"Sir! Angel incoming."
"And here."
"Keep visual contact. Do not let it move" Octavian says.
"Come on, come on, come on. Wakey, wakey. She watched an Angel climb out of the screen. She stared at the Angel and, and..." the Doctor slaps his palm against his forehead.
"The image of an Angel is an Angel," Amy says.
"A living mental image in a living human mind. But we stare at them to stop them getting closer. We don't even blink, and that is exactly what they want. Because as long as our eyes are open, they can climb inside. There's an Angel in her mind" {Y/N} says, the Doctor covers his mouth while {Y/N} and River look down at Amy, Amy suddenly clutches onto {Y/N}'s hand.
"Three. {Y/N}, it's coming. I can feel it. I'm going to die" Amy says.
"Please just shut up. I'm thinking. Now, counting. What's that about? Bob, why are they making her count?" the Doctor asks.
"To make her afraid, sir."
"Ok, but why? What for?"
"For fun, sir" the Doctor throws the communicator away in annoyance.
"{Y/N}, what's happening to me? Explain" Amy says.
"Inside your head, in the vision center of your brain, there's an Angel. It's like there's a screen, a virtual screen inside your mind and the Angel is climbing out of it, and it's coming to shut you off" {Y/N} says.
"Then what I do?" Amy asks.
"If it was a real screen, what would we do? We'd pull the plug. We'd kill the power. But we can't just knock her out, the Angel would just take over" the Doctor says.
"Then what? Quickly" River says.
"We've got to shut down the vision center of her brain. We've got to pull the plug. Starve the Angel" {Y/N} says using her free hand to gesture.
"{Y/N}, Doctor, she's got seconds," River says.
"How would you starve your lungs?" the Doctor asks pointing at River.
"I'd stop breathing."
"Amy, close your eyes" {Y/N} says.
"No. No, I don't want to" Amy says her grip tightening on {Y/N}'s hand.
"Good, because that's not you, that's the Angel inside you. It's afraid. Do it. Close your eyes" {Y/N} says stroking some of Amy's hair back from her face. Amy squeezes her eyes shut. The med scanner changes from red to green.
"She's normalising. Oh, you did it. You did it" River says hugging {Y/N} who chuckles.
"Sir? Two more incoming."
"Three more over here."
"Still weak. Dangerous to move her" River says, as they help Amy sit up.
"So, can I open my eyes now?" Amy asks no longer holding onto {Y/N}'s hand.
"Amy, listen to me. If you open your eyes now for more than a second, you will die. The Angel is still inside you. We haven't stopped it, we've just sort of paused it. You've used up your countdown. You cannot open your eyes" {Y/N} says.
"Doctor, {Y/N}, we're too exposed here. We have to move on."
"We're too exposed everywhere. And Amy can't move. And anyway, that's not the plan" the Doctor says.
"There's a plan?" River asks.
"I don't know yet. I haven't finished talking. Right! Father, you and your Clerics, you're going to stay here, look after Amy" the Doctor says "if anything happens to her, I'll hold every single one of you personally responsible, twice. River, you, {Y/N} and myself, we're going to find the Primary Flight Deck which is..." he licks his finger and holds it up "a quarter of a mile straight ahead, and from there we're going to stabilise the wreckage, stop the Angels, and cure Amy."
"How?" River asks.
"We'll do a thing" {Y/N} says pointing at the Doctor and herself.
"What thing?"
"I don't know. It's a thing in progress. Respect the thing. Moving out!" {Y/N} says.
"{Y/N}, Doctor, I'm coming with you. My Clerics will look after Miss Pond. These are my best men. They'd lay down their lives for her protection."
"We don't need you," the Doctor says.
"I don't care. Where Doctor Song goes, I go" Octavian says.
"What?" the Doctor asks, River walks over "you two engaged or something?"
"Yes, in a manner of speaking" {Y/N} looks at River who shrugs "Marco, you're in charge till I get back."
"Sir."
"{Y/N}? Doctor? Please, can't I come with you?" Amy asks.
"You'd slow us down, Miss Pond," Octavian sas.
"I don't want to sound selfish, but you'd really speed me up," Amy says.
"You'll be safer here. We can't protect you on the move. We'll be back for you soon as we can, I promise" {Y/N} says sitting beside Amy.
"You always say that."
"We always come back. Good luck, everyone. Behave. Do not let that girl open her eyes. And keep watching the forest. Stop those Angels advancing. Amy, later. River, going to need your computer!" {Y/N} says, again patting Amy on the head and moving off.
"Yeah. Later" Amy replies, {Y/N} places her hands over Amy's.
"Amy, you need to start trusting us. It's never been more important" {Y/N} says.
"But you two don't always tell me the truth," Amy says.
"If we always told you the truth, we wouldn't need you to trust us" {Y/N} says.
"{Y/N}, the crack in my wall. How can it be here?"
"I don't know yet, but me and the Doctor are working it out. Now, listen. Remember what we told you when you were seven?"
"What did you tell me?"
"No. No, that's not the point. You have to remember."
"Remember what?" {Y/N} places a kiss on Amy's forehead and leaves "{Y/N}? {Y/N}?" {Y/N} catches up with Octavian, the Doctor, and River, while the Doctor inputs the readings from his sonic screwdriver into River's mini-computer.
"What's that?" River asks.
"Er, readings from a crack in the wall," the Doctor says.
"How can a crack in the wall be the end of the universe?" River asks.
"Don't know, but here's what we think. One day there's going to be a very big bang. So, big every moment in history, past and future, will crack" {Y/N} says.
"Is that possible? How?" River asks.
"How can you be engaged, in a manner of speaking?" {Y/N} asks.
"Well, sucker for a man in uniform" River smiles, {Y/N} squints.
"Doctor Song's in my personal custody. I released her from the Stormcage Containment Facility four days ago and I am legally responsible for her until she's accomplished her mission and earned her pardon. Just so we understand each other" Octavian says.
"You were in Stormcage?" {Y/N} asks the computer chirps.
"What? What is that?" River asks.
"The date. The date of the explosion, where the crack begins" the Doctor says.
"And for those of us who can't read the base code of the universe?" River asks, 26 06 2010 shows up on the computer.
"Amy's time," the Doctor says.
"It doesn't open it from here, but it's the Primary Flight Deck. This has got to be a service hatch or something" Octavian says.
"Hurry up and open it. Time's running out" River says.
"What? What did you say? Time's running out, is that what you said?" {Y/N} asks.
"Yeah. I just meant..."
"I know what you meant. Hush. But what if it could?" {Y/N} says.
"What if what could?"
"Time. What if time could run out?" the Doctor says.
"Got it," Octavian says.
"Cracks. Cracks in time. Time running out. No, couldn't be. Couldn't be. But how is a duck pond a duck pond if there aren't any ducks?" the Doctor asks.
"And she didn't recognise the Daleks. Ok, time can shift. Time can change. Time can be rewritten. Ah. Oh!" {Y/N} says.
"Doctor Song, get through, now. Doctor? {Y/N}?" Octavian asks.
"Time can be unwritten" the Doctor and {Y/N} say making a circular motion with their index fingers.
"It's been happening all around us and we haven't even noticed," the Doctor says.
"Doctor, {Y/N}, we have to move," Octavian says.
"The CyberKing. A giant Cyberman walks over all of Victorian London and no one remembers" {Y/N} says.
"We have to move it. The Angels could be here any second" Octavian says.
"Never mind the Angels. There's worse here than Angels" the Doctor says, an Angel gets its arm around Octavian's throat.
"I beg to differ, sir" the Doctor and {Y/N} turn.
"Let him go" {Y/N} says.
