"You ready?" Ashton says as I adjust my dress.
"Yep." I briefly say popping the 'p'
"How was your day today?" He asks me.
"Good. Why did you suddenly leave yesterday without saying goodbye?" I question.
"That is for me to know and you to find out." He smirks shutting the car door behind him.
"Where are we going?" I ask him a question once again.
"Jade, Jade, Jade, you ask so many questions. Just sit back and relax and you will see." He giggles.
"Fine." I huff and adjust my head on my hand and gaze out the window. Why does this boy have to hide everything from me, I hate not having control of things.

After staring out the window for at least 30 minutes we arrive at this beautiful Italian restaurant. I love Italian food, well it would be a problem if I didn't because I am part Italian.
"Here we are." Ashton points to the McDonalds next to the restaurant and laughs. "Sorry I didn't want to spend to much money." He breaks into full laughter as my mouth drops. "I am joking babe, I knew you loved Italian food so this is where we are going." He smiles as he snakes his arm around my waist.
"You actually fooled me then." I laugh. We walk up to the stand out the front.
"Irwin, please." Ashton speaks and the waitress shows us where our seats are.

"That was beautiful, thank you for that." I smile. Ashton still hasn't said happy birthday to me, I wonder if he remembers. We head back to the car hand in hand. The walk back is silent, but not an awkward silence. Ashton unlocks his car and I watch as the lights come on indicating the car is unlocked. I open the door of the passengers side and step in. I adjust my dress and sit in the position I sat in the way there. 1o minutes into the drive I feel a long warm hand touch mine. I look at my hand and see Ashton holding my hand. I look up at him and smile.

"Thank you for that that was great." I pull Ashton in for a tight hug.
"Your welcome. Happy birthday." He smiles pulling away giving me a kiss on my forehead. He pulls something out of his pocket and hands it to me. I take it out of his hands and open the small box slowly. I look inside the box and a gold necklace with my name on it is inside.
I put my hand over my mouth in shock. "Thank you, this is beautiful." This would have costed a lot of money, I feel bad when people spend a lot of money on me. Ashton gets down on one knee like he is proposing and I laugh.
"Jade Cunniffe, will you be my girlfriend?" He smiles.
"Yes, I feel like your proposing to me." I laugh and he joins. He pulls me into a hug and his hands snake around my waist. I snake my hands up his back to his neck and he pulls me in for a passionate kiss.
"Do you want to come over my house?" He pulls away looking me in the eyes.
"Yeah." I giggle and give him a peck on the cheek.
