Y/N's P.O.V
"SHAWN!" I screamed sitting up panting.
I could feel the sweat in my hair and shivered. My nightmare felt more real than ever before. Grabbing my phone I checked the time and saw it was only 10pm. Opening my phone I hit the call button and waited for it to ring a few times.
"Y/N? are you okay?" Shawn asked.
"kind of. I had a nightmare" I said.
Mentally cursing myself because now that I said it out loud I sounded childish.
"Stay where you are i'm coming over!" he said.
"okay my mom is still up i'll just let her know your coming"
"okay! see you soon Y/N"
"see ya" I said hanging up.
Setting my phone back on the nightstand I left my room and walked up the stairs to tell my mom. She was usually okay with Shawn staying over and didn't mind but this time she seemed a little unsure about it.
"Why do you seem unsure mom" I asked.
"because of what happened last time? You don't remember?" she said.
"uh no I don't"
"he tried to stab you remember?"
Squinting my eyes at my mom I just shook my head and went to the door opening it when I saw Shawn standing there.
"Hi baby" he said pulling me into a tight hug.
I let him go and shut the door. Saying goodnight to my mom we went back downstairs and into my room. Smiling back at Shawn we went into my bed and snuggled up.
"my mom was being so weird upstairs!" I laughed.
"oh really?"
"yeah she said last time you were here you tried to stab me!" I said laughed.
"she'd be right" Shawn laughed driving a steak knife into me.
Waking up I was patting the sheets with my hands to try and find something to bring me back to reality. All of a sudden the lights flicked on and I saw Shawn sitting next to me.
"Are you okay baby?" he asked pulling me into him.
"Uh I think so? I just had a nightmare" I said.
"ah that's not good! You shouldn't watch scary movies before bed!" he laughed a little.
"yeah I guess your right!" I smiled.
He pulled us back down and under the covers letting me lean my head on his chest he ran his fingers along my back while singing to me.
