(Lian's POV)
I woke up with a yawn to find myself, would you believe, in my room. Wonder what woke me up at this ungodly hour... Oh right! Alarm clock!
Throwing the alarm clock out the door so it'll bother Kakashi instead, I begin to get comfy again. Just five more minutes...
You know, I had a weird ass dream last night involving a giant bird. A giant bird! Can you believe it? It seemed so real as well. Wait a minute, no my dream last night involved a dictating marshmallow, not a giant bird. So...
...the giant bird was real?!
WHAT?!
Okay, that's pretty weird, also pretty awesome! Some may call it... wasome!
But hey, I better get up, I can hear the alarm clock getting smashed again the wall meaning Kakashi is up. Plus, I've got the new team try-out! Another day, another team! I wonder how long it'll take for me kicked to the next one.
When you're lazy, getting ready can be as quick as a time-skip! Just watch!

It's barely daylight, can't believe Kakashi is making us come here at five in the morning! Ridiculous. I adjust my new headband with a slight grin, knowing I look pretty cool in it. Wonder if we'll be training again today or if we'll actually be going on our first mission.
I wonder why Kakashi insisted I go ahead, I mean I guess it would look strange if we showed up at the same time. Absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he's always late and it's on purpose.
Too late I realise it is to turn back as I see my sleep deprived team-mates, yawning and groaning.
Naruto is definitely sleep-walking, Sakura looks like she at least tried to put effort into her appearance, and Sasuke is his usual bubbly self.
Despite the sleep deprivation, I can tell they're all confused as to why I'm here.
"Morning, squad!" I greet, purposely over-cheerful for a ... five-o'clock start? Holy turtle, it's way too early!
"Lian, what are you doing here?" Naruto asked, perking up a bit in my awesome presence.
I grin, strike a dramatic pose and sigh, "Well, they heard you guys needed some help in making the teams more even and so they sent the most capable - "
"I heard you got kicked out of your other teams."
I glare at Sakura. "N-No! Not exactly... Listen, half of it wasn't my fault!"
"Right, not because you're just super annoying or anything," she says rolling her eyes.
"That's it!" And so I lunge for her, ready to fight only to be stopped by Naruto, holding his hands up in defence.
"H-Hey, no need to fight, I'm sure Kakashi-sensei will show up in a second!" Naruto said, "He might not let us take the test if he sees us like this!"
Oh boy, any second? They really don't know Kakashi at all, huh.
I take a seat, knowing that we're gonna be here a while and we might as well get comfortable. Anyone for charades?
"Alright, place your bets now! How long will it be until sensei shows up?" I say, playing with a kunai knife.
Naruto was the first to reply, "Fifteen minutes!"
Sakura rolled her eyes, "No way, half an hour."
"Did neither of you not see how late he was yesterday?" Sasuke said. Hey, he speaks! "At least an hour."
I nod my head. "I'll say three."
"...three what?"
"Hours."
"What?!" Naruto and Sakura yelled. "No way!"
"Wait and see." I grinned.
Silence took over for a while, and one by one Naruto and then Sakura and then finally Sasuke all sat down.
"Isn't this sunrise just beautiful?"
"Really, Lian?"
"No, she's right! Right, Sasuke?"
"I'm right?"
"Hn..." Sasuke said, ever the blabbermouth. "So, what are you doing here?"
Rolling my eyes I turned to face him. "I thought we covered this, I'm your new teammate now." His eyes widened in horror as Naruto cheered. "What, did you think I was joking?"
"Well, you are a joke," Sakura muttered.
...ok, rude.
Now, I wish I could just let this go but...you know.
"Ah! Lian! What are you doing?!"
"Let her go!"
"Let me go, oh!"
"This ain't no Bohemian Rhapsody singalong! This is a full-on brawl!" I yelled, pulling at her hair as I sat on her back.
And that's how I guess Kakashi found us.
"Yo, sorry I'm late but - ugh..."
I ripped myself from Naruto's hold and managed to get another hit in. "Take that!"
"Leave my hair alone!" Sasuke yelled at me, grabbing my arms to remove them from his hair. Not on my watch!
"When was the last time you got it cut, man? C'mere!" It's only after I take out a kunai knife does Kakashi step in. "Oh, hey Kakashi! What time do you call this?"
"You're late!" Naruto and Sakura yell in unison.
"Sorry, but a black cat crossed my path and I had to take a long way around." Kakashi lied straight through his mask. He doesn't even look sorry even though we were left here for... 4 hours?!
I glare at Kakashi as he sets up - hey, my alarm clock! It's kind of bandaged up but it's definitely mine. Best not say anything about that though...
"So, I take it you already know Lian has been transferred to our team due to some circumstances," Kakashi said, "But let's have a quick recap of the introductions! Go!"
Naruto stepped up enthusiastically, "You know me already but I'm Naruto Uzumak, believe it!"
"I do."
"I like ramen, my hobbies are comparing ramen and playing pranks, and my dream is to become Hokage!" Naruto finished this little speech with a little adjustment of his headband.
"Next!" Kakashi called.
"Sakura Haruno! And I like um..." she glanced at Naruto? Oh wait no he's just in the way. "My hobbies are um...baking? And my dream is... AH!" she squealed so loudly and I suddenly wondered why she called Ino the pig.
"Next!" Kakashi called, suddenly sweatdropping seeing the dark aura radiating from Sasuke. Wow, who ruined his breakfast?
"I am Sasuke Uchiha. I don't particularly like much, I hate a lot of things, and I don't have a dream but a goal I will make a reality." Oh, a dramatic pause, nice. "I will avenge my clan, and kill a certain someone."
A beat of awkward silence goes by, and another, and - oh I can't take it!
"That's rough, buddy," I say, nodding my head. "Well, I'm Lian Titen! I like ramen, pranks, having fun, guns, swords, bombs, knives, shuriken, kunai knives - "
"So, a lot of weapons?" Kakashi cuts in, sweatdropping.
"Sure! I don't like it when my weapons get taken off me, I don't like screaming girls, I'm not too fond of his hair," I point at Sasuke who starts to fidget with it, "I don't particularly like your hair - "
"Why?" Kakashi asks, cutting me off again and also fidgeting with it.
I shrug, "It looks at me funny. My hobbies are getting new weapons, trying them out and training with my friends! My dream is the be the most famous, most awesome, most ultimate ninja!"
"Lian! I thought we agreed I was gonna be Hokage!" Naruto yelled, crying a river of tears.
"I don't wanna be Hokage!"
"What?! You just said you wanted to be the best!"
"I do!"
"So?!"
"Newsflash, Hokage ain't the best!"
"Shut up!" Sakura bonks us both on the head, ending a very important discussion.
"Ouch..." both Naruto and I grumble, clutching our heads.
"Thank you." Kakashi steps up. "Now, this clock is set for noon. For you to pass this test you must get one of these bells away from me." He held up two.
"Um, sensei, there are only two bells," Sakura stated.
"Very observant, many wow," I comment sarcastically. "Never would have noticed without you. What would we have done if you weren't here?"
"Lian..." Sakura growled and I grabbed her fist before she could hit me.
"Try me," I grinned, ready to strike back when Kakashi grabbed my arm.
"Enough! Now, as I was saying, anyone who doesn't get a bell by noon will be tied to that post and I'll be eating my lunch in front of you!" Kakashi said, smiling an eye-closed smile after hearing many stomaches growling.
"That's why he didn't want us to eat," Sakura muttered sadly.
"He's trying to kill us." Naruto groaned.
"Yeah..." Sasuke agreed. Wow, better take down the time and date because that may never happen again.
"Wait, you guys didn't have breakfast? The most important meal of the day?" I tutted and turned my back on them. "Fools." But I also groaned when my stomach decided to also start acting up.
"Did you eat breakfast, Lian?" Kakashi asked, knowing fine well I didn't.
I glared. So that's why he hadn't done any shopping... "No...but there was no food in the house!"
"Don't be a hypocrite then," he said making me roll my eyes. "Now, if you don't get a bell by the time this clock rings then you'll be sent back to the academy!"
"Wait - WHAT?! - You absolute ba - NO WAY! - You can't do that!" were some varies responses you could overhear from the group.
"You heard me," Kakashi said cockily, "Now, you can attack me with anything you want. Go for it."
Naruto for some reason starts laughing. "Hahaha! You couldn't even dodge a blackboard eraser! We'll kill you sensei!"
Blackboard eraser? I turn to Sasuke as if to ask 'what did I miss' but only received a shrug in response. I'll hear about it later, I guess, from either Naruto or Kakashi. Probably two very different stories.
"The weakest links are usually the loudest, so we can just ignore the loudmouth over here and let's start when - "
Naruto suddenly leapt into action! Attacking Kakashi with a kunai knife with all intent to kill after that little jab! Unfortunately for Naruto, it was only a second before the knife was now pointing right back at him. Kakashi had incapacitated him, within a second.
Now I knew my guardian was awesome but wow, to see it in action is really cool!
"I didn't say start yet," Kakashi said.
"So cool." I grinned, watching the scene play out.
"But, you did come at me with the intent to kill. How can I say this?" Another dramatic pause for effect. "I'm actually starting to like you guys."
I seen Naruto grin despite the position he was in, Sakura smiled happily and even Sasuke smirked. I rolled my eyes half-heartedly, I already knew Kakashi and I were on good terms. He's my guardian! If he didn't like me we wouldn't still be putting up with each other.
It only took Kakashi a second to notice me reaching for my waistband to quickly say, "No guns! Gun Ban! Anything else is fine, but no firearms!"
"Aww!" I pouted, taking out the gun anyway to put in my bag only to realise my mistake. "Uh oh."
"Another one?" Kakashi asked snatching the gun from my hands and inspecting it. "Any more?"
I reluctantly hand over a few more.
"Ahem."
I hand over the rest of them.
"All of them."
Okay, sorry for lying to my subconscious but I thought if I lied to myself it would be more believable that I didn't have anymore.
"Is that all of them, Lian?"
"Yes!" I pouted, crossing my arms over my chest.
Kakashi disappeared for a moment in a cloud of smoke, and I can only imagine I won't be getting them weapons back for a while...
He arrived back in a puff of smoke and announced, "Start!"
And we all took that as the signal to scatter.
Glancing around, I tried to find everyone's hiding spots.
I grinned to myself, not being able to help myself thinking 'this is gonna be fun'.
