It's finally Monday and I'm excited to see Emma. I don't know if she feels the same way but ever since the incident that happened I feel more connected to her. I want to seriously know her more but that will be a challenge. Well it's a challenge I'm willing to face.
I walk to Anatomy and I see her sitting down at our table. It honestly made my heart soar seeing her. I went and sat down and she completely ignored me. I sigh, of course she would. "Hey Emma how you feeling?" She looks up and nods. "I'm feeling better and you?" I smile. "Feeling better, are we still on for tonight?" She nods.
"If you can handle it then yes we are still on." I chuckle. "Please Emma you know I can." She chuckles. "We shall see tonight but in the mean time.." she says then hands me a paper. "What's this?" She laughs. "Your part of the project, I know I gave you stuff to type but maybe you can bring those things over and we can work on them together." I lift my eyebrow.
"You want to work together?" "If you don't want to, I can ignore you again.." I laugh. "No no it's ok, by when do you need them?" "Maybe tomorrow I mean we still have quite some time till it's due, maybe of how impatient I was I put you and myself in danger," she says and sighs.
I smile. "Don't say that Emma, things happen, don't beat yourself about it." She smiles at me and nods. "I guess so." I nod.
Time passes by and we were walking to class and we see the guys we fought with that night walking up to us. I quickly push Emma behind me and she gave me a baffled look. She moved my arm and walked in front of me. "The hell you guys want?" "All I'm going to say gothic princess is to watch your back, just because you have your boyfriend prince here doesn't mean we will not come after you again," Snart says and I scoff.
"Leave Emma alone." Snart chuckles along with the rest of the guys. "It's best you leave this chick alone, she will only bring you pain Jones." I scoff. "Get the hell out of our sight," I say as I clench my teeth. They all laugh wickedly and walked away. I looked back at Emma and she was pissed beyond hell. "We won't let ourselves be bullied by them, see you tonight, don't be late," she says then walks away.
Oh well that sweet Emma is gone again, I can't wait to leave this stupid school. I mean I was way better in London but then I wouldn't picture myself being anywhere else than here.
The Day continued without any problems and when the school day ended I made my way home. As soon as I arrived I hear a lot of voices coming from the living room. I tip toed my way through them and ran upstairs. As soon as I got to my room I locked the door. I checked all my homework and then started to prepare to go to Emma's house.
That's when I hear Maria outside my door. I go and open it. "You hungry Killian?" She asks and I smile. "Not really." She nods. "Where you going to?" I stayed quiet and she laughed. "You're going to go see Emma huh?" I nod. "Yeah." She smiles. "She's a good young lady, very hurt but I believe you can help her change." I smile. "Hopefully well I got to go, I'm running a bit late." She smiles.
"Go I'll cover for you." I go and hug her. "Thanks Maria." She nods. "Go be happy my boy." I nod and made my way to Emma's house.
Emma's POV
As soon as I got home I went straight to work out and to train. I was tired of their crap, I want to prepare myself for anything. I looked at my phone and it was already 6pm, Killian is late. That's when I hear the doorbell ring. I scoff. Maybe inviting Killian wasn't the best thing I mean I do work better alone.
I walked out of the garage and my aunt was on her laptop in the dinning room table. "Killian?" I nod and she gives me a smirk. I scoff. "It's not like that aunt." She laughs and continues to type. I go and open the door and I give Killian a straight face. "You're late." "I'm only two minutes late." "Oh come on don't be so serious," he says and laughs. I stayed quiet and he nods.
"Ok sorry Emma I promise I'll get here on time tomorrow." I nod. "Good." I escort him in then we made our way to the garage. "Ok you are going to do some warm up exercises before I go and teach you the basics way self defense." Killian nods. Once he finished I started to teach him the few basic ones.
"Ok I'm sure you know how to defend yourself but it's always good to know properly how to do it." He nods. "The first one is the eyes, an attack here will produce a lot of pain and it will let the attacker disoriented allowing you to escape. Try poking or scratching them with your fingers or your knuckles. Don't hesitate and hit hard." He nods.
"Next is the nose, if you can reach it, aim for the nasal bones. Use the heel of your palm to hit upwards and do it with your entire body. If the attacker is behind you, use your elbow to hit hard and good." He nods.
"Ok try those simple moves with me," I say and he shakes his head. "I'm not going to scratch your eyes or hit your nose." I chuckle. "Killian this is pretend, once I get to the actual maneuvers I'm going to be drop kicking you." He chuckles. I go and push him then I swing and he blocks it and pretends to hit my nose. "Good." He smiles.
"Ok next is the ears, they are weak points of our body too even if you don't think about it. So, if you have the opportunity, do an ear clap. This means that with a quick, strong move you hit your attacker right in the ear forcing the attacker to bend down to and you finish the move by punching the attacker with the other hand." He shakes his head
"Doesn't that sound like a weak move to do?" I chuckle. "Really?" I then clap really loud next to Killian ears and he bends down covering his ears and I pretend to punch him. "So you were saying?" He scoffs. "Ok fine it works." I smile. I continue to explain the others and Killian is just standing there listening.
"Man Emma this is a lot to take in," he says and I smile. "I told you it wasn't easy." "But I can take it." I laugh. "We will see about that." I chuckle. "Ok on to the next thing." He nods.
"The center of the torso is another point that you can successfully attack. It's right above the stomach, under the ribs. If you deal with a taller man this is the point you can reach the easiest. Use your elbow or your fist and put your entire body into this hit." He nods. "So where?" He asks and I walk up to him and touched him right under his ribs.
"Right here," I say and he looks down and smiles. I looked up at him and couldn't help but stare at his blue eyes. He smirked and I backed away. "Ok I'm pretty sure you know where." He smiles and nods.
"Ok so practice doing all those moves with me." He nods and does each one.
I smile because he executed each move perfectly. He reaches the last one and stops right before touching my chest. I smile. "You did good Killian." He smiles. "Now these are a bit complex but I think you will get them." He nods. I go and teach him three other techniques which he executed perfectly.
"Ok these last two they are a bit difficult." He nods. "Hug me from behind." He gives me a baffled look. "Killian hug me from behind and put your arms over my shoulders." He nods and goes and hugs me. "See with this you could either elbow the guy in the stomach, stomp their feet or do this," I say as I jump and flipped him over my back.
He laid there flat on his back completely baffled. "The hell how did you do that?" I smiled. "Practice honey." He smiles. "Ok you try it, you got to try and flip me over." He nods. I go and hug him from behind and in an instant he has me flat on my back. I groan as I hit the floor.
"Oh my gosh Emma are you ok?" I laugh. "Good, that's good." He sighs in relief. "Ok so now we will practice all the other defense moves I showed you, aside from the basic ones." I start to swing and he blocks it and I go and kick his chest. "Fight me Killian!" I scream. He's hesitant on hitting me and I continue to push him.
He then goes and kicks my stomach and I groan. He gasps and I go kick him. "Never lose your stand Killian." He nods then I kick him in the chest. He tries the other moves and does them perfectly. He then grabs my arms and wraps them in front of me then hugs me from behind.
"Ah I surprised you huh love?" He says looking down at me. "I have some tricks of my own Emma." I laugh and elbowed his stomach then I kicked his chest and he fell flat on his back. I go and sit on top of him placed my hand on his neck. "I have some too love," I say exaggerating on the world love. He chuckles. "So you like to be on top huh?" I gave him a baffled look.
He then flips me over and pins me down on the floor. I gasp. He then grabs my arms and pins them above me. "I actually like to be on top and take control love." I couldn't help but be impressed, he bested me. I stared up at him and my did he look so handsome. Damn it what the hell am I thinking? He looks down at me and is staring right at my lips.
I start to get nervous and I fell tingly all around. "You know Emma, I would like to do more enjoyable activities with you on your back." I raise my eyebrow. He leans down and is inches away from my lips. I could feel his breath against my lips. I close my eyes and that's when I hear the door open.
My aunt gasps as she sees us. "I am so sorry," she says and quickly closes the door. Killian looks down at me then gets off. He helps me up and we both stood there awkwardly. "Umm that was a good first day of training Killian, good job." He coughs. "Thank you, I mean I did have a good teacher." I smile.
"See you tomorrow at school?" He nods. "Same time as today right?" I nod. "Goodbye Killian." He nods. "Goodbye Emma." He walks away leaving me in the garage alone. What the hell is wrong with me? Why was I ok with him wanting to kiss me? I grabbed my towel and walked out.
I look over at my aunt and she gave me the biggest smirk ever. "I'm so sorry sweetie if I interrupted." I laugh. "There was nothing to interrupt we were just training." She laughs. "Sure training." I nod. "Yes so now if you'll excuse me I'm a go take a shower." She nods. "Whatever you say Emma, yes go take a cold shower I'm sure you need it."
"Aunt!" She laughs. "I'm sorry it's just go on I'll talk to you later." I nod and make my way up to the bathroom to take a shower. As I'm in the shower Killian comes to my mind making me nearly slip and fall. I can't think of him in that way, I just can't or can I?
