Recap:

"If I find out you're lying..."

"I haven't forgotten what you're capable of," Castiel said, opening the bottle of whiskey. "I still think about the massacre at the dam."

"One of my finest," Klaus smirked. He leaned forward and looked at Castiel. "Pray tell, brother, why do you look troubled?"

"So far, I've been honest with you and Talia. But there's one thing I haven't told her yet," Castiel spoke as he looked at Talia. "Don't know how she will take it."

"Care to tell me?"

"And risk hurting your relationship?" Castiel took a swig and held the bottle out to Klaus, who accepted. "I couldn't. I've seen the way you look at her. You love her. Just as I loved Annabelle."

Klaus smiled, "She's a pretty special girl, brother." Klaus looked back at Talia and exhaled softly. He was madly in love with her. "And she's mine,"

Chapter 98:

"Was I dreaming?" Talia asked as Klaus looked around their surroundings. They were in another diner in Fell's Church, the next town from Mystic Falls. "Like, it seems like a weird dream."

"What does, princess?" Klaus asked.

"Castiel, for one. Me getting kidnapped. Again. You know, I'll be beating my sister's kidnap record before I know it."

Klaus chuckled as he reached over for Talia's hand. "I am not going to let anything happen to you, my love,"

"Do you promise?" Talia asked softly.

"Cross my heart..." Klaus smirked.

"I'm just scared." Talia murmured. "Everything Castiel said yesterday, about my so-called destiny. And Annabelle, what was that about? He loved her?! And- and- and that man who exploded!" Talia leaned closer to Klaus. "What the fuck was that? You remember what Castiel said after that? That he had lost count. So... people have exploded that many times that he's lost count how many." Talia sat back and exhaled. She chuckled softly. "You know, I thought my life was a mess when I moved here and found out about the- you know whats, but now..." Talia now sighed, "that was nothing compared to this. I don't know what to do or believe anymore."

"Well, you have me," Klaus spoke. "You are not alone in all of this. I will help you get through this, my love,"

"You have me too, little witch,"

"Jeez!" Talia gave a little jump. "You really need to stop sneaking up on people like that!"

"I was waiting for you lovebirds for ages and then I got bored and hungry," Castiel spoke. "Scoot on over."

"And you really need to know the meaning of the phrase 'personal space'," Talia moved over and Castiel sat next to her. "God, Castiel. Remind me to buy you a dictionary."

"Deja vu," Castiel murmured. He shook his head and looked at Klaus. "We need to talk."

"What is it, brother?"

"Wait, I need coffee before I hear this," Talia spoke.

"But you don't like coffee," Klaus pointed out.

"Yeah, but since meeting Castiel over here, I find myself reaching for the coffee more and more. The bitter, the better, I find."

Klaus chuckled while Castiel looked offended. Then he spoke. "Back to more important matters. Did you look through the journal?"

"I skimmed through. I gotta say, it's full of details," Talia exhaled as she rested her arms on the table in their booth. "But who is this vampire you speak of? She's mentioned throughout."

"I can't tell you here." Castiel looked around.

"But, uh... I've cast a spell so no one can hear us,"

"Can't be too careful," Castiel spoke.

"You're questioning my abilities?" Talia asked in a low voice. When she saw Castiel and Klaus exchange a look, she bit back laughter. "Are you questioning my abilities? Well?!"

"Actually, I am," Castiel winked.

"You ruined my joke," Talia scowled as she nudged Castiel with her shoulder. "I'm hungry. Can we order before we chat?"

"Certainly, princess," Klaus smiled.

"Thanks," Talia blushed as Klaus ran his hand along her thigh from under the table. She bit her lip as Klaus retracted his hand.

"So," Klaus spoke casually, "what do you fancy for breakfast, love?"

"Uh..." Talia tucked a strand of hair behind her and looked at the menu. She barely read the words on the thick paper when she looked up at their waitress, who seemed to have appeared suddenly. "A hot chocolate is fine."

"She'll have your special," Castiel spoke. "Actually, all of us will. Thanks."

Talia looked at Klaus, a look of disbelief on her face. "I'm not hungry though,"

"You have to eat. You said you were hungry barely 2 minutes ago. Did Klaus' touch make you lose your appetite? You'll be complaining of hunger and how you're dying the second we're out of here," Castiel spoke as he handed the menus back to the waitress, who was amused by Castiel. "Teenagers, huh?"

Once the waitress had left, Talia looked at Klaus, confused. Then she faced Castiel. "You're such a weirdo," Talia murmured. "Worryingly so,"

"I appreciate that, little one,"

"You're definitely weird."

Klaus chuckled.

Meanwhile, back in Mystic Falls, Elena grew more and more agitated as she stood in front of Talia's bedroom door. She had not summoned up the courage to open the door and walk into the room. Her eyes stung with tears as she remembered something.

*flashback*

"Thanks for coming to get me, guys," Talia sniffed as she pulled her seat belt on. "I know it's late, but... thanks."

"It's okay, what are sisters for?" Elena smiled.

"Were you two on a date? I'm sorry you had to cut it short. Dad's at school and Jenna is with her colleagues. Didn't wanna call Damon because he's a prick. So... were you two on a date?" Talia subtly wiped her tears away.

"Uh.. something like that," Stefan smirked.

When Talia sniffled, Elena looked at her while Stefan became concerned. He turned back to look at Talia. "Hey, are you okay? What happened with Tyler back there?"

"I'm okay," Talia turned in her seat to look at Elena but found it hard because of the seat belt. "I don't know. One minute we were making out, then his hand runs along my back and he tries to unclasp my bra."

"He did what?" Stefan asked. He was angry. "Are you okay?"

"I just wanna go home."

"I'm just gonna go and-"

"Stefan, no!" Talia grabbed Stefan's hand before he opened his car door. "Please, I just want to go home. I'll talk to him tomorrow when he's cooled off."

"Why would he need to cool off?" Elena asked.

"He was annoyed." Talia looked at Stefan and smiled. "Oh, sorry, here, take your arm back," Talia let go of his arm, but was puzzled by the look on his face. "Stef?"

"What's happened to your arm?"

Talia's heart began to thud and she looked down. He's seen the bruises from the Robinsons. She almost sighed in relief when she saw her old bruises were not visible. Stefan was talking about a scratch. "What, this? I must've got it when I practically stormed out of his house."

"Are you sure?"

"I promise Tyler didn't hurt me," Talia's tone was firm.

"But what happened?" Elena asked.

Talia peered through the back window of Stefan's car and saw Tyler was watching her from the study's window. "It was nothing, honestly."

"Talia, Tyler can't hear us," Stefan spoke gently, "not like vampires."

"I know," Talia sighed and sank back. "I wasn't ready for that step. I mean, I've been with him for a week. That's nothing. Been in Mystics Falls for nearly a month. I'm still getting used to shit. He tried to unclasp my bra and I froze. I wasn't ready. That's all. End of story."

"Alaric and Jenna will freak when they hear this," Elena murmured.

"What, no!" Talia's tone was full of panic. "You can't tell them! They will... they'll stop me from seeing him and I really, really like him. Please, Elena, you can't tell anyone. And you, Stefan, please, guys.  Promise me this stays between the three of us. Promise me!"

"Talia, he's not good enough for you."

"But I like him, Stefan," Talia smiled sadly.

"You like him so much you're prepared to let him treat you like that?" Stefan asked.

Talia did not know what to say.

"He needs to take it easy," Elena sighed, "before anything happens."

Stefan took Talia's hands in his and sighed. "Talia, in the short time I've known you, I've come to see you as a little sister. I just wanna protect you,"

"That's really sweet of you, Stefan," Talia's eyes teared up. "I had no one back in England, except for my two friends and their family. Now, well, now I have incredible family and friends." Talia smiled. "I appreciate that you're trying to look out for me, you too, Elena, but I am a big girl and I need to continue standing on my own two feet like I always have done."

"We love you," Elena began to cry as she reached back for Talia. "You're family, of course, we're concerned."

"We will keep an eye on Tyler and you," Stefan spoke. "I won't tell your dad or Jenna. But if he does anything to hurt you, I'm ripping his head off. Okay?"

"Deal," Talia smiled. "Guys, we've been parked in Tyler's driveway for nearly 20 minutes, and the poor guy must be having heart palpitations."

Elena chuckled before she sighed. "You're sure you're okay?"

"Well, I am hungry so can we please go to that takeaway place Jeremy took me to in my first week in the US? Called Poppy's or something. Other than that, I'm fine."

"Popeye's," Stefan laughed.

"That's the one," Talia smiled. "Guys, I wanna say I..." Talia looked down, suddenly feeling shy, "I love you guys. I know we've only known each other for weeks, but I have so much love and respect for you guys. Thank you for telling me about vampires and so on, though I did have somewhat of an idea," Talia stopped and chuckled, "sorry, I'm just chatting shit now. Ignore me. But yeah, I love you guys,"

"Aw," Elena beamed as her eyes teared up again. "I will always be here for you, Talia. No matter what."

"Get out of the car," Stefan murmured.

"Um... why?" Talia asked.

Without another word, Stefan got out of the driver's seat, walked to the passenger side and opened Talia's door. Talia stepped out gingerly and Stefan hugged her tightly. "I will always have your back, Talia. You're the little sister I've never had."

"Thank you, Stefan," Talia murmured as she held onto him.

Elena smiled, over the moon that her boyfriend and sister were already good friends. She joined in the hug and smiled.

"Love you, guys," Talia murmured.

"You too," Stefan and Elena echoed.

A few moments had passed and Talia's stomach rumbled, making her pull away gingerly. "Guys, I'm hungry,"

"Come on," Stefan chuckled as they all piled into the car. Before closing her passenger door, Talia looked towards the house. Tyler was still standing there. Talia froze before she smiled and waved at him. To her relief, Tyler smiled back, waved his phone and mouthed something. Can I call you later?

Talia nodded and shut her door.

"I'm so glad I have a sister," Elena sighed happily, "another brother would've driven me to the brink of insanity,"

"Same," Talia chuckled. "I now have one of each. Lucky me,"

*end of flashback*

Tears were flowing down Elena's face. Before she knew it, her knees buckled as she dropped down. She wept quietly as she leaned against Talia's bedroom door.

Downstairs, Bonnie and Jeremy were talking in the kitchen.

"You're sure she can't hear us?" Jeremy asked again.

"Yeah," Bonnie smiled.

"I'm just worried about her. When she found out about Talia and Klaus, she was pissed. I mean, we all were. But she was next level pissed. And yesterday, she snapped at me over something stupid and then burst into tears," Jeremy shook his head and continued to slather a thick layer of peanut butter on his toast, "it's like she's... I dunno, it's strange."

"I think she's had a lot on her plate," Bonnie's tone was gentle. "She misses Talia and is worried about her."

"I miss her too," Jeremy took a bit of his toast and exhaled moodily. "I miss her.  Klaus is such a bastard for going after her."

"As much as I hate him, Klaus will not let anything happen to her,"

"What makes you sure?" Jeremy asked.

"That night, I saw the way he was looking at her, it's how you look at me," Bonnie smiled.

"Trust you to notice shit like that," the corners of Jeremy's mouth were turned up as he tried to suppress his smile. "Damn it, Bonnie, you may have a point?"

"I may?" Bonnie murmured as she walked towards him.

Jeremy smirked and abandoned his half-eaten toast. He scooped Bonnie up in his arms and put her on the counter. "Any plans for tonight?"

"Not really," Bonnie smiled. "Well, maybe see Caroline. Probably scry for Talia."

Jeremy sighed and moved away from Bonnie. "It doesn't feel the same without Talia."

"I know what you mean," Bonnie nodded as she hopped off the counter. "She's the smart one in the group and kept us all united. Poor Damon. He's taking it so hard."

"Have you seen him?" Jeremy asked.

"No," Bonnie admitted, "though last I heard, he was pissed and looking for Talia."

"I'm gonna go and see Elena," Jeremy began to walk out of the kitchen.

"Hold on, I'll come too," Bonnie spoke and with a click of her fingers, the spell was reversed. "Oh my god,"

Jeremy ran up the stairs to see Elena was smashing Talia's things with his bat. "Elena, Elena, stop!"

"No!" Elena screamed as she smashed Talia's Apple TV into smithereens.

"Elena, please!" Jeremy scrambled behind Elena and tried to wrestle the bat off her. "Damn it, Elena, stop it!"

"No, I won't!" Elena shoved Jeremy off, knocking him into Talia's wardrobe. She gasped as she looked at Jeremy. "Oh my god, I hurt you. I'm so so sorry!"

"It's okay," Jeremy muttered thickly as he used the hem of his t-shirt to wipe his bloodied nose. "I'm fine."

"It's not!" Elena sobbed as she started to smash Talia's perfumes. "It's not okay and it's never gonna be okay!"

"Call Damon." Jeremy backed away. "Bon, call Damon!"

A few moments later, Stefan arrived instead. He looked at the damage around the room and was shocked. He glanced at Elena, who was still holding the bat. "Elena?" When Elena did not give any indication of hearing Stefan, he tried again. "Elena. Please look at me."

"I don't know why I'm doing this," Elena cried as the bat fell from her hands. "I don't know what to do,"

"Shh," Bonnie walked through the mess and hugged Elena.

"I can't believe I did this. As if I haven't screwed up enough with Talia. I trashed her room, the one place that belongs only to her." Elena looked around pitifully, "Ric and Jenna spent so long helping her decorate it. All their hard work and I ruined it all in a few minutes." Elena bowed her head and exhaled softly. "I hate the person I'm becoming."

"Don't worry. We'll fix it, won't we, Jer?" Bonnie spoke.

"We will...?"

"Yeah!" Bonnie widened her eyes, "Elena, I'm going to take you downstairs and make you a cup of herbal tea. It'll make you feel better, okay? Jeremy and Stefan will help tidy up, right?"

"I have to go," Stefan murmured.

Elena looked at him. "Please, Stefan. I need you."

"I- I'm sorry," Stefan walked towards the door, "for what it's worth, I know you feel remorse after what you did to Talia. You just need to tell her that. As for me being here for you, well, I can't... not after that day."

"What I did to Talia?" Elena asked.

Jeremy and Bonnie exchanged nervous looks.

"Look, Elena, I don't have time to argue with you. You've made your feelings very clear and so have I."

"Please, Stefan."

"Jer, can you help me make some tea for Elena?" Bonnie's tone was strained. "Please, Jer?" Jeremy, who did not need to be told twice, practically bolted out of Talia's bedroom. Bonnie looked from Elena to Stefan and back at Elena. "Um... I'll leave you two to hash it out."

"Nothing to hash out," Stefan said.

"Stefan, I am begging you, please," Elena sighed.

"I'll leave you to it," Bonnie smiled. "Uh... let me know when you're done so I can try fixing the mess."

"Thanks, Bon," Stefan smiled tightly, annoyed that she did not let him leave. He wanted to avoid having another argument with Elena. Without looking at Elena, Stefan spoke. "What do you want me for?"

"I wanna apologise for what I said that night. I was out of order, Stefan, I'm sorry."

"Do you really mean it or are you only apologising because you and Damon had a fight?"

"I mean it," Elena sighed and her arms dangled beside her. "I hate the person I'm becoming."

"So do I," Stefan murmured.

"But you're not- you've been amazing,"

"I was talking about you, Elena. I hate the person you're turning into."

"Oh." Elena was hurt. "Okay,"

Stefan looked at Elena. "I shouldn't be here. I need to be out there to find Talia and Klaus. She is the only one who matters in all this."

Elena chuckled as her eyes watered. "My sister is so lucky she has so many people who love and care for her. I mean, she has people dropping everything, bending over backward, stopping their own lives just to find her."

"You sound a little bitter there, Elena," Stefan smiled.

"Maybe I am," Elena chuckled, "Like, she even has the Mikaelsons and Damon wrapped around her little finger."

"You sound jealous too,"

"I don't envy her," Elena sighed, "Not with her hunter destiny hanging over her head. Anyway, Stefan, I'll let you go. Wasted enough of your time." Elena took a step when she heard a crack. She froze as she noticed something under her foot. It was a photo frame. Stefan watched as Elena stooped low and picked it up. It was a photograph of Elena, Jenna, Jeremy, Alaric and Talia. "This was taken the first day we met Talia." Elena struggled to hold in her tears in. "The second she walked in, everyone loved her. I mean, look!" Elena held up the broken frame to show Stefan and small pieces of broken glass fell to the floor. "Jenna only knew her for a couple of hours and look at how she is hugging Talia. Like they've known each other for life." Elena looked at the photograph and sighed sadly. "I just want my sister back. This Talia. The one who didn't know about the Mikaelsons. I wish she didn't become friends with Kol and Rebekah. I wish she never met Klaus. I want Talia back."

"We'll find her, Elena," Stefan murmured. "She is with Klaus and he will not let her come to harm."

Elena looked at Stefan and bit back a retort. Instead, she sighed. "I want them all back. Jenna, Ric. My mom and dad. All of them."

"I know," Stefan spoke. His phone rang and he looked surprised. "Klaus?"

Out of town, Klaus watched as Talia and Castiel talked. "Ah, Stefan. How are things back in Mystic Falls? Oh, Talia? Don't worry, she's safe. Oh, really? Well, ask Elena this; why does she want to talk to the same sister she wished dead? Oh, surely not." Klaus enjoyed taunting Stefan and relished hearing Elena plead in the background. "Anyway, Stefan. I called to let you know that Talia is safe so you can call Damon off. Surely he has more important things to do than find Talia. She is not ready to come home. Oh, you want to talk to her? What's the matter, old friend? You don't trust me?" Klaus chuckled. "Talia, love. Stefan wants to talk to you."

On the other end of the phone, Elena and Stefan waited with bated breath.

"Stefan?" Talia sat in Klaus' lap. "Hey?"

"Talia," Stefan closed his eyes in relief before opening them. "Hey, how are you?"

"Good." Talia's voice was now scratchy as she ached for one of Stefan's warm hugs. "You?"

"I'm good." Stefan looked at Elena, who was silently pleading for his phone. "Talia, uh..."

"I miss you," Talia murmured as she leaned against Klaus, her head on his shoulder. "So..."

"Talia, when are you coming home?"

Talia looked over at Castiel, who was staring at his phone. "Uh... no idea."

"Where are you?"

"I'm safe, that's all you need to know, Stefan."

"Okay," Stefan looked to see Elena was watching him, still begging for his phone. "Uh... Lia, there's someone who wants to talk to you,"

"Who is it?" Talia asked. "If it's Elena, I don't want to talk to her."

Mystic Falls

"Who is it?" Talia asked. "If it's Elena, I don't want to talk to her."

Elena's face dropped. She looked down and sighed.

"She just wants to know you're okay," Stefan said.

"I'm okay." Talia's voice was now on loudspeaker. "I'm more than okay. I'm with Klaus. Why wouldn't I be okay? I'm absolutely 100% okay. Okay?"

"You don't sound okay," Stefan pointed out.

"You don't say," Talia sighed. She looked at Klaus, who was surprised. "I just- ignore me, Stef, I'm just going through a lot of shit right now and... that's it. No ifs and buts."

"Come home and we can help you through whatever you're going through."

"That's very kind of you, but it's something I have to do alone."

"But you have Klaus with you," Elena spoke bluntly.

"Stefan, can you kindly tell your ex-girlfriend that my boyfriend has never embarrassed me in front of the entire town or disowned me or even wished me dead. She has. Okay, Stefan, I'm gonna have to love you and leave you. Things to do, people to see, food to eat. You know how it is. Nice chatting to you."

"Wait!" Elena yanked the phone off Stefan. "Talia, please listen to me."

Talia handed the phone to Klaus and kissed him. "Thanks, Klaus,"

Klaus' eyes twinkled as he watched her walk towards Castiel. He put his phone to his ear and listened to Elena plead. "Talia, please. I'm so sorry." Klaus bit back a chuckle. "I shouldn't have wished you dead, but you need to understand Klaus isn't a good person. You can't choose him over your own family."

"Oh, but she did, love," Klaus smirked. "You disowned her so she is a free agent, no?

In Mystic Falls, Elena paled. Stefan took the phone off her. "Klaus? Wherever you are, keep Talia safe."

"I'll be seeing you sooner than you think, ripper,"

Stefan sighed as Klaus cut the call. He noticed the way Elena was looking at him. "Don't."

"What do you mean?" Elena snapped. "You had the perfect opportunity to tell Klaus to bring Talia back home and you didn't use it! Why did you tell him to keep her safe?! That's not his job. It's my job to protect her. I'm her big sister."

"Well, I hate to break it to you, but you've been doing a pretty crap job as her big sister." Stefan snarled.

"Excuse me?"

"Before we know about Talia, Jeremy needed you. He was doing drugs with Vicki and you didn't even see that! You were too busy screwing me. Then Talia came to the US. Again, you didn't realise the abuse she went through in England. It was literally in front of your eyes. Her fear, the secrecy and the bruises on her body. But, no, you were too busy trying to screw my damn brother." Stefan stopped and regretted his words. "Ele-"

"Nice to know what you really think of me," Elena laughed shakily. Seconds later, she sped out, leaving Stefan alone in Talia's smashed up bedroom. He scowled and looked around the mess.

*a few minutes later*

Stefan was sitting on Talia's bed as he tried to repair the broken snowglobe that Jenna had gifted Talia. When the small ballerina would not spin, he sighed in frustration but did not give up.

"Whoa," Damon had arrived. "What happened here?"

"Your girlfriend happened," Stefan spoke in a dull tone.

"Looks like a bomb hit it," Damon murmured as he looked around the room. "Elena seriously did this?"

"Yup," Jeremy folded his arm."

"You seriously followed me from the basement?" Damon was not pleased.

"Damon, your girlfriend needed you and where were you? Oh yeah, you were running away from your problems."

"I was looking for Talia," Damon snapped. "Damn it, Jeremy! Use your freakin' brain! I was not ignoring Elena, I was looking for Talia. Have been for the last few days. So I'm sorry if your big sister was not my top priority, I'm too busy finding your baby sister!"

"Don't start on me!"

"Guys, shut up." Stefan scowled.

"Elena, I've got your tea-" Bonnie stopped abruptly, "oh. Where is she?"

"She didn't like what I had to say so she stormed off." Stefan shrugged.

"What did you say?" Damon asked.

"Well, Talia didn't want to talk to her on the phone and Elena was a little pissed off about that."

"Hold on, you spoke to Talia?" Jeremy asked. "When?"

"How is she?" Damon asked quietly.

Stefan looked at his brother and for the first time in his life, he felt sorry for him. "She said she was okay."

"Did she say where she was? Or when she's coming home?"

"She's not coming home any time soon, Jeremy," Stefan stood up and sighed.

"Okay." Jeremy swallowed. "Uh... let's start clearing this up. We can't exactly have Talia come back to this mess." Jeremy began to pick up Talia's broken computer. "This will be expensive to replace."

"There's another way to fix all of this," Bonnie spoke and the other three men looked at her. "Magic."

*out of town*

Talia was sitting on a bench near the lake. She was deep in her thoughts and did not take notice of what Castiel and Klaus were talking about. She began to think about Elena and felt hurt, betrayal and anger bubble in her stomach like acidic bile, waiting to burst. Looking for something to do, Talia noticed a few pebbles on the ground. She picked them up and walked to the edge of the lake. "Stupid fucking idiot," Talia murmured as she skimmed each pebble on the surface of the water. She sighed.

"Are you okay?"

Talia looked at Klaus, who looked concerned. She smiled up at him. "Yeah... I was just thinking about what my next meal would be. A cheeseburger sounds good, yeah?"

Klaus chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Talia and rested his chin on her head. They both watched as the sun began to set. The golden rays shimmered over the lake. "How are you, really? Talking to Stefan can't have been easy, princess."

"Yeah," Talia held Klaus' arms. "I miss him."

"We can go home if you wish?"

"No, no." Talia turned around and looked at Klaus. "This may sound awful, but I have enjoyed being away from Mystic Falls. Clearly those vampires who kidnapped me did me a massive favour."

"You're welcome."

Talia rolled her eyes before she turned to look at Castiel. "Mate. Two words for you. Personal. Space."

"Got you," Castiel nodded. "What now?"

"What do you mean?" Talia asked. "I thought you had a plan,"

"Well," Castiel glanced at Klaus, "I thought he did."

Talia and Klaus exchanged a look.

"Clearly not, brother," Klaus spoke.

"No worries," Castiel grinned.

"Okay," Talia now addressed Castiel, "Klaus and I will enjoy our much-needed couple time while you work on a plan."

"But-"

"Thanks!" Talia grabbed Klaus' hand.

"No- wai-"

"We'll be back in say, an hour. Two, tops."

"But I need to tell you more about the vampire I wanted to bait when I kidnapped you."

"Can't it wait?" Talia asked.

"Nope."

Talia exhaled. "Fine. Tell me then."

"Just give me a moment," Castiel took out his phone and dialed a number. "Hi, yes, can I order a large meat feast pizza, 3 large fri- actually, make that 4 large fries and coke. Thanks. The address? Er..." Castiel realised they were in the middle of nowhere. "Near the lake. Yeah. I'm serious, man. I'll give you $500 in tips. Good." Castiel cut the call off and scoff. "Teens, willing to do anything for a buck."

Talia was bemused. "Well?"

"Well what?"

"Argh!" Talia growled. "I don't even know why I fucking bother."

Klaus chuckled as Talia stalked off back to the car. "You certainly pissed her off, Cas."

"And I don't even have to try." Castiel murmured.

"So, you were telling me about this vampire," Klaus said. "How can you be sure it is her?"

"Because I have eyes and ears everywhere." Castiel sat down on the bench and sighed. "Nik, this is important. Talia's destiny is closer than you think. Once she gets her hands on Talia, it's game over for our favourite little witch."

"What does she want with Talia?" Klaus asked.

"She does not want Talia to fulfill her destiny. Hell, no supernatural does." Castiel picked up a  pebble and skimmed it across the lake flawlessly. "She wants Talia dead and in order to do that, Talia will be sacrificed during the eclipse. One life for the lives of millions of supernatural creatures. Talia's life. " Castiel looked up at Klaus sadly. "The eclipse is a few weeks away."

Klaus looked back at the car, where Talia was reading through Castiel's notebook, her eyebrows furrowed with concentration. "I'll be damned if that bitch thinks she can get her hands on my girl,"

"Be warned brother, she has a long fight ahead of her."

Ooh. So... who is this 'she' Klaus and Castiel keep talking about?

A revengeful ex?

Some other bitch?

Who feels sorry for Elena 'Crybaby' Gilbert?
