, when these eight were in the cell, I gave you pieces of evidence that gives hints to the murderer. What did you get?" He seemed shocked but then gathered himself. "Just fingerprints of Ayano and Ayato Aishi on cleaning supplies and the doors of the incinerator." "Alright-" "Stop! I killed them, alright!" A voice said and we all looked at where it came from to see Taro and Taeko standing as Ayano and Ayato held their arms in surprise. Hanakō seemed ready to object that but I silenced him. "Look at the fear on their faces." I said to them and they noticed it while staying silent. The judge called the two Yamada's down and had told the boys to simply stand to the side. I gave them their own seats back here that wasn't higher then the other demon's and they sat down after making sure it was okay.
"Explain why you two had killed and for who." "As you said... because you were all in my way... as for who... we were angry at them." "How'd you kill the student council and delinquents?" "We... challenged them then as I was being beaten, Taro came in and helped me." Taeko said and I smirked as I quickly looked ahead of time. "Three, two, one-" "Alright, stop..." A voice said after I finished counting down. Ayano and Ayato were now standing up and walked down but I brought them down while putting Taro and Taeko back in their seats.
"Well then, go on." "You stopped Senpai from loving us so we killed you because of that... like you and Senpai said... the other 19 were in the way so we disposed of them." Ayano said while keeping her gaze from Taro. Ayato was the same with Taeko and I spoke, "Continue." I said amused and the two glared back for a second. "We killed the student council by sneaking up on them then Megami by me distracting her and Ayano killing her from behind while Megamo was being distracted by you. We killed the delinquents by making them drop their weapons then kill them one by one. Osoro was more difficult then Megami due to her strength and quick reactions until we stabbed her leg and then murdered her." I brought out all the souls as they floated by me and I waved my hand.
"What about my body, what did you do with it? I didn't show that time jump yet or how I was killed so if you can say it then I suppose it shows the murderer. I hope everyone pays close attention." I said happily and they continued. "The way we killed you... Ayano was in front of you as you were happy to see us. When Ayano pulled out a knife, you backed up onto my blade and asked why we were carrying knives then said that we shouldn't carry dangerous equipment like it around... my knife was a weapon Osorō used to blame him for murder as Ayano's was one Amao used to cook..." "And my body?" "We put it in the Occult Room to frame Oko since we didn't have his fingerprints on a weapon to kill..." I brought everyone back to the black abyss as I replayed the resets except I hadn't blurred out the faces. It got to where I was questioning them and I stopped it as (e/n) brought everyone back.
"We've found our killers. Anything to say, mom and dad?" I asked, turning to them and they just stared down. Dad had sadness plastered all over his face while mom had no emotion but anger sparked in her eyes. "Ayato is the first male yandere in the Aishi family line and I'm the first... non-yandere female." I said and got back to my normal demon form. "Ryoba Aishi, a killer for our father, (d/n). Same with every other female in the family line but I guess the time limit to question them is over. It's been over 15 years so I guess she's free." I said and smirked.
I started singing something while going in front of Ayano and Ayato while they glared at me the whole time.
I smirked afterwards and soon beckoned my hand. "Well then, I'll give the first two demons or just the first demon who get their souls to take them." I said and backed up as I noticed every demon with a bloodthirsty face. When I beckoned my hand again, the demons went straight to work. "And also. Don't even wait to reset, I took the power back from Info." I said and sat back while watching the two get torn apart. The angels all had seemed shocked and tried to stop the demons but it was too late. "And it seems we have our winner. Do whatever you want with their bodies." I said and left the court. "Aw damn, I didn't let the judge say who's the killer..." I muttered when we left as I had told the other demons to go back to hell while having the other high demons do whatever they wanted. Flame Demon went to be in charge with Hand Demon and Spider Demon following as I put Sen back in her known form. She mewed to me and rubbed her head against my hand.
"That was Sen?" Hanakō asked, surprised and I nodded. "Her first soul was a tiger so I put her back like that to fuck with everyone." I said and let the 18 souls back out while going to find Mujo and having the boys watch Sen.
