~Gyutae's POV~
All 24 of us were in the practice room, hanging around waiting for somebody to come talk to us. Finally after 10 minutes of all of us being here, our manager Woohyun walked in.
"Hello kids." Woohyun greeted us with a bow.
"Hello~" We all bowed as we got in a group and faced him.
"I'm sorry to have you all come here but like we have done in the past, I feel it is the best to announce this stuff as a whole group." Woohyun started.
Everyone shared looks but nodded in agreement.
"I am here to announce the next group to promote for Royal Colors." Woohyun spoke, causing everyone to get excited.
Murmurs spread throughout the practice room.
"Quiet down so I can tell you." Woohyun snickered, causing us all to too.
"Make it fun, oppa!" JC exclaimed.
"Make it fun?" Woohyun asked.
"Yeah." Everyone nodded in agreement with smiles.
"How?" He asked.
"Suspense." A.D replied.
"Hmm, okay." Woohyun thought. "What do you guys want to know first?"
"How many members?" Ricky asked.
"Members? Five."
"Oooo~" Everyone said.
"Gender." Pop said.
"No, we should save that for last." Kaoru said.
"Okay, then how about ages?"
"Ages?" Woohyun asked. We all could tell he was thinking. "One from the older sibling line, one from the maknae line, two 97-liners, and one 98-liner."
"Ooo!" Everyone got excited, especially those of those lines.
Being the oldest, I got the most excited.
"Any members from the previous comebacks?" Chewy asked.
Woohyun smirked. "There are...none."
Some got more excited while others got disappointed.
"Any of the newly added members?" Christine raised a brow, sharing looks with her fellow newbies, Alex and Takashi.
"There is one." Woohyun put up one finger.
The three new members all smiled brightly in excitement. Nobody asked anymore questions.
"Gender reveal time?" I asked.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Okay the gender is, drum roll please." Woohyun said.
All of us then started hitting our knees or stomping on the floor. As soon as we stopped, he said it.
"Male!" He exclaimed.
The boys all cheered while the girls sighed and boo'ed.
"They went first last time~" JC whined.
"Which is why we should go first again." Changbin said, causing JC to pout and cross her arms.
"Who are they?" Daehyun asked.
Woohyun smiled. "I'll start with the maknae line."
"The male maknaes are Daehyun, D.NK, and Chase, right?" Blue asked. "Or would you count the twins, too?"
"Either way, it means Daehyun is in the group." Scout said. "He's the only one that wasn't in the first one."
"Oh yeah~" Everyone said in realization.
"Wait!" Daehyun exclaimed, looking at Woohyun. "Is it really me?!"
Woohyun smiled before nodding.
"Yes!!" Daehyun exclaimed.
"Congrats maknae!!" Chewy hugged Daehyun as they were sitting beside each other.
"Wait." Hikaru said. "The 98-liner, isn't Tyson the only one?"
"Yeah, he is." James nodded.
"I'm in the group?" Tyson asked with a smile.
Woohyun nodded.
"Congratulations oppa." Evelyn said, hugging her childhood friend.
"Next, the 97-liners." Changwoo said.
"The 97-liners are Barae, Ricky, Alex, and Takashi." A.D said.
"One has to be Alex or Takashi because they are the only male newbies." Pop said. "And the other has to be Barae or Ricky."
"You are correct, Pop." Woohyun nodded.
"Well, who is it?" Kaoru asked.
"Between Alex and Takashi, the member is..." Woohyun paused for suspense. "The honey vocals, Alex."
Everyone cheered for Alex and gave him hugs. All he could do was smile and nod humbly.
"And Barae and Ricky." Woohyun spoke.
"It has to be Barae." Chewy said to me, holding my hand tightly. "He's been apart of RC longer."
"I don't know, babe." I said with worry. "Ricky has been training longer."
"The member is..." Woohyun said, for the second time, pausing for suspense again. "Ricky."
"Darn." Chewy said, wanting her brother to debut.
Barae looked disappointed but still congratulated Ricky. Chewy consoled her brother from afar since we weren't near him.
"Ricky deserves it, too." I told Chewy.
"I agree." Chewy nodded. "I just feel bad for my brother."
"I do too." I said. "It's okay, but be supportive of Ricky too. He's just as much as our member as Barae is."
"Of course, I know that, and I will." She gave me a reassuring smile.
I smiled back and kissed her on the forehead.
"That leaves one more member left." Woohyun spoke.
"Hyung line." D.NK said.
"Yes." Woohyun nodded.
"Wait!" Chewy exclaimed, looking at me. "Oppa, it's you!"
"What?" I asked. "You don't know for sure."
"It has to be." Blue, who was behind us, chimed in. "You're the only older one who wasn't in the first group."
"Exactly!" Chewy exclaimed.
I thought about it. My eyes widened as soon as I realized it.
"Chewy and Blue are right, Gyutae." Woohyun said.
"I-I'm the last member?" I asked.
Woohyun smiled before nodding. Chewy threw her arms around me in a hug. I smiled and tried to find words but I was too happy.
"The five of you, Alex, Gyutae, Ricky, Daehyun, and Tyson, will meet with Junjae on the 12th to find out more about your album." Woohyun told us. "Congratulations boys. I know you'll do well. Fighting!"
We all cheered a fighting before being dismissed from the meeting. Most of us continued to stay and hang out. I got the four that was in the group with me together and we talked about how excited we were and stuff that we should know about each other since we were to be living together.

~Daehyun's POV~
I arrived home from school and as soon as I walked in, Gyutae greeted me.
"You're home." He said.
"I am!" I exclaimed. "I always get home this time."
"I know." Gyutae replied. "Now go get ready."
"Get ready?" I asked. "Where are we going?"
"We start album preparations today, remember?" Gyutae asked.
"Oh yeah!" I exclaimed. "Okay! I'll go get changed now!"
I ran to my room and quickly changed. As soon as I was ready, we left the dorm and headed to the company. Once arrived, we made our way to Junjae's office, arriving about 3:30. We knocked and were told to come in. After walking inside, we were greeting by a smiling Junjae.
"Hello, boys." He bowed his head.
"Hello~" We all bowed back.
"First off, congratulations to all five of you." Junjae started. "Since you will be making your debut."
"Thank you." Alex said as we all bowed in thanks.
"Ready to learn about your album?" Junjae asked.
We all nodded in agreement. We sat excitedly as he told us about the album. He had everything planned out and all we could do was give good reactions.
"We think this choice fits you all." Junjae spoke. "We hope you agree."
"As a group, I think we all agree." Gyutae said, the rest of us nodding in agreement.
"Good." Junjae smiled. "Now, want to hear your title track?"
"Yeah!" We all said with excitement.
Junjae snickered then played the song for us. We all loved it and gave good feedback. He even played the other songs for us. We agreed once again that everything fit us well. After 45 minutes, the introduction of our album was finished. Junjae gave us copies of the lyrics to send home for us to practice and told us when we would be back to record. We went home in high hopes and excitement, all of us studying our parts the rest of the day.
~Authors Note~
Hey guys! I didn't want to give anything away about the comeback so I didn't, like usual. I realized, though, that I made a mistake when I was writing the chapter where the girls are introduced to the dorm. I wrote that there were four rooms but there is actually three so keep that in mind for the question lol. You don't have to answer the question but I just thought it would be fun for you guys to. OH! AND GOOD NEWS! KND IS BACK!! If you saw my last message or my last update on Diff.rent, you would know that my story had disappeared. But it's back now!! I was so worried and stressed and now I'm feeling better. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed and I will see you soon. Biez!
Q1. Who do you guys think would be good roommates? Or in other words, who should share a room? There's three rooms total that fit four people each. And there will be six total people including the manager, Woohyun. So with Woohyun, Tyson, Alex, Ricky, Gyutae, and Daehyun, who should share a room?
