---Dust's POV----
Blue had fallen asleep again.
He was curled up in my arms, his head nuzzled into my chest.
The cutest thing about it though, was the fact that in his sleep, knowingly or unknowingly I'm not sure, he'd gripped onto my hand with one of his, pulling it to his chest and refusing to let go.
I was contenting myself by stroking the top of his skull, loving the satisfied purrs that he made. (cat life)
Blue shifted in his sleep, rolling over and falling off my lap onto the other side of the sofa.
The action caused him to wake up, looking about in confusion.
I chuckled and pulled him back onto my lap, smiling as he focused his vision on me. He giggled and poked my shoulder.
I glanced at him questioningly but he only laughed in response, nuzzling his head into my shoulder.
I hugged him to my chest, kissing the top of his head.
Blue squeaked and gripped me tighter, burying his face out of sight.
I chuckled and kissed the top of his skull again, this time making it last a little longer.
Blue pushed his face away from my shoulder and looked up at me, a flustered and annoyed expression on his face.
"Stop it." He ordered, flushing blue as I licked my teeth.
"Stop what Baby Blue?" I whispered, making him even more flustered.
"Y-You know what you did." He pouted, crossing his arms over his chest.
I laughed at his reaction. "I really don't know what I did. Can you tell me?"
Blue's face contorted into thought as he thought of a way to describe what i had done.
"Umm, You......Ummmmmmm. Forget it." He mumbled, flushing blue and looking to the side.
"Okay." I said simply, leaning back into the sofa.
Blue groaned and flopped on top of me, letting out a little sigh of satisfaction as he made himself comfortable.
I hummed and reached out for the book next to me, randomly opening at a random page ( XD ) and focusing on a random page.
'Welcome to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.'
I snapped the book shut.
Nope, not into that story.
Blue shifted on my lap and slipped off, stretching and letting out a yawn.
I kept Blue in the corner of my vision as a flipped the book around to study the blurb.
I'm my definite 'excitement' to see what this book was about, I failed to notice Horror and Lust enter the room.
Well, when I say 'enter' I mean that their still halfway through a make out session, Horror pushed Lust up against the wall closest to them, smirking into the kiss.
I looked over at Blue, he was also watching them, I sighed, dropping the book and reaching down to grab Blue, covering his eyes.
He whined, trying to squirm out of my grip.
"I don't think so Blue." I muttered, pulling him on my lap and making sure that he couldn't see.
"Whyyyyy?" He whined, twisting round so that he faced me.
"Because." I said, not offering anything more in explanation.
Blue huffed, hitting his head on my chest in annoyance.
I chuckled, uncovering his eyes seeing as he's facing me and not whats going on behind him.
I looked at him for a minute, taking in the adorable pissed off expression and his slightly blue tinted cheeks.
"C'mon Bluey." I sighed, scooping him into my arms and picking him up. "Let's leave them to do their 'thing'."
Blue snuggled up to my chest, not protesting against what I'd said.
I walked out of the room, leaving Horror and Lust as they both continued to fiercely make out with each other.
I shut the door behind me, for privacys sake.
I was just thinking of how cooperate Blue was being when he suddenly squirmed right out of my grip. I reached out to grab him but I missed, tripping and falling flat on my face.
I scrambled to my feet and chased after him, not planning on playing hide n' seek in this massive mansion.
He dashed round a corner and I followed quickly behind him, panicking a little when I saw he was headed for the main entrance.
The door was ever-so-slightly open and I swore under my breath as Blue slipped through the gap, giggling all the while.
I slipped out after him in time to see him jump through a gap in the main gate.
I skidded to a stop, hoping he'd turn back and stop running.
Nope.
I groaned and went to chase after him when I saw the familiar figure of Nightmare stood over by the edge of the walled garden. He seemed to be talking to Cross, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind a quick interruption.
I teleported next to the two of them, ignoring their suddenly embarrassment expressions as they noticed my arrival.
"Hey, Umm Nightmare." I started, looking quickly back over my shoulder. "So, just out of interest, what kind of creatures are there in this land that could potentially kill a small nieve skeleton?"
He looked at me like I was crazy before glancing at Cross and shrugging.
"Well, there's the vines, obviously, Wolves, corrupt predators, more dangerous plants, etc......why?"
"ThatsAllINeededThanksBye!!!!!" I rushed, teleporting outside if the walled garden and focused my vision on the blue spec in the distance.
"The things I do for you Blue." I muttered.
I teleported after him, lunging forwards to tackle him. But he jumped out of the way letting out a loud giggle and continued to run.....towards the forest.......
"BLUE NO!" I yelled, tripping after him.
If he ran into that forest.... We'd have problems.
But of course he ignored me.
I felt my 'stomach' drop as he disappeared through the trees.
I'm so dead -correction- We're so dead.
I dashed into the woods after him, looking out for any signs of those vines. None yet.
"Blue?" I called.
No response.
"Why me?" I muttered.
"Why couldn't Cross suddenly run away and Nightmare could search for him. Or Lust ran off and Horror would be risking his life. But no, it has to be me."
I stopped, looking round for any signs of the Blue skeleton, but no trace.
I kneeled on the ground, tracing the footprints with my finger.
That's when I heard a giggle.
I immediately stood up and started running in that direction, hoping to catch up with Blue.
I skidded down the path, praying Blue had stopped running, as I rounded a giant tree I froze.
I didn't dare move.
Blue was there, sat in the middle of the path looking like he didn't have a care in the world.
But that's not what made me stop.
Behind him, sat a giant wolf.
It was staring right at me. With soulless eyes.
I gulped and took a step closer. The wolf growled and bared its teeth at me, they were big, and stained with blood.
I scanned it up and down, assessing how much sit we were in right now.
Its fur seemed pretty fluffy and would have looked cute if not for the fact that it was stained yellow with dried blood.
I forced myself not to gag as I noticed the bits of guts and dead animals stuck into its fur.
Yeah, we're in real deep shit.
"Nice Wolf." I whispered, taking another step forwards.
That's when Blue noticed me, I tensed as he turned around, the movement making the wolf growl and stare at Blue.
"Blue!" I hissed. "Get away from that thing!"
He whined and shuffled closer to the wolf. "But Wolfie's not doing anything wrong."
Great. He's already named it.
What do I do now?
"Umm, Blue." I called softly. "We need to go back now, its time for Lunch."
Blue looked at me thoughtfully, not sure if he should go with me or not.
I panicked as the wolf yawned, showing me its large canines again, just reminding me of how it could easily bite Blue's head off with one quick snap.
I summoned a sharpened bone attack and held it to my side.
The wolf eyed it, growling at me.
I raised it slowly, not wanting to make any sudden moves.
The wolf stood up, hackles raised and fangs bared.
I froze and the wolf relaxed, that's when I thew it.
I missed and speared the ground next to it, missing its paw by an inch.
I ran forward, snatching Blue up into my arms and booked it.
I teleported to the side as it lunged at me, biting the air.
Trees flashed past as I teleported to the edge of the forest, I stopped, panting.
"Wolfie!" Blue called.
Shit.
I continued to run, teleporting now and then, racing to get back to the mansion.
As it came into view I put in a burst of speed, making a beeline for the gates.
"GUUUYYYYYSSSSSS!!!!" I yelled as I ran, hoping that they would come out and help me.
Relief flooded me as I saw the figures of Nightmare and Cross stood at the gate.
They had obviously noticed the giant wolf chasing be because they had both readied to attack, knives and tentacles at the ready.
I leaped through the gap in the gate, wincing at the sound of the wolf slamming into it behind me.
I whipped around to see it pressed up against the rusted iron, its claws actually denting the old metal.
Nightmare and Cross both lunged at it, not actually hitting it, but just threatening.
The wolf eventually growled, pushing off the gates and slunk away, giving me one last glare before bounding off into the land of ash once more.
"Man, what did you do?" Nightmare asked, watching the wolf run off.
"Don't worry." I muttered. "Its all good now."
Nightmare shrugged and grabbed hold of Cross' arm, dragging him back into the mansion.
I followed them, walking into the living room.
All the others were there, sat with their designated couples.
Error noticed me and laughed.
"Wow, what happened to you?"
I laughed, collapsing on another sofa, Blue in my arms.
"Many things mate. Many things."
