"Annyeonghaseyo my teddy bear."
"Annyeong my angel," Minseok says as he leans in for a hug. I hug him back and he continues,"Thank you for telling me what's wrong."
"Don't tell anyone."
"I won't."
"Thank you."
Minseok's head moves closer to mine and he whispers into my ear,"Do you cut yourself?"
I whisper,"uuummm y-y-yes."
"Are you gonna stop?"
"Now that I have you, I'll try."
"Good. Can I see the cuts?"
"Not today."
"That's fine."
"Please don't treat me differently."
"What do you mean?"
"Now that you know, don't treat me differently."
"I'm not."
"Thanks and you know you can let go of me now."
" I know."
"Then why won't you?"
"Because I like this. You do too, correct?"
"Correct."
"Then let me hug you in peace."
"And let me hug you back."
"I'd never turn down an opportunity to hug you."
"You are my teddy bear, so I'll be hugging you all the time."
"And you're my angel so I'll always be wondering how you hide your wings."
"What does that mean?"
"Nothing. I'm just wondering."
"Oh okay, but the only wings I have is BTS's album."
Minseok laughs and says,"That's a good album and after school, can we do something?"
"Yeah, sure. What do you have in mind?"
"Oh. I wanted to get us to know each other better."
"Okay."
🐻🐻* A F T E R * S C H O O L *🐻🐻
"JA KYUNG," Minseok shouts getting my attention from across the hall. I walk to him and he grabs a hold of my hand.
I smile and ask,"What? Big crowd and you don't want to loose me?"
"Exactly! How did you know?"
"I can read your mind."
"That's just amazing."
"Just like you Minseok."
"I think you have me mistaken for Ja Kyung because she's the amazing one."
My face heats up and I say,"no, I'm talking about the wonderful, amazing, and hot Minseok."
"You're so aegyo."
"Of course I am! I get complimented by Minseok all the time!"
"Aahhh. I see your using my lines now."
"Yup."
"Cause you can't come up with your own, correct?"
"Correct."
"How sad."
"Yes, it's so sad you can call me crippling depression."
"I'd rather call you my angel."
"Just like how I'd rather call you Minseok instead of Xiumin."
"Aaah. You got me there."
"Do you wanna start heading to the cafe because we've been standing in the middle of the hall for a long time?"
"Let's go," Minseok says and in an instant drags me outside of the school.
As we walk side by side, he lets go on his tight grip on my hand and put his arm around my shoulders. I hold his hand on my shoulder and put my other arm around his waist. I blush a little as I realized what I was doing.
Minseok smiles and lets out a chuckle and I say,"What?"
"You're just so aegyo when you blush."
My face heats up even more and I whisper,"Aigoo! That doesn't make me less red you know!"
Minseok laughs and says,"I know my angel."
"Still not helping."
"Hahaha. Let's get to know each other."
"Okay. What do you wanna know?"
"Everything."
"Well shit. That's a lot."
"You are my everything, so I want to know everything about you."
"How are you so sure?"
"Of what?"
"That I'm your everything."
"Because I know I'm going to be with you for a long time."
"By 'be with you', in what way do you mean?"
"Any way you want. How do you want it to mean?"
"Um. As a friend?"
"Why are you asking me? It's your choice if you want me as a friend or more."
"How would you like it?"
"In any way you want, as long as it's positive and not anything like an enemy or stranger."
"I'll tell you how I'd like it later."
"I'm giving you till the end of the day."
"Shit."
"Is there a problem?"
"No, it's fine."
"Okay."
"Are we almost there?"
"Yeah, just a minute away. What do you wanna eat?"
"Baozi."
"That's inappropriate."
"How?"
"You call me baozi."
"Well, I didn't mean it like that. Dirty minded person."
"You can eat me all you want."
"What the fuck did you say?"
"Aigoo! I'm kidding!"
"Yeah, sure."
"I really am."
"Mhm."
"Friends don't lie. I'm your friend."
"Sounds like you wanna be my prositute."
"No! I don't know what you're talking about! You're the one being dirty minded!"
"I'm kidding Minseok."
"Yeah right."
"Aish. We're at the Cup of Coffee now."
"Okay, let's go!"
We continue to walk inside and see Tao and Luhan with three other guys. Minseok drags me to them and says,"Chen, Kris, and Lay this is Ja Kyung. Ja Kyung this is Chen, Kris, and Lay."
I smile and say,"Annyeonghaseyo Chen, Kris, Lay, Tao, and Luhan !" And I say all their names because I'm trying to memorize them.
They say,"Annyeonghaseyo Ja Kyung," in unison.
"It's nice to meet you Chen, Kris, and Lay."
Chen smiles at me and says,"Aahh it's nice meeting the girl who my best friend talks about all the time."
Kris and Lay nods their head in approval and I say,"Talks about me?"
Lay says,"Yup, that's what Chen said."
"All the time?"
Kris chuckles a little and says,"Pretty much."
I start to blush like crazy and I smile.
Lay smirks and says,"Look who's blushing."
Minseok looks at me and we make eye contact. He softly pinches my cheeks and says,"Aww you're cheeks are as red as a rose again."
I laugh and sarcastically say,"Why not a tomato?"
"Cause you're too pretty for that," Minseok says as he puts his hand gently on my cheek.
All the sudden, a tall, handsome man with cotton candy looking hair,a handsome man with dreadlocks, a cute guy with a mullet, and another handsome man with wavy and puffy hair comes in. They all scream,"AYYYEE XIUMIN."
Damn it. More people whom I have to make friends with.
The guy with the mullet says,"Oh look who's flirting."
The tall man then says,"Aaaww Xiumin, is this your girlfriend?"
Minseok rubs his neck and says,"Ahaha, she's not my girlfriend."
"Is that why you talk about her all the time," the guy with dreadlocks asked.
"Um, hi guys. First of all, I'm right here. Second of all, I'm not his girlfriend and lastly, he wasn't flirting," I say sassily.
Lay steps in and shout-whispers to these men,"Guys, there was something going on and you ruined the show."
The guy with wavy hair says,"Ah. We're sorry."
Lay shrugs and goes back to Chen and the others.
Minseok says,"Ja Kyung, this is Chanyeol, Kai, Baekhyun, and Suho. Guys, this is Ja Kyung."
I smile and say,"Nice to meet you guys."
Suho says,"It's nice to meet you Ja Kyung. I apologize for my kids' disturbance and their interference with you and Xiumin. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again."
"Wow. Um, it's okay. They didn't do anything wrong. They were just teasing Minseok about me and everyone seems to do that which confuses me. And why did you call them your kids?"
"Ah, I call them my kids because we live in the same house and out of all of them, I have the most leadership," Suho says proudly.
Baekhyun rolls his eyes and says,"Yeah, yeah, yeah. We get it."
Chanyeol says,"We heard it one thousand times."
Kai says,"You know that everyone here is his 'kid' too."
I raise an eyebrow and say,"Who's the dad?"
Tao says,"It's Kris."
"Wait, so Suho and Kris is gay because I was kidding."
Kris puts a disgusted face on and says,"No, what the hell. It's because we're the closest to each other when it comes to our friendship."
"Ah okay."
Luhan asked,"Guys, where's Kyungsoo and Sehun?"
Kai says,"Kyungsoo is at home because he didn't feel good."
Suho says,"Sehun is taking care of him."
"Aahh okay," Luhan says as he nods.
I look down to check if my shoelaces are tied and I realized that Minseok and I are still holding hands.
I smile and say,"Are we going to eat?"
Minseok asks me,"Are you hungry?"
"Kind of."
"Then let's go. Guys, we'll be back we are just going to get some food," Minseok kindly says.
I smile and the guys start to follow us to the counter. As me and Minseok hold hands and walk, I can hear the guys whispering. I turn to Minseok and say,"I think they're talking about us."
"They probably are because we're holding hands."
"What's the big deal? We hold hands all the time."
"True,but you barely met them and they aren't familiar with us."
"I see. It's okay. We can tease them about each other dating. I already have shipped them together."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Chanyeol and Baekhyun are cute together. They can beeeee... oh my gosh. ChanBaek."
Minseok laughs and says,"And Kai and Kyungsoo can be Kaisoo."
"Suho and Kris is Krisho," I say as I laugh.
"We're good at this."
"Very. What are you ordering by the way?"
"Miso soup. And you?"
"I told you, boazi."
"Inappropriate."
"It's not inappropriate!"
"Whatever you say," Minseok says as he smirks and falls in line. As he orders for me, I put my head on his shoulder and star to hear the guys whispering.
"Minseok, I can pay."
"No, it's okay."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"Okay. Thanks."
"No problem."
