Y/N's P.O.V
Walking into my apartment after a long day in the studio I saw my boyfriend of five years lying on the couch.
"Shawn! What did you do today?" I asked.
"not much! Just hung out and chilled I guess!" he smiled.
"okay!" I laughed. "This sunday is the AMA's are you coming with me?" I asked.
"Yeah sure!"
"alright. It's not going to be like last time is it?"
"no"
Remembering the last award show I took him to I shook my head. Shawn had froze up on the carpet and got nervous in front of all the cameras.
Needless to say my manager had to accept my award because me and Shawn had to go home early.
"I'm ordering take out. Anything special you want?" I asked.
"i'm cool with anything, maybe though chinese food sounds good"
"okay, i'll order"

Walking out of the vehicle I looked up and smiled. This is where I belonged. I was always most happy walking the carpets at award shows.
"Y/N, you have thirty minutes on the carpet and then they need you inside to set you up for your performance" Steve my manger said.
"okay" I smiled.
Grabbing Shawn's hand he followed me into the carpet. Everyone was yelling my name and all the camera flashes were going off. Every once in a while I would check up on Shawn to make sure he was okay.
Walking inside the building Shawn was taken to our seats by Steve. I was then taken backstage by Stacey my performance coordinator.
"Okay so Y/N tonight your singing your smash hit (insert song here) you'll perform thank the crowd then get off, change and go sit with Shawn"
"alright, what time do I go on?"
"in about a hour"
"okay"
I followed Stacey to the makeup/change room. Grabbing my outfit I put it on and sat in the chair waiting for my hair and makeup to be done.
Stepping on to the stage everyone started screaming and yelling.
The backing track started playing for (insert song)
Singing it I was walking around trying to find Shawn. I couldn't see him so I just brushed that out of my mind and kept on performing.
When the song came to an end I thanked the crowd like Stacey told me to. Walking off I took my ear pieces out and went to change.
Going out to find Stacey I found Shawn instead.
"Hey baby! What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I couldn't see from where we were sitting so I snuck to the side of the stage!"
"ah! your so cute!"
Grabbing his hand I pulled him closer to me. Putting my hand on his cheek I started leaning in. Shawn then connected our lips and smiled into the kiss.
"well we should probably go sit before Steve gets made at us!" Shawn smirked.
"yeah!" I smiled up at him.
He grabbed my hand and lead me back to where we were sitting.
