As Lillian was walking around the waiting room, Neal and Peter both looked up to see her flinching when she heard Mary groan in pain again.
"Lillian, how is she?" Regina asked as she walked into the waiting room, putting a hand on her shoulder in order to comfort her.
"Well, no surprise she's in pain." She winced when Mary Margret cried out yet again
"Any sign of Zelena?" Regina asked warily and Lily shook her head once, gripping Peter's arm tightly when it wrapped against her waist.
"Not yet." Neal replied, looking at Emma who cradled Henry close to her. Neal smiled as Henry ripped himself apart from his mother and walked into his father's arms.
"Well," she removed her coat, tossing it over the back of the nearest chair as Emma approached us, looking completely frazzled. "Just in time, we'll need your help with this, Lillian."
Lillian nodded, pulling away from Peter's embrace to raise her hands, summoning her shimmering gold magic and combining it with Regina and Emma's to cast a protection spell. The shimmering, clear shield slowly began to spread through the halls of the hospital and Lillian smiled at the stunned expression on Peter's face.
"You really think this protection spell will be enough to hold her off?" Emma asked dryly, lowering her hands as the spell shimmered and turned invisible.
"Well," Regina sighed, turning around and walking towards them. "That depends if your brand of magic is stronger than hers."
''Which, if it is, no one capable of dark magic should be able to get in here." Lillian added, sighing deeply as Peter hugged her around the waist, uncertainty come off him in waves. "So, Regina, Peter and myself probably shouldn't leave her if we want to get back in."
"That doesn't sound like a vote of confidence." Emma pointed out and Lillian shared a look with Regina.
"It isn't." She admitted. "But, we're out of options." She walked back through the doors, Peter and Lillian at her heels, and Lily clenched her teeth together tightly when another wave of Mary's agony hit her hard. Peter inhaled sharply, gently tugging her to the nearest bed and lifted her up onto it as she clenched at her head.
"Lillian." She nearly cried from relief when she looked up to see David beckoning her from the door, Emma and Hook hovering behind him. "We need you."
"Thank God." She muttered before she all but ran from the room, heaving a deep sigh of relief when the door shut, taking most of Mary's pain along with it. "I was about to lose it."
"Empathy giving you trouble again?" David asked, placing a hand on her shoulder as his brows drew together with worry. She nodded with a grimace, not surprised to see that Peter had followed her out of the door, his eyes fixed beyond her shoulder. She turned, smiling faintly at the sight of Luca and Darren before they nodded at Peter and Lily and headed into the room, clearly here to help guard Mary.
"What's up?" Lily asked, reaching up to grip Peter's hands when they rested on her shoulders, squeezing them tightly as he moved closer and rested his chin on the top of her head.
"I want you to go help Hook and Emma." Lillian blinked once, then again when the expression on his face didn't change and looked towards the two to see them staring at the man in shock.
"I'm sorry, you want what?" He blinked nervously at the tone of her voice, refusing to make eye-contact, which only served to make her angrier.
"I want you to go with Emma and Hook to try and find Zelena." He explained shortly, clearly wary of Lillian for the first time in a while and she rolled my eyes at his behavior, as she wasn't going to rip his head off.
''David, as soon as I see that witch, she will stop me. I'm bound to that dagger as soon as I'm within 30 meters. If I take a step too close, I'll kill everyone around me. I can't go with them.'' Turning back to Mary's room and then back to David. ''I'm sorry ... I can't help you.'' As she walked away from the person she saw as her third dad, she had to blink away tears, walking into Neal's tight embrace.
''You're right Lily, you made the right choice.''
--------Once upon a time--------
"Who is Zelena?" Lilith asked curiously, smirking when Rumple's back stiffened and he slowly turned to face his student, his amber eyes wide with surprise.
"How do you know that name, dear Lilith?" He asked in a tight, stilted voice and she shrugged lightly before scooting back and perching herself on the nearest windowsill to stare at him. Thankfully, Snow and Charming decided Lilith was the only one they could trust to go and speak with Rumple, though she was well aware that they only wanted her out of the way so she wouldn't know where the cage they were building for her mentor was housed. Their lack of trust, while expected, somewhat stung as she'd been on their side completely, not even faltering even on the off chance Rumple was involved.
Rumple slowly approached her, his head twisted thoughtfully as she stared back, silently mulling over how to explain how she knew the name of the Wicked Witch of the West.
"Well, I know you had more than one student while I was away." She pointed out quietly and he stiffened, a wary light entering his eyes.
"And, just how did you ... stumble across, that information?" He asked quietly and Lilith rolled her eyes inwardly, unable to stop her body from tensing in anticipation of his reaction when she opened her mouth.
"The Shadow."
--------Once upon a time--------
"Lily!" Henry said, catching sight of his sister who was now sitting on the ground as she felt a flash of magic coming from a blood bond. Killian's blood bond.
"Henry, go." Regina ordered and Lillian nodded when Henry hastened to do as he said, the two leaving just as Zelena rounded the corner, flanked by Rumple. "This isn't going to be pretty."
"No, it isn't." Zelena agreed darkly.
"Take another step and I'll roast you." Regina threatened, holding up her hands as Lillian flanked her, glaring heatedly at Zelena.
''Oh, please." She spat, waving her hand at Regina and sending her sister flying down the hallway before she fell to the floor and remained there, limp and still. "And now, for you." She whispered maliciously and Lily tensed when she waved her arm at her, the magic pressing against her and making her jerk back, though she remained on her feet.
"You're not the only one Rumple taught all his tricks to." Lillian hissed out at the sight of her face when her amusement turned to fury. A fireball erupted in her palm, though she twisted around in time to see Rumple before something hit her hard in the back of the head. She fell to the floor, the world spinning violently before it all went black.
Neal breathed out, frankly looking around to find his sister, but she was nowhere to be found. The door slammed open, revealing a pissed off David carrying a sword. He stalked past them.
"Where are you going?" Regina asked. "To get my son." David shot back tersely and Peter narrowed his eyes before reaching and grabbing onto his arm, not surprised when he shook the lost boy off.
"What you're going to do, is get yourself killed." He hissed out, scowling when he ignored him and continued walking, only to stop when Regina grabbed his arm firmly.
"David, think about this.'' As Neal now realized Lily was nowhere to be found, he sped towards them, grabbing David's arm.
"What is there to think about?" David demanded and Regina looked to her right when Henry tugged on Regina's sleeve.
''My sister.'' As Regina, Peter, David and Henry all turned to Neal they frowned. That was until Peter realized he hadn't seen his girlfriend after Zelena had stormed in. ''Zelena took her.''
As Lily awoke, she stared up to her adoptive father's face. She smiled brightly as she hugged him closely. Only to be pulled away from him within a second. Turning her head to face Zelena, she glared at her. That witch had killed her, yes she came back but that was beside the point and now she was compelling her with the dagger.
''Hello Dark Lilith, how nice of you to join us.'' She turned on her heel as she smiled up to Mary Margret and David's baby. The sight made Lillian's blood boil, but she had no choice than just to keep standing next to her mentor. Bound to the dagger, she was now bound to Zelena's command.
''See once I change the past, you and I shall meet under different circumstances. And, Rumple, you will choose me.''
''No, he won't. I was his apprentice for a reason, I am one with that dagger for a reason.'' Smirking at Zelena, Lilith's blood red eyes came back to her. ''He will always choose me.''
Zelena stared up to the young teenager as she slapped her cheek, pretty hard. But Lilith kept on staring and smirking at Zelena, not about to give up on what she had accomplished until now. All she needed to do was send Peter and Neal a sign and they would appear closely to herself.
''No matter where you go in time, I will find a way to kill you.'' As Zelena summoned all of the different ingredients, she smirked at Lilith and Rumple.
"Don't worry, dearie. Once all this is over, you won't remember a thing." Lilith snarled quietly when she heard Zelena's words as her family and boyfriend stalked to the barn entrance, Peter's gaze fixed on her.
"It isn't over yet." David snapped out firmly and Zelena turned, smiling widely as the colored streams continued to circle around her, Lily and Rumple.
"And whose going to stop me?" She asked mildly, looking at Emma with a raised brow as Peter's eyes turned a bright yellow, summoning his shadow closely. Lilith bit her lip as she stared at the dagger, trying to let herself get closer to it in order to take it away from Zelena.
"Certainly not the Savior." As they stepped forward, Lily caught sight of David eyeing his son, fear rolling off him and Emma jerked her head towards the infant. "Go, We've got your back."
"And I've got your heart." Robin assured Regina, who smiled faintly at him before he turned and warily stalked along the edge of the circle with David, Robin and Neal toward the baby.
"Zelena, stop this now." Regina commanded as Peter flanked her, the darkness beginning to spread across Peter's body and Lily swallowed at the sight of it, so badly wanting to help him, but for now, she was on the opposite side. "We're not gonna let you succeed."
Zelena chuckled lightly before she jerked the dagger in Rumple and Lily's direction. "Rid me of those pests." She ordered before waving her other hand toward David and Robin, throwing them against a wall and into a pile of hay.
"Please, no more water." Lily heard Hook say mockingly.
As she herself was now ordered to take on Peter. It took ever power of the dagger to compel her to do it, but she sure as hell didn't like doing it.
"Get the dagger." Rumple said gruffly as he waved his hand, knocking Emma's gun out of her hands. "Then the dark one and the Dark Lilith will be on your side."
"That's easier said than done." Emma gasped out.
"Do as I say, or we will destroy you both." Rumple hissed out as Emma's eyes widened. "We have no choice." He waved his hand and Lillian threw a fireball at her boyfriend, tears clouding her vision. "Peter!" I shouted before I rolled away, dodging him before she disappeared in smoke, reappearing next to Rumple in time for Zelena to lift Regina up in a choke hold.
"Only light magic can harm me. And you're as dark as they come." Zelena chuckled out darkly. "It was your destiny to be this way. And will also be your undoing!"
"Don't...tell me...what I can be!" Regina grunted out hatefully and Zelena smirked darkly at Regina before turning to Lilith and doing the same as she did to Regina.
"I tried to be good once, but it wasn't in the cards." She chuckled out. "This is who I am, and it's who you are!" Lillian caught sight of movement and watched as Peter stood, his eyes wide at the sight of her struggling.
"You're wrong, sis." Regina gasped out and Lily felt my hands tingling, gasping out as Zelena's hold around her neck tightened even more in her panic.
''What are you two doing?" Zelena asked, her eyes wide with panic as Lillian managed to look down, shock filling her at the sight of pearly white magic surrounding her hands. She focused on all of the good parts in her life. Rumple, Neal, Belle, Henry, and most of all ... Peter.
"Changing." Regina said with a smile before the white encircling their hands shot out of them, smashing into Zelena and flinging her off her feet where she landed hard on the ground. Lillian fell to her knees, standing up quickly and rushing to Peter and Neal as Regina stalked forward and ripped Zelena's brooch off with a sneer. "I make my own destiny."
The swirling magic slowly subsided and everyone watched as the monkey David began fighting turned in Little John at the last moment, breathing out a shaky laugh against Peter's chest as he cradled Lily tightly to him, pressing his lips against the top of her head.
"How did I do that?" Lily asked softly, looking up and Peter smirked down at her, pressed his forehead against hers as he breathed softly.
"Love." he whispered softly and Lillian closed her eyes before she jumped on him, laughing softly as he spun them around before he set her down and kissed her hard, his cool hands cupping her face as he deepened the kiss.
"Come on you two!" Lillian jerked away from Peter to see Neal smiling faintly at them as he, Emma, Robin, Little John, David and Hook began to walk from the barn.
"You failed." Regina said, turning and chuckling. "You're not going anywhere."
"I beg to differ." Rumple growled out and tightened his hand into a fist before he moved it to his chest, dragging a struggling Zelena across the dirt to rest at his feet. "I'm gonna make you pay for everything you've done to me." He promised darkly as Lillian stepped to his side, her eyes flashing red.
"And I'll help."
"What are you waiting for?" Zelena demanded, gasping loudly. "Just do it!"
Lily shared a dark look with Rumple and nodded once, making him turn back to her and raise his arm. "With pleasure."
"No!" Regina shouted and Lillian started in surprise when a 'whoosh' sounded and Rumple's arm was jerked back. "Enough." Lily looked up to see Regina holding the Dark One dagger and snarled angrily at her, only to be pulled away from Rumple and into Peter's arms.
"Love, don't. This ends now." Lillian turned in Peter's hold to see Regina waltzing toward them, clutching the dagger tightly, with Robin flanking her as he aimed his crossbow at Zelena.
"After everything this witch has done you're gonna protect her?" Rumple asked, gesturing toward said witch angrily, his features twisted with rage and pain.
"Good magic stopped her. And good magic doesn't exact vengeance."
"She tried to kill my daughter!" Rumple sneered out with rage, pointing fiercely at Zelena. Though it wasn't a happy moment, Lily's eyes filled with tears of joy. He wanted Zelena to pay for what she had done to her, not for what she did to Rumple. He wanted her to pay because she hurt Lily.
"How many lives have we taken trying to get what we want, Rumple?" Regina asked softly and he turned to look between Lillian and Regina, his lips twisted into a snarl.
"You can't be serious." Rumple whispered out and Lillian nodded.Walking out of Peter's embrace as she hugged him tightly.
"I am. Heroes don't kill." Regina answered softly
"So now you're a hero?" Zelena mocked, earning a smile from Regina.
"Today, I am."
Lillian smiled faintly as Mary cooed over her baby, tears of joy leaking out of her eyes as her own happiness at being reunited with her baby filled the room, Lily let out a tearful chuckle as she settled next to Mary Margaret and ran a finger against his chubby cheek, laughing louder when David caught sight of the action.
"Please tell me you aren't planning on giving us another bundle of joy for a while yet." He pleaded, his eyes filled with amusement and tears as Lily shared a thoughtful look with Peter, who raised an eyebrow at David.
"Well, who said we aren't already past the planning stage?" He asked, tilting his head to the side as David's face rapidly purpled, making both teens start chuckling as Lily leaned back against Peter's chest, the sight of their mirth letting David know they were joking.
''But, I did have something else planned.'' As everyone turned to Peter. Lillian frowned as Neal, Henry, Regina, Emma, Killian and Robin walked into the room. Smiling at the little boy.
''Then what are you planning Pan?'' Regina asked, folding her arms over her chest.
''Well, my dear queen, I have something for Lillian.'' As now Lillian stood up, frowning as Peter took her hands, he smiled. ''Dear Lily ... I know that we are only young in these forms, but I've known you for a very long time.'' As he spoke the words, Neal pulled Henry close, as both of them now knew what Peter was planning.
Mary, David and Emma glanced at each other as David nodded, he'd known all this time. He had after all, given Peter his blessing to do this.
''And I want to spent the rest of my life with you.'' As Peter got on one knee, he pulled out a small jewelry box, opening it as a small ring was placed on it. ''Will you marry me?''
As Lilith stared up to the ring, Peter chuckled. ''Any day now ... ''
''Yes! Yes you dork!'' As she pulled him back on both feet, everyone started to clap, David and Neal most of all as Lily pulled her now fiance in a sweet kiss.
They are going to marry!!!!!!! Oh gosh, I was so not ready to write it because it feels like they are growing up but I had to do it. They are meant for each other and I love their pure relationship. What do you think of them getting married? Hopefully you enjoyed this chapter, and if you did, leave a vote, comment, follow and maybe even a theory/suggestion for their wedding. See you n two days!
