Carson POV
Tomorrow is our first game and it's against Pinnacle and they're good.
Really good.
Coach is pushing us really hard.
Scott, Daniel and I were talking about when.
"Carson, Daniel, Scott take a lap" Coach yells and we start running our lap
"I am not kidding around boys Pinnacle is the team to beat and I will not have our first game be a loss because you do not know how to be quite while I talk" Coach yells
"He loves to overreact" Scott whispers to me
"Line up boys Carson Scott over by me" Coach says and we all lineup on the base line
"Full court suicide" Coach says and we all start running after the last person Coach let's us get a drink of water.
"10 seconds hurry up" Coach says
"30 pushups and 40 crunches base line when done" Coach yells
I do my pushups and crunches and stand on the baseline
"Full court go" Coach yells we do 7 suicides before we end practice.
"How was practice" Ethan asks as I get in the car
"Fine your coming tomorrow right" I ask
"Ya I'll be there" he says
Next day
It's half way through the game and we're tie game. Coach just put me in for shooting guard.
"I'm open pass" I say to Ian there's 15 seconds left and I'm the only one open but instead he tries to make an impossible shot and misses Pinnacle gets the ball and shoots.
"What the fuck Ian I was completely open" I say while we're in the locker room
"Ya while you know what Carson if I passed the ball to you we still would've loss cus you're a shitty shot" Ian says
"I'm not the reason we lost to Pinnacle" I say Ian turns around and then punches me in the face.
"You want some more" Ian says I get up and slam him into the lockers.
"KYLES LODGES OUTSIDE NOW" Coach yells I grab my bag and walk out of the locker room
"Hey you ready to go I got plans with Phoebe" Ethan asks
"Give me a second" I say a minute later coach and Ian come out
"Both Of you need to apologize and shake hands" Coach says to us
"Sorry" I say
"Sorry" Ian says and we shake hands
"Can you try and mean it" Coach says
"I'm sorry" Ian says the walks away
"No more fighting I hope see you tomorrow at practice" Coach says then walks
"Let's go" I say
"You got in a fight" Ethan says
"It was nothing" I say
"Come on" Ethan says
"You saw the game he should have passed the ball to me and we lost because of him he's an asshole" I say
"Ya He should have but he didn't and you shouldn't have fought him he's your team mate you don't fight your team mate" Ethan lectures
"Tomorrow apologize" Ethan says
"I already apologized" I say
"We both now that apologize was bogus" Ethan says
"Whatever I will" I say.
