Earlier in the day, Damian had invited everyone over to his house to study, and now, Christine was eagerly getting ready to go see her friends. Now comes the part where she actually asks to go.

"Hey dad, I'm going over to Damian's to study!" Christine yelled, poking her head out of her room.

"Oohh, Damian's, aye?" Her father asked, grinning as he threw his head back on the couch to see her. She threw her head back and groaned.

"It's not like that!" She yelled, grabbing her backpack, before walking down the hall.

"Sure." He said, turning back to his phone, still grinning. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed a green apple. She then walked to the front door, beginning to unlock it.

"Have fun on your date!" Her dad called back.

"It's not a date!" She yelled.

"Sure." He said, still grinning.

"Phoenixx, Dan, Bree, Jen, and Slade are goin' to be there!" She insisted.

"Okay, whatever helps you sleep at night." Her dad replied.

"What helps me sleep at night is a three hour YouTube video." She sarcastically replied, opening the door.

"And what's in the three hour YouTube video?" Her dad asked, as she walked out the door.

"The entire Hamilton soundtrack!" She answered, before shutting the door. She saw a limousine out front, and automatically assumed it was Damian. Phoenixx had texted her telling her they were to be picked up in a black limousine.

She skipped across the stepping stones, that her father had made for her, and walked up to the limousine. She knocked on the door, and Daniel opened it, revealing an arguing Breezy and Phoenixx, with an amused Slade looking at them. She slipped into the car, closing the door, hearing the satisfying click of the lock.

"So what's going on here?" Christine whispered to Daniel, who shook his head in response.

"An argument about Alexander Hamilton." Daniel answered, with a sigh. Christine eyes immediately brightened, and a smile tugged its way across her lips. She immediately got excited, and leaned in a little, trying to catch the words of the argument. The car started moving, and the argument started to cool down a bit.

"I'm just saying, it is possible John Laurens and Alexander Hamilton were gay for each other." Phoenixx stated, crossing her arms.

"As much as I support that, it can't be possible." Breezy replied, crossing her arms as well.

"How so?" Phoenixx asked, raising a brow.

"Here we go again." Jennifer mumbled, shaking her head.

"Honestly, I'm siding with Bree on this." Christine causally stated, with a shrug.

"Seriously?! What about all the letters they wrote to each other? They were super gay!" Phoenixx yelled.

"Yeah, but keep in mind we never know how they took it back then. It's like if I texted Dan saying 'I love you'. He'd never know if I meant it in a friend way or if I liked him kind of way." Christine calmly argued, crossing her arms.

"Why am I in this?" Daniel quietly mumbled, before Phoenixx started speaking.

"You don't say stuff like that and not mean it in a gay way." Phoenixx pointed out.

"Keep in mind, if you were gay back then, you were hung. So if anything did go on in that tent back in the war, they would've been reported and hung. Not even the fact that Alexander was Washington's favorite could've saved him." Christine stated, crossing her arms. Phoenixx just rolled her eyes and pouted, having been defeated. The limousine pulled up to a stop, and the familiar buzz that was felt throughout the car came to a stop, signaling that the engine had been turned off. Daniel opened the door, and Christine dramatically flopped on Jennifer.

"Carry me, since Phoenixx is probably too mad to do it!" Christine stated, earning a sigh from her friend. Jennifer got out of the car and bent down in front of the door, where Christine jumped into her back. The car pulled away once they were all out, and they stood there, staring at the mansion. Phoenixx let out a low whistle as her eyes moved along the edges of the building, taking in ever detail.

"I knew you said he was rich, but I didn't think he was this rich." Breezy stated, in awe.

"Yeah." Slade trailed off, looking around.

"If you like the outside so much, wait till you see the inside." Christine replied, shrugging a bit. They walked up to the front porch, and Breezy had the honor of ringing the doorbell. They heard it echo through the house, before the door was opened. It was opened by a butler of course, so they just walked in with out a word.

"Holy crap." Phoenixx mumbled, walking, turning around a bit, to look at everything. Christine slid off Jennifer back, he boots hitting the floor with a slight thud on the marble flooring.

"Master Damian is upstairs in the library. Ms. Parker should know where that is." The butler stated, before giving a slight nod and walking off.

"I thought you said you've only been here once." Slade stated, crossing his arms. Christine shrugged in response.

"I have, it's just we went to his music room while our parents talked. The library was near it." She stated.

"Mhm, yeah, k, sure." Phoenixx hummed, a skeptical look on her face. Christine rolled her eyes and walked towards the giant staircase in front of them. The others followed her, as she started walking up the stairs. Once she reached the top of the stairs, she closed her eyes and paused, trying to remember which way the room was. She nodded, before turning, walking down the long hallway, before reaching their destination. Slade, suddenly having a complete disregard for the fact the library door probably costs more than his life, kicked it open.

"Slade!!" Jennifer yelled. He just shrugged, and walked in, choosing to avoid getting yelled at for what he did. They stood there for a moment, trying to process what just happened.

"You gotta admit, that was pretty cool." Christine stated, breaking the silence. Jennifer just shot her a glare.

"Not helping." She replied, through clenched teeth, before walking in. Christine shrugged, before following after. Once they were all inside, Slade kicked the door shut.

"Slade, I swear to god if you keep kicking stuff, we're going to get sued." Jennifer calmly, yet sternly warned. He just shrugged again, and walked over to a table, sitting down. Breezy slapped her hands over her mouth, trying to keep in a laugh. Daniel hit Breezy's stomach, signaling her to shut up. This only caused her to burst, and start laughing. Daniel sighed, shaking his head. Christine walked over to the table Slade was sitting at, and flopped on top of it, suddenly having a complete disregard for the same facts the door had. Jennifer face palmed, shaking her head.

"You only live once." Christine stated.

"Actually," Daniel started, before Christine cut him off by lifting her finger up.

"No, no, you only live once, Dan. Unless you're trying to tell me I am the living embodiment of Alexander Hamilton in life, then you only live once." Christine stated. Daniel frowned.

"You're not the twenty-first century's Alexander Hamilton." Daniel replied, crossing his arms.

"Then I have made my point." She shot back.

"Can you not lay on my table?" Damian asked, walking over to the group. They all jumped at his sudden appearance, and Slade fell out of his chair. Christine sat up and looked down at him, before she started laughing. Soon the others all started to laugh, and they stayed like that for a good five minutes. Once they calmed down, act got off the table, and they all sat down in the chairs. They started getting their stuff out, when Breezy suddenly remembered something.

"Wait, wait, wait, bros." Breezy said, waving her hands in front of her face. They all stopped, turning their attention from their backpacks to Breezy. Christine and Phoenixx shared a confused, skeptical look, before Phoenixx slowly lowered the book that was halfway out of her bag, back down into it. Christine looked over at Breezy, and ever so slowly pulled her book out of her bag, gently placing it on the table.

"Yes?" Daniel asked, gesturing her to go on.

"Why are we studying stuff from, like, the Revolutionary War and everything that followed after that, when we're learning about the Civil War in class?" She asked. Daniel's face fell onto the table, as he let out a groan, Slade's jaw dropped as he tried to look surprised and not laugh, Jennifer looked kind of angry, and Christine and Phoenixx were a mix of emotions. Phoenixx's mouth hung open a bit, as she threw her arms up in the arm, trying to form a coherent sentence, but she kept cutting herself off and changing her mind as she searched for words. Christine pursed her lips in to a thin line, throwing her arms up in the arm, and letting them fall back onto the table. She then looked to her left, staring at a bookshelf, as she lifted her right hand. She swiftly slapped her History book off the table, not even looking at it as she did so.

"What the freak have we been doing this whole time?!" Jennifer yelled.

"Studying something that was at least fifty years off of what we were supposed to be learning." Christine answered, still staring at the bookshelf.

"I gotta tell you this is gonna hard." Daniel sighed, lifting his head up, running a hand through his hair.

"Hard?" Christine asked, a smirk growing on her expressionless face, as she tried not to laugh.

"Is gonna be bad." He said, trying to get Christine's mind out of the gutter.

"Bad?" She asked, slapping her hand down onto the table, as she continued to hold in her laughter.

"Is gonna be rough." He insisted, hoping that she couldn't find anything funny about that. She looked up at him, smiling.

"Kinky." She commented, before bursting out into laughter with the others. Damian rolled his eyes, a small smile on his face, as he got up and grabbed Christine's textbook. He placed it on the table and sat down, the group calming down shortly after.

"Truth of the matter is, we actually do know some stuff about what lead up to the Civil War, since that's where we are now in class. But I think we studied the Revolutionary War, because we panicked." Slade stated.

"Wow, that actually sounded smart." Breezy sarcastically replied, earning a playful slap from Slade, along with a mumbled "shut up".

"The Kansas-Nebraska Act Of 1854 is what really helped kick start the Civil War. Lincoln's win in the election of 1860 is what drove Southerners to secession, as the Southern states formed the Confederate States Of America, making the Confederate Constitution to protect slavery in the territories it already existed in, and any territories it might acquire." Christine stated, saying everything that came to her when she thought of the Civil War. The room went silent for a moment, before Daniel spoke.

"So she does know more about history other than what happened in 1776." Daniel sarcastically stated, smiling a bit. Christine shrugged a bit, opening her textbook.

"I'm a bit of a history nerd. Hamilton just helped me embrace it." She admitted.

"Yeah, everyone always wants to be in groups with her, not because she's special, but because she's smart." Jennifer said, remembering how Christine did a project with a group of boys about the Kansas-Nebraska Act.

"And you said you'd fail history." Phoenixx muttered, smiling to herself, as she flipped the pages of her textbook. Christine looked down at her lap, staring at her crisscrossed legs, smiling to herself.

The group had started working after a while, and soon they were having an argument over who the president of the Confederate States Of America was. During this, Damian had thought now was a perfect time to ask Christine something.

"Hey, Christine, I was wondering if you and your friends would like to come to this weird ball like party thing my parents are doing." He said, as the others blissfully argued, unaware of what was happening right next to them.

"Sure, I guess." Christine answered with a shrug, thinking nothing of it. Damian smiled a bit, and went back to work, now knowing he's have someone his age there with him.

Christine was about to go back to work, but paused for a moment.

"Wait a flip'ade-flopp'ade second." She thought, squinting off into the distance. But it was too late for her to say anything, for the conversation had moved forward.

"The South sucks a-," Breezy started, before Jennifer cut her off with a death glare.

"Go ahead, finish that sentence, I dare you." She stated. Phoenixx leaned over and whispered something in Jennifer's ear, earning a slap.

"Dude!" Phoenixx yelled, smiling a bit. Christine smiled at her friends, before looking down at her lap.

"I'm confused by life now."
