" Tori...Can we please talk" Jack sighed turning over to face me. I looked up at him and twisted my lip but nodded.
He let out a breathe of relief biting his lip.
" Y-You know i love you right?" He asked sounding kinda scared to hear my answer.
" i don't know anymore Jack..." i mumbled turnin over onto my back.
" Well i do...deeply...i never stopped loving you..."
" Then why'd you do it?" i asked turjing back over to face him.
" Because i was frustrated with you..."
" for what?!...I didn't do anything!" I snapped.
" I thought you stopped loving me Tori...it was a weird time in our relationship and you seemed tired and over it but whenever i asked you would push it off...you stopped telling me you loved me...you started yelling at me for little things and it made me frustrated and upset...it's no excuse for doing what i did but that's how i was feeling...I wasn't thinking and every time we would get into a huge argument...i left and i tried to stop but i just needed something...I stopped drinking for you...and i wasn't gonna fuck that up but i did something far worse and i-i'm sorry!...Now everything is falling apart...because of me!"
Jack explained how he felt in the moment and began to cry...it hurts seeing him cry no matter what and right now I want to hug and kiss him but i also don't...what he did still fucked me up...
I turned back over to the opposite side of the room and sighed.

" Morning" i softly smiled greeting my friends as inwalked to the kitchen
Since they're in town Jack insisted they stayed over here instead of at a hotel or air bnb so they save money and i was fine with it.
" Morning Gorgeous" Jason smiled walking over kissing my cheek. I froze looking up at him wide eyed.
" Jason...I-...Can you please take it down a couple notches...My husba-"
" Aren't you separated?...You're free to do what you want"
" Yes that's...that's true but the subject is still...fresh" I said pushing hair behind my ear.
" It's just a cheek kiss babe..." he chuckled running his hand across my lower back walking to the fridge.
" Jason you don't get that we're both still hurting... you touching me like that in not only his but our home is completely disrespectful...you're supposed to be my friend...act like it please" i snapped for some unknown reason.
" Ok Damn...i'm sorry muffin" He put his hands up in surrender.
I shook my head at the ignorance of this man...

I just made a plate of breakfast for myself, The kids and Jack because that's just how i am now.
No matter how mad i am at him i will always ride for him and i kinda hate it because right bow especially he doesn't deserve it.
" Morning mommy" Jaden smiled walking down fully dressed with his book bag on his back
"Morning baby" i sweetly smiled putting his plate and a cup of orange juice in front of him.
Every body in this house wakes up early now, it's kinda weird waking up at 6am every morning.
" Morning" Sophia greeted taking a seat at the island right beside her brother and Jason.
" Morning" i replied back passing her plate and juice to her.
" Morning..." Jack came last walking in and kissing my cheek.
" Morning" i sweetly smiled handing him his plate
"Thank you...I wanna hang out with you after we drop the kids off at school...I wanna talk more" he said playing with my butt.
I hesitantly nodded lookin up at him.
" I love you...Truly" he mouthed lifting my chin placing multiple soft kisses on my lips.
" i love you too" i truthfully told him playing with his fingers.

Jack and i took a shower and got dressed quickly then we brought the kids right to school.
" Where are we going?" i asked looking over at Jack who was driving.
" To the place this all started..." He softly smiled parking and kissing my hand.
I raised my eyebrow watching him get out and run over to my side just to open the door.
" Can i?" he asked holding out his large hand.
I smiled taking it.
He carefully helped me out the car and locked it before we started walking through a parking lot. I was looking around everywhere trying to find out where he was taking us but every time he caught me looking he turned my face to look at him.
" It's a surprise little bear...You gotta wait juuuust a minute" he said lifting my chin. I pouted listening to what he is saying.
We walked for a couple more minutes before we walked into a weird building.
" Jack where are we?...Everyone is at the hou-"
" Ta da!" he smiled stopping in front of a black door with familiar numbers on it.
" Our old apartment...why're we here?" i asked looking up at him while he unlocked the door.
" Cmere" he said grabbing my hand pulling me in
As soon as we stepped in we were greeted with a huge fort covering the whole room. Jack held my hand tightly and pulled me into the opening.
I gasped looking around
The sheets were nailed or tacked to the walls and ceiling. Our old Polaroid pictures were hung up around from little strings. Christmas lights were hung from corner to corner...
There was a square table in the middle with a white table cloth illuminated by some type of light under the table.
The area around the table was covered in red rose petals.
" Take a seat...i'll be right back" he said kissing my cheek and jogging off out of the fort where the kitchen is.
I bit my lip walking over to the table and taking a seat.
There were empty plates and glasses in front of me and a full bottle of wine in the middle covered in rose petals.
I smiled to myself look around at all the effort Jack put into this after our conversation last night...He's trying to fix things as best as he can and i respect that...
" Ok...Your favorite Chicken Parmesan Pasta" Jack sweetly smiled coming out with a cute little cart with a pot tray on it.
I giggled watching him act all snooty and boujee like at one of those expensive restaurants.
" here you go beautiful lady..." he smiled placing a plate of pasta in front of me.
" Thank you" i sweetly smiled watching him pour us both a glass of wine before he took his seat.
" You really went all out...this is amazing" i smiled looking around.
" I really tried...I want everything to be okay but i know there's a small possibility that's gonna happen after...everything i put you through over the years...I still have hope though...i wanted you to love this just incase this is the last dinner we have together as a married couple..." he said the last part softly creasing his eyebrows.
He's about to cry...
" Whatever happens...I-I still love you...and i'm so sorry that i hurt you and disappointed you and Sophia..." he stopped and took a deep shaky breathe.
Call me stupid...Call me an idiot for what i am about to do...but don't say i didn't tell you before...

I stood up and walked over to Jack...Climbing on his lap just cause.
" Do you really want this marriage to work out?...Do you want us to fix our problems and try to work it out?" I asked fixing my little sundress as i took a seat on his lap.
" Yes!...I can't lose you." he sniffled looking at me down right confused.
