A/n: I kind of had this in my head, so sorry if it's really bad. I just need this to get back into the jist of things.

Mark's eyes flickered towards his phone screen every once and a while. His heart beat quickened whenever his phone screen lit up, but it never had the outcome or text that he wanted. He just hopelessly waited and waited for that certain person to send a text, a phone call, or even mention him in their post. Jaemin watched Mark curiously. He couldn't put his finger on it even if he tried, but Mark seemed to be waiting for something.
"Hey Mark-" Jeno walked through the door, holding food, but Mark's phone went off, causing Mark to quickly shoot towards his phone, grabbing it and taking it off the charger.
"Hello!?" Mark quickly answers, the excitement in his features and voice quickly disappearing as soon as it came. "Oh. Yeah. What? No, it's nothing, just waiting on a call." Mark muttered, walking out of the room to continue his phone call somewhere else. Jeno looked at Jaemin, who just shrugged.
"Well, can you help me with the food?"

"What's gotten your panties in a twist?" Jisung mutters, watching Mark continuously watch over his phone. Renjun glared at Jisung, whispering for him to shut up and eat his food, in which he did.
"Hyung, are you going to tell us why you're so worked up over-" Jeno started yet again, but Mark's phone rang. Mark quickly reached over to grab it, but Haechan got to it first.
"Hello~!" Haechan hummed, quickly walking away from the table. Mark quickly follows after.
"Donghyuck give it back!" The rest of the boys could only watch as the two best friends battle it out over the phone, Haechan, saying a small goodbye to the person on the other end of the line, then hanging out.
"First off," Haechan starts, pausing Mark in his stride over to the younger boy, "Who's (Y/n)?" The whole dorm went silent as they watched Mark's face blow into a red cherry. He tried to explain who it was, but only stutters and giggles came out of his mouth.
"Oh~?" Jisung hums, tilting his head with a small smirk on his face. "(Y/n) must be veerrryyy special to Hyung, I'm guessing~?" His tone was almost dripping with the full intention of teasing Mark.
"S-She's someone I k-know!" Mark defended himself, covering his cheeks with his large hands. Jaemin smiled, shaking his head and going back to his food.
"Whatever you say, Hyung!"
"Not you too, Jaemin!"

Throughout the whole day, Mark was just bombarded with questions from the Dreamies, especially Chenle and Jisung. He tried to escape the questions by going to the Hyung's dorm, but it seemed like it only got worse when Haechan showed up and spilled the beans.
"Come on, just tell us!" Yuta pleads, pouting and grabbing on to Mark's shoulder.
"Fine! You're all giving me a headache over this." Mark muttered, massaging his temples. Everyone tried to crowd on to the couch, but ended up half on the couch, half on the floor.
"(Y/n) is.."
"wAIT THIS IS ABOUT THEM?!" Johnny says, almost spitting out his cup of tea. He couldn't help but burst into laughter, trying to hold on to Taeil.
"Y-yes it is! Now," Mark takes a deep breath, playing with the hems of his shirt. "They're an old friend of mine, from Canada. They're coming to visit and I was waiting on a call because I was supposed to pick them u-" Mark's eyes widened, his face paling.
"You were supposed to what?" Renjun asked, watching as Mark scrambled his phone, looking at what time the call was placed.
"TWO HOURS AGO! THEY'RE GOING TO KILL ME!" Mark squeaked, pulling Johnny along with him as they walked out of the dorm. The boys watched from the window as Mark pushed Johnny into the car, before getting into the car himself.
"What happened?" WinWin asked Haechan humming.
"He was supposed to pick up (Y/n) two hours ago, but he was too busy trying to run away from us and never asked me what the phone call was about.
"...He's going to be in so much trouble."
"That's the point. Get with the program, Hyung."

(y/n) sighed, their eyes slightly drooping from how tired they were from the flight. They didn't get a one trip to Korea, noooo, they had a delay in their plane and had to take multiple other ones. Now , Mark's late and getting on their last nerves.
and who was Donghyuck?
"(Y/n)!" Mark yelled, stopping right in front of them before gasping for air, his lungs feeling as though they're on fire. (Y/n) just patted their foot against the ground, arms crossed in annoyance.
"Let's just go. I'm already having a bad day as it is." (y/n) muttered, grabbing their luggage before trudging past a sheepish Mark.
"...It's to the left, (Y/n)."
"I knew that."
The ride back was silent, the only thing being heard was Johnny's music. Johnny's eyes lingered towards Mark, who just looked out the window and sighed to himself.
"Both of you quit being sad teenagers and just talk. "Johnny breaks through the silence, stopping the car and turning towards Mark. "Mark, did you apologize to (Y/n) for making them wait for you?"
"No." Mark sighed.
"And (y/n), hi nice to meet you by the way love your jacket, did you think about mayybbbee the person who answered the phone wasn't Mark, hence why he didn't really know that you were here?"
"..I knew the person-" (Y/n) started, but Johnny just 'tsked' at them.
"Don't give me an explanation. Before you two go inside the dorms, talk it out please. I'm sure we don't want any more fighting than there already is." With that, Johnny left the two in the car, humming to himself and walking up to the dorms.
"I'm such a good mother." He hummed, locking the car and continuing on his way.
