"First, there were the Daleks. And then, there was a man and woman who fought them. And then, in time, they died. There are a few, of course, who believe these two somehow survived, and that one day they will return. For both our sakes, dearest Hannah, we must hope these stories are true" a robed figure wearing high heels turns to the two shadows walking inside the eyepiece of the statue.
"We got your message. Not many people can do that. Send us messages" {Y/N} says, her hands behind her back.
"I have a daughter, Hannah. She's in a Dalek prison camp. They say you two can help."
"Do they? I wish they'd stop. I love your choice of meeting place" {Y/N} replies as the Doctor stands behind her.
"They said I'd have to intrigue you two" {Y/N} stalks towards the women.
"Skaro. The original planet of the Daleks. Look at the state of it. Who told you about us?"
"Does it matter?"
"Maybe not, but you're very well informed," the Doctor says.
"If Hannah's in a Dalek prison camp, tell us, why aren't you?" {Y/N} questions.
"I escaped" {Y/N} chuckles.
"No. Nobody escapes the Dalek camps. You're very cold" {Y/N} says touching the women's hand.
"What's wrong?"
"It's a trap" {Y/N} mutters, walking back to the Doctor.
"What is?"
"You are, and you don't even know it" {Y/N} replies, the two Time Lords back away as a Dalek eyepiece comes out of the woman's forehead, then a gun out of her right palm, and shoots them, a Dalek saucer appears in the sky.
"The Doctor and {Y/N} are acquired!"
*Time skip*
Amy is modelling for the cameras in a stately home when the Personal Assistant gestures to her.
"I'll just be a minute."
"Your husband is here."
"Hmm. I don't have a husband."
"Oh, well, apparently you still do" Amy walks into the dressing room.
"You have to sign these" Rory says.
"And then we're not married?"
"Just like magic" Amy signs, the papers.
"Can't chat. Working."
"Really? Thought you were just pouting at a camera."
"Rory?" Rory leaves and the make-up artist enters. One of the bulbs on the makeup dresser is flashing.
"Sorry, love. Was I interrupting?"
"No."
"Gosh, look at you. You've gone so pale. Come on, take a seat. We'll soon sort that out" instead the make-up artist sprouts a Dalek eyepiece.
"Amelia Pond is acquired!" Rory gets onto a bus.
"Cheers" he takes a seat. The bus driver stares at him in his mirror, then a Dalek eyepiece grows from his forehead. The bus is filled with white light.
"Rory Williams is acquired!"
*Time skip*
Rory wakes up on the floor of a circular room. Amy is standing nearby.
"Where are we?" Amy nods towards the window, he gets up and looks out. There is a fleet of Dalek saucers outside "so how much trouble are we in?" the door opens and a Dalek enters.
"How much trouble, Mister Pond?" the Doctor asks, he and {Y/N} are under escort.
"Out of ten? Eleven" {Y/N} says, the ceiling opens and the floor rises, lifting them into a large domed area with a multitude of Daleks in tiers around them, and the White Supreme Dalek nearby, along with an organic Dalek and the TARDIS.
"Where are we? A spaceship, right?" Amy asks.
"Not just any spaceship," the Doctor says.
"The Parliament of the Daleks. Be brave" {Y/N} adds.
"What do we do?"
"Make them remember you. Well, come on then. You've got us. What are you waiting for? At long last, it's Christmas! Here we are!" the Doctor shouts, holding up his and {Y/N}'s intertwined hands, the Doctor closes his eyes tight. The organic Dalek speaks.
"Save us. You will both save us" the Doctor and {Y/N} turn.
"We'll what?" {Y/N} asks.
"You will both save the Daleks."
"Save the Daleks. Save the Daleks. Save the Daleks. Save the Daleks. Save the Daleks. Save the Daleks. Save the Daleks."
"Well," the Doctor says looking at {Y/N}.
"Save the Daleks."
"This is new."
*Room*
A musical box plays Carmen Suite NO. 2 as a young brunette nails planks over the round window. It is a neat room with a hammock and a microwave.
"Day three six three. The terror continues. Also, made another soufflé, very nearly. Check defences. They came again last night. Still always at night. Maybe they're vampires. Oh, and it's my mum's birthday. Happy birthday, mum. I did make you a soufflé, but it was too beautiful to live."
"You will let us enter! We will enter! We will enter!" the young female turns up the volume on Carmen. Toreador blasts out.
*Parliament*
"What are they doing?" Rory says, as {Y/N} and the Doctor pace back and forth.
"They've chosen the most defendable area in the room, counted all the Daleks, counted all the exits, and now their calculating the exact distance we're standing apart and starting to worry. Oh, and look at him frowning now" Amy nods towards the Doctor, "something's wrong with Amy and Rory, and who's going to fix it? And she straightens her bow tie" {Y/N} does exactly that.
"We have arrived."
"Arrived where?" {Y/N} asks.
"{Y/N}, Doctor."
"The Prime Minister will speak with you now."
"Do you remember who you were before they emptied you out and turned you into their puppet?" the Doctor asks.
"My memories are only reactivated if they are required to facilitate cover or disguise."
"You had a daughter."
"I know. I've read my file" {Y/N} and the Doctor walk up to the Prime Minister, who is the organic Dalek.
"Well?" {Y/N} asks.
"What do you two know of the Dalek Asylum?"
"According to legend, you have a dumping ground. A planet where you lock up all the Daleks that go wrong. The battle-scarred, the insane, the ones even you can't control. It's never made any sense to us" {Y/N} mutters.
"Why not?"
"Because you'd just kill them," the Doctor says.
"It is offensive to us to extinguish such divine hatred."
"Offensive?"
"Does it surprise you two to know the Daleks have a concept of beauty?"
"We thought you'd run out of ways to make us sick, but hello again. You think hatred is beautiful?"
"Perhaps that is why we have never been able to kill you both" a hole opens in the middle of the floor. The Doctor and {Y/N} walk back to it. A planet is visible.
"The Asylum. It occupies the entire planet, right to the core."
"How many Daleks are in there?" {Y/N} asks.
"A count has not been made. Millions, certainly."
"All still alive?"
"It has to be assumed. The Asylum is fully automated. Supervision is not required."
"Armed?" Amy asks.
"The Daleks are always armed."
"What colour?" everyone looks at Rory "I'm sorry, there weren't any good questions left."
"This signal is being received from the very heart of the Asylum" Carmen comes over the speakers.
"What is the noise? Explain. Explain!"
"Er, it's me," the Doctor says.
"Sorry, what?" Rory asks.
"It's me, playing the triangle. Ok, I got buried in the mix. Carmen. Lovely show. Someone's transmitting this. Have you considered tracking back the signal and talking to them? He asked the Daleks" the Doctor looks around.
"Hello? Hello? Carmen?" {Y/N} asks "hello?"
"Come in. Come in. Come in, Carmen?" the Doctor asks.
"Hello! Yes, yes, sorry. Do you read me?"
"Yes, reading you loud and clear. Identify, yourself and report your status" {Y/N} says.
"Hello. Are you real? Are you actually, properly, real?"
"Yes, confirmed. Actually, properly, real."
"Oswin Oswald, junior entertainment officer, Starship Alaska. Current status crashed and shipwrecked somewhere not nice. Been here a year, rest of the crew missing. Provisions good but keen to move on."
"A year? Are you ok? Are you under attack?" the Doctor asks.
"Some local lifeforms. Been keeping them out" Oswin replies.
"Do you know what those lifeforms are?" {Y/N} asks.
"I know a Dalek when I hear one, yeah."
"What have you been doing on your own against the Daleks for a year?"
"Making soufflés?"
"Soufflés? Against the Daleks? Where'd you get the milk?" the Doctor asks.
"This conversation is irrelevant."
"No, it isn't" the Doctor replies "because a starliner has crashed into your Asylum, and someone's got in. And if someone can get in, then everything can get out. A tsunami of insane Daleks. Even you don't want that."
"The Asylum must be cleansed."
"Then why is it still here? You've enough firepower on this ship to blast it out of the sky" {Y/N} says.
"The Asylum forcefield is impenetrable."
"Turn it off."
"It can only be turned off from within the Asylum."
"A small taskforce could sneak through a forcefield. Send in a couple of Daleks. Oh" the Doctor starts clapping "oh. Oh, that's good. That's brilliant. You're all too scared to go down there. Not one of you will go, so tell me, what do the Daleks do when they're too scared?"
"The Predator of the Daleks will be deployed."
"You don't have a Predator, and even if you did, why would they turn off a forcefield for you?"
"Because you will have no other means of escape."
"May I clarify? The Predator is the Dalek's word for you two."
"Us? Us?"
"You two will need this. It will protect you from the nanocloud" two humanoids put a wristband on the Doctor and {Y/N}'s wrists.
"The what? The nano what?" {Y/N} asks.
"The gravity beam will convey you both close to the source of the transmission. You must find a way to deactivate the forcefield from there."
"You're going to fire us at a planet? That's your plan? We get fired at a planet and expected to fix it?" {Y/N} asks.
"In fairness, that is slightly your M O" Rory speaks up.
"Don't be fair to the Daleks when they're firing us at a planet" the Doctor says, Rory and Amy have wristbands put on them, too.
"What do you want with them?" {Y/N} asks.
"It is known the Doctor and {Y/N} require companions."
"Oh, brilliant. Good oh" Rory says.
"Don't worry. We'll get through this, we promise. Don't be scared" {Y/N} says.
"Scared? Who's scared. Geronimo" Amy says.
"Ha! Oi!" {Y/N} shouts as all four get pushed into the gravity beam, they all scream.
"Wrong way up! Wrong way up!" Rory plummets past the Doctor, {Y/N} and Amy, head first.
"Rory!" Amy shouts the beam splits into four.
