Rolling my eyes I pushed my phone into my back pocket leaning my back against the wall. "What's confusing for her?" I semi-yelled, "it's only for 3 more weeks and she'll be back at her moms Monday to Thursday and with me the rest of the week! I'm legit just asking for some support from my lady!"
"You really can't be that oblivious.." she scoffed in a calm tone, "your daughter needs stability. Why would I move in with you for her to get accustomed to the temporary living arrangement. That is confusing for her Tony and I'm not going to be the one to put her through that. One day we're all one big happy family living under one roof than the neck to she back to bouncing from her mom's place to yours. Why can't you see that this isn't a good idea?"
Shrugging my shoulders I didn't grasp her point, "we'll all be living together eventually so I don't see that damn problem.."
She tossed her head back running her hands through her hair with annoyance on her face, "there you go rushing into the future again like I'm just supposed marry you tomorrow."
"If you ain't trying to build this relationship to marriage then what you here for?" I snarled
Instantaneously her face changed to one of shock as I could tell she was taken back by my words, but at the moment I didn't give a rats ass. What started as asking for a simple favor turned into another argument about the same thing. At the end of the day I want a complete family in the next few years and if she didn't plan on giving it to me and being a part of it, the we could start here and just say fuck it.
"It always has to be about you.." she croaked walking out of the bedroom closing the door behind her.
It wasn't long after until I heard the door to our suite close as well leaving me alone with just my thoughts for the time being.
