I'm back~

~~~~
  It was a great day, or rather would have been great. Mara had the whole thing planned out; they’d hang out at the mall, go see a movie and play some games at the arcade. After that they’d grab something to eat at the food court and just hang out. It was a perfect plan but things just kept going wrong.
  They began with the movie Mara and Karen followed the two at a safe distance and were sitting a few rows behind them. They went to see a horror movie with the plan that Haven and Hunter would get cuddly like all couples do in a movie theatre with a horror movie playing. However that’s not what happened.
  During the first jump scare a cup of soda went flying at the screen splashing everyone in front of Hunter with soda as the top popped off midflight. Karen burst into laughter but everyone else was not pleased and they were tossed out. Mara was so angry but let it pass there was still the whole day ahead of them to rekindle some kind of romance. It wasn’t any better at the arcade, Hunter and Haven tried to play a few games when they passed a shooting game and Haven nearly had a freak out. They were tossed out of there as well.
  “Oh my god, can this day get any worse?” Mara mumbled as they followed Hunter and Haven to the food court. Karen rolled her eyes and took a sip of her tea or whatever weird drink she ordered.
  “I don’t see how this helps their relationship at all.” Karen pointed out watching as Hunter and Haven walked in complete silence. They’d said very little to each other the entire day, this irked Mara but it was nothing new. They hardly said anything when they were alone together, it was expected, but it still annoyed Mara.
  “It wasn’t supposed to go like this.” Mara argued gesturing in mild annoyance and nothing in particular. “It was supposed to be a romantic but relaxed date. How was I supposed to know these two would be jittery?”
  “We’ve been on the run from hunters for a year; of course they’d be on edge.” Karen said with another roll of her eyes. Mara frowned and crossed her arms.
  “This isn’t fair.” She complained as they got to the food court where basically the whole day was summed up into a horrible event. Hunter and Haven actually started talking, Mara isn’t sure what they were talking about they were too far away not to mention there were too many people around to hear anything she was trying to focus on.
  But this wasn’t the bad thing, the bad thing happened when a tall mousy brown haired woman bumped into Haven spilling her tray on him. Mara half expected someone to freak out, but that’s not what happened. The girl instantly started spewing apologizes and trying to use the few napkins to get the soy sauce out of Haven’s jacket. Hunter looked annoyed while Haven laughed and said something to the girl and Hunter before walking off towards the bathroom. Mara shifted and touched Karen’s shoulder.
  “I’ll follow, stay with Hunter and make sure he doesn’t rip anyone apart.” Mara said and followed Haven to the bathrooms. The bathrooms weren’t that far away, Haven slipped into the men’s room and Mara made sure to stay out of sight.
  Haven walked up to the sink and pulled off his jacket and started the water, grabbed a few paper towels and wet them lightly. He dabbed the soy stain with the damp paper towels. It didn’t take long to get the stain out,
  Sort of…
  Haven sighed and slipped his jacket back on before headed back out. This day was turning out to be alright, even if it was Mara’s plan and design. It was okay; Haven chuckled at the thought of Hunter’s reaction at the monster in the movie. He didn’t want to think about the incident in the arcade though.
  He opened the door and paused for a moment, he could have sworn he just saw Mara. He frowned thoughtfully before shaking his head and heading back to Hunter only to stop in his tracks. The woman that had spilt soy sauce and Hunter were kissing.
  “Hunter?” Haven gasped out in disbelief. The girl pulled away and looked over to him.
  “Haven,” Hunter took a step towards him. But Haven shook his head and bolted. He pushed people aside and shoving through the crowd. He made it out of the mall and down the street before the tears started pricking at the back of his eyes.
  He shook his head and kept going. The sun was beginning to set but then again they were in Alaska and sometimes the sun didn’t set. He didn’t care that it was cold he just kept running. Haven was pissed, he hated everything well not everything just one person in particular. What a jerk! He thought they were mates! He thought what they had, had was meant to be forever! What a complete moron he was! Tears pricked the back of Haven’s eyes and he didn’t want to think about it. He didn’t want to think about that woman touching Hunter. He didn’t want to-
  His angry thoughts were cut short when he tripped and fell flat on his face and scraping up his knees and hands. He hissed in pain and rolled to his side groaning, “Great…” He huffed out and glanced back to see what he’d tripped over.
  Haven gasped and scrambled away from the bloodied body lying on the side walk. Haven took in a shaky breathe as he backed into the brick wall separating a property from the sidewalk. After a moment the body made a sound, half way between a groan and a gurgled cough. Haven froze in place and stared at the person.
  Haven was snapped back to reality when the person with dark hair gasped out a few incoherent words. Haven shifted and crept closer to the man. He was about Haven’s height with black hair and was covered in blood; it looked like his own since his shirt was ripped to shreds and his body wasn’t doing any better.
  On closer inspection the man looked like he’d been attacked by a pack of dogs. Haven leaned over him and frowned, “H-hello?” Haven touched his arm which was maybe the only place he wasn’t bleeding out.
  The man coughed out something and managed to look up at him. “Shit…Fuck…” He tried to sit up and screamed out in pain. Haven jumped and looked around, nobody was around. In fact Haven had no idea where he was.
  “I…Need… I…” The man panted out and groaned in pain.
  “O-okay…L-look I’m calling an ambulance.” Haven fumbled around in his jacket only then realizing he didn’t have his phone. “Shit! I-I don’t have my phone.” He looked around for anyone that might be close by,
  Nothing.
  “Shit,” Haven breathed out on shaky breathes. He looked down to the man and was about to tell him he’d be back with help when he noticed something off. His blood was clumping up faster than it should; the wounds seemed to be too severe for the blood to scab over. Yet it was, in fact the wounds looked to be closing up.
  “…You’re a wolf…” Haven said and with that realization the hospital was completely off the table. “Okay, okay.” Haven shifted and moved the man hoisting him up by pulling him up and ducking under his arm and grabbing his belt. Haven ignored the protests of pain and literal growls. “Shut it, I’m trying to help you.” Haven said as he stumbled down the street with the bleeding man.
  “Fuck…” The man panted out, “My place.” He said and proceeded to point out the direction. It wasn’t that far but was up a few several flights of stairs.
  By the time Haven managed to fish the guy’s keys out of his pocket and get him into the apartment Haven was winded and everything was aching. He looked around the darkened apartment and frowned at the mess, like someone had tossed the place.
  “What the hell did you get yourself into?” Haven mumbled to himself though the man let out a humorless laugh. Haven glanced at him his deep chocolate brown eyes were half closed and dazed. Haven didn’t think he was even coherent enough to understand much. “Okay then.” Haven said to himself again as he led the man over to the torn up couch and let him down carefully.
  Haven then busied himself with looking through the mess for some type of first aid kit. He settled on towels and a bottle of peroxide. He returned to the guy and started cleaning up the blood and doing what he could to help the werewolf’s healing along.
  It was a long process with a lot of growling and death threats, but Haven was used to that sort of thing from Hunter and paid it no mind. After Haven was finished he looked around the place and hoped whoever had tossed the place wouldn’t be back anytime soon.
  Hours passed and the werewolf was sound asleep Haven didn’t leave because he didn’t want to go home. So he stayed and watched the wounded werewolf slowly heal. He made sure to take his meds staring at the bottle of lithium and figured he’d need to get a refill soon.
  Haven sighed and leaned back in the chair looking over to the werewolf currently sleeping on the couch and sighed again.
  He was so screwed.
So Haven's off on the run again...Idiot. Oh by the way, thanks so much for waiting around these long months for another update, I’ve had wild a ride with school and now that I’ve unloaded some of the work to wait until next year, writing is in my top priorities again. I hope to publish something someday so wish me luck and don’t forget to comment your woes, I don’t mind some light ribbing from those of you who might still be upset I left for so long. And vote you know you want to no matter how mad you are at me. <3
