It was exactly a few days before the dance. By that time Jessica and I have gotten everthing we both needed for our dress. Jessica was buzzing with excitement, wondering if Shay might ask her to the dance.
Shay is Jessica's lover. Every since that day Shay bumped into her Jessica was head over heels for the guy. Jessica went on saying that she had him in a few of her classes. I've seen him around, brown shaggy hair, hazel eyes and a nice smile. He was also smart, gaining entrance to the mall club- and was also on the chest team.
While I- was calm, but on the outside I was freaking out. Will my price charming come to the dance?
"When do you think he'll ask me?" Jessica questioned as we walked down the hallway to my locker.
I chuckled softly before returning my gaze at her. " Just don't worry about it" I gave her a reassuring smile as the bell rang, walking to Mrs.Watson second period class.
"Good Afternoon Mrs.Watson" we greeted toward her. "Good afternoon girls" she sended us a soft smile, before returning to her desk.
Mrs.Watson was a sweet old lady. She was actually the nicest out of all the teachers here. Her soft blond hair stopping at her shoulders, her emerlad almond eyes, and soft pumped pink lips, she was loving. She was also one of the teachers that were actually married.
The second bell rang, signalling for the tardy bell. Mrs.Watson was walking to the door when in came Carter. He had his bag swing on his shoulder as Mrs.Watson greeted a good afternoon to him. As he replied he sended her a soft sweet smile and walked down in the aisle trying to find an empty seat. I looked around till I found out that their was one empty seat.. and it was by me.
I groanded softly then thought of something. I placed my bag on the empty seat beside me.
"Excuse me?" It was Carter's voice. I turned to him, he was wearing a black v-neck shirt and dark jeans. "Is this seat taken?" he asked.
"Yep" as I popped the 'P' at the end, before smiling at him, I turned from him and focused my attention to Mrs.Watson.
"Today class . . . " as she grab a marker and began to write on the board. That's when I smelled it.
It was Carter's scent. That's when I knew he was sitting right by me. I turned to see him sitting down and my bag on the floor. I rolled my eyes angrily. Inhaling deeply and catching a sniff on his scent, it was . . Axe. It smelled like chocolate. . .
I hate Jake, I swear if he knew about my obsession with chocolate . .
Through the day I kept inhaling and exhaling deeply. Nearly at the end of class, I hadn't realize that Carter was leaning right beside me. I hadn't realize that he was right by me, when his scent caught my nose.
Mrs.Watson cleared her throat gaining the few of the student's attention. In her hand was a stack of papers.
"You know Mill if you keep smelling my Cologne then I won't have anymore left for myself." he gave me a smirk before the bell rang signally that it was lunch time.
Mrs.Watson passed out a few papers. "This is you're homework, it's due when you come back to class" she gave us all a glare, before the students exited the classroom.
My tummy rumbled. I hadn't ate since morning, leaving with nothing in my bag. Not even chips.
I groaned angrily in hunger. I turn to my side and saw Jessica leaning against the wall with the same gaze. I snapped my fingers by her face, and she shook her head looking at my clumsily. I grinned and we walked together to lunch. We went in the line and got out food. Coming back with pasta, and bits of chicken and a drink we sat down.
"When do you think he'll ask me Mill?" she groaned impatiently. I rolled my eyes playfully. "Don't stress" I gave her a reassuring smile. She gave me back a small smile, before shifting to her seat and looking at someone behind me.
Curisoity go the best of me, I turned to see Shay walking toward us. He was wearing a white v'neck shirt with a black vest and faded jeans. In his hands was his math book.
"Hey Jen" he gave her a smile and nodded down at me. Letting out a smile, I went back to twirling my fork and placed the dangling noodle in my mouth. I closed my eyes and let out a small moan. I was so hungry. I opened my eyes to see Shay looking at me weirdly and Jennifer trying not to laugh.
I blushed and laughed. "I haven't ate since morning. So don't judge me" I let out a shy smile.
I looked up from my food and saw Carter sitting his crew. In Jake's crew was Lloyd, Shane, and Dan. All sexy and hot. Lloyd was the sweet one, shaggy blond hair, a dimple on one side, he was built and played on our local basketball team.
Shane was the one you should look out for. His eyes-also you could get lost it. His hair was short, stopping by his ears, his hair was dark brown. His style was all about beanies. Which he look compeltly hot in, also his ears was pierce! Major plus. He was also tan and built.
Dan, he's been in jail twice, but comes out a free man. His dad is a great lawyer , but at the end he gets scream at but still maintains the 'bad boy' role. He was tan and built-same as Shane and Lloyd. He was a dark haired, dark-eyed beauty that all the ladies fell in love with.
I felt Carter's gaze on me, and I looked at him unitl I felt uncomfortable.
"Hey Jen?" I slowly turned around and saw Shay was looking at Jessica with love, and Jennifer looked at him smiling cheerfully as always. "Yea?"as she looked up from her pasta. "Um. . . "he said looking around anywhere expect at her.
He got up and stood on one knee.I looked at Jennifer's expression, she looked like she was gonna faint.
"Would you like to go to prom with me?" as he got out a white corsage.
She blushed madly before bitting her lip and nodded her head like an idot. He laughing nervouosly, before giving her the corsage and giving her a kiss on the cheek. I screamed "Aww" in my head and smiled at them.
How Jessica longed for this moment . .
After the whole 'proposing' thing, I went to my locker tro grab my books and was about to head off to the library when I saw Lauren laughing about something. She stop mid-way when she saw me. "Hello trash" giving me a smile.
I laughed, "Oh we're talking about you right?"
"I can't believe Nick asked you to the dance. Out of every girl in the whole school he choose a pathetic lonely ugly book nerd." she looked at me with so much envy.
"I mean I'm way prettier then you, more hotter then you, more likeable, more sweet and smarter then you." she began to walk toward me, with a smirk on her face.
"Smart? Aren't all blond's stupid?" I said harshly, where she nearly land a smack on my face, before I caught it and twisted it, she winced at the pain and took back her hand holding it.
I left her there bewildered before heading to the library.
I walked farther deep in the library till I found a comfory spot and sat down. Bringing the headphones to my ear, I played " I wanna know you " by Hannah Montana Feat. David Archuleta.
When I saw you over there, I didn't mean to stare, But my mind was everywhere, I wanna know you.

I softly hummed to the tone as I closed my eyes.

I stopped when I heard a book drop in front of me. I looked down to see a pair of shoes. I slowly looked up as when the figure decided to show himself.
"James?"

A/N:
This chapter was extremely long ! I actually was typing around 3 pages yesterday and before you knew it the computer decided "Hey, why not freeze ?" and it did ! I lost all my work and had to started over again. Booo! But who cares? Enjoy my luves :)
