I kept running until I was miles from the manor. "I want to go home. I want to go home now." I demanded.
"Danny, I need to make a wish!" I cried out.
"What's the matter not liking your wish?" Danny had said.
"No I'm not." I said while trying to stop crying.
"Now why is that?" he asked as if he knew.
"Because of not belonging here. I hate it, I hate it." I said.
"Lady Danalia?" a familiar voice said. I turned to look and there was Sebastian standing there with Ciel.
"Can you see us?" Danny asked Sebastian.
"Of course I can." Sebastian replied.
"How strange that you can see me." Danny said.
"What’s going on Sebastian? I can't see anything." Ciel commented on.
"So the little boy can't see me but you can, so does that mean you are not human?" Danny asked Sebastian.
"I am what I am." Sebastian said.
"Well then I guess I just have to kill you." Danny said jumping to Sebastian.
"No!" I screamed as I jump in front of Sebastian. Then everything went black and I couldn't feel my body anymore and I got really cold for the first time.
"It's dark and lonely and cold just like in my dreams." I thought as the one thing I could feel hit me. "Rain, it's raining outside."
"Come on Dani, just because it's raining doesn't mean you have to be sad. Hey, why are you crying?" mom said, my real mom said.
"Because I wanted to play outside with grandpa and daddy today." I said as I cried.
"Well daddy has to work and grandpa is busy right now, but we can play a game. Ok Dani?" She said with a gentle voice.
"Really?" I asked and stopped crying.
"Let’s play hide-and-go-seek Dani." She said with a smile not knowing what was going to happen next.
"Ok." I said as I jumped out of my chair.
"I'll count and you hide. Ok?" She said. "One, two, three, four..." She counted as I ran and hide. I hid under the table that had a long white table cloth that touched the floor. "AHHHH!" mom screamed in pain.
"M-Mom?" I said to scare to go and see. I hears footsteps get closer when someone else came out.
"Darling!" my dad yelled in pain deeper than anything.
"My lady! What happened to you?" I heard grandpa say. After that the talking was over and crashing noises were heard. Soon everything was quiet and nothing could be heard. No footsteps, no talking, no crashing, just silence.
"Mommy, daddy, grandpa?" I said getting out from under the table. There was blood everywhere but no sign of anyone.
"Dani." a weak voice said.
"DADDY!" I yelled running to him.
"Sweetie," he started to stay but stopped and coughed.
"Take this." he says handing me a locket.
"What is it daddy? Why can't I open it?" I asked trying to open it.
He started to laugh, "Oh child you still have lots to learn. But I can no longer teach you these things." he said smiling so I wouldn't be scared.
"What do you mean daddy?" I continued to ask.
"Listen don't be scared I will always be with you." he said in a quiet voice.
"But I am scared daddy." I said.
"Don't cry you have you whole life ahead of you and when you’re ready and only when you are ready you can open the locket." he said trying to keep his eyes open.
"Don't leave me daddy! Don't leave me!" I started to cry.
"Don't cry, look outside your making the sky cry, be happy so the sky can be happy to. Every time someone is sad it rains so keep smiling Dani." he said closing his eyes.
"Daddy don't go. I need you." I cried.
"I'm sorry Dani but goodbye, I love Y..." he stopped and breathed out, "ou." I put my head on his chest but his body was cold and I couldn't hear his heart beat anymore.
"Daddy?" I began to cry again. It's been eleven years since then.
When I opened my eyes I heard someone knocking at my door. "Are you feeling better? May I come in?" Sebastian said.
"Yes, you may Sebastian." I said while sitting up.
"I bought you some hot tea." Sebastian said while walking in.
"Thank you Sebastian." I said taking the cup from him.
"May I ask you a question?" Sebastian asked.
"What is it?" I answered.
"I was wondering who that person was. The one who you were talking to." Sebastian said.
"His name is Danny and he is a wizard." I said trying to forget the fight me and Ciel had.
"A wizard? Well thank you for answering my questions but I must go now. Call me if you need anything." Sebastian said as fast as he left the room.
Around an hour later Lizzy came in. "Are you feeling better Dani?" she asked.
"Yes I am feeling much better but Lizzy how long was I sleeping for?" I asked.
"You have been sleeping for a whole week." Lizzy said in a scared tone.
"I was? That means I need to get ready for the ball." I said trying to get out of bed.
"NO YOU NEED TO REST!" Lizzy yelled as she blocked my way of getting out of bed. "We were so worried about you." Lizzy began to cry.
I stopped trying to get out of bed and said, "Don't cry or you will make the sky sad." I said as I wiped her tears.
"What do you mean Dani?" Lizzy asked.
"I mean that if you cry the sky will get sad and start to cry." I said trying to claim her down.
"Don't you mean rain, the sky can't cry." Lizzy protested.
"No I mean the sky has feelings too and when the sky sees someone crying then it gets sad too and starts to cry." I said.
"I have never heard that before Dani. Where did you learn that from?" Lizzy asked.
"I learned it from my dad." I said smiling. The funny part is that Lizzy found herself smiling with me.
A few days later Ciel, Lizzy and I took some dancing lessons together, even though I think Lizzy was there just to see Ciel and to do something with him.
"Why has Lizzy been with me everywhere I go recently?" Ciel asked Sebastian.
"I believe she feels you haven't spent much time with her and more into your work and other things." Sebastian answered quietly so Lizzy couldn't hear.
"Are you saying stop doing work and pay attention to her more." Ciel said.
"Of course not young master but maybe you should take a day off before the ball and you and Lady Elizabeth should go somewhere." Sebastian quickly said seeing Lizzy come towards them.
"Ciel lets practice together now, ok?" Lizzy said.
"Lizzy why don't we go somewhere together. Anywhere you like." Ciel said to change the topic.
"Anywhere really?" Lizzy said in excitement.
"That's right anywhere by here that is." Ciel said with a smile.
"How about we go on a boat ride and go to town. Oh it will be so fun. Can we go tomorrow?" Lizzy said.
"Sebastian, keep tomorrow opened and make sure a carriage is ready." Ciel said without looking at Sebastian.
"Yes my lord." Sebastian said without any objections.
"Oh Ciel, we are going to have such a great time together." Lizzy said while she spun around.
"My lord I will also have a lunch made for you to." Sebastian said as if he knew Ciel was going to ask him to.
