(y/n)'s pov
I've been searching for my dragon Litania for the longest time and I still can't find her. (e/n), my exceed was asleep on my shoulder as I walked through town.
(e/n) groaned and rolled over, almost falling off my shoulder if I didn't catch her. "woah, careful you" I said sitting her on my shoulder, "I'm so tired, and hungry and I feel sick" she whined.
I sighed and looked around, 'I don't know where I can get her something to eat, money isn't exactly something my pocket has' I thought looking around.
I had a little money though, maybe I can get some medicine for her, I walked up to the medicine stand and asked the lady if she had any medicine.
"that'll be ten jewel" the lady told me, I gulped and looked at the six jewel in my pocket, 'I can't afford it ' I thought nervously. "here", I saw a lady behind me with bright red hair handing the lady four jewel to pay for the medicine, "t-thank you miss" (e/n) coughed looking at her. "take care of yourself now" she said before she walked off the and lady gave me the medicine.
'now we need food, I'll just steal some, this'll be a piece of cake' I thought as I walked nonchalantly through town slowly leaning closer towards the food stand.
I saw a little boy with dark purple hair looking at the apple on the cart, I made a sad face and sighed, I grabbed the apple and handed it to the little boy.
"here you go son" I whispered handing him the apple, "hey!", I turned around and saw guards running towards me. I threw on my hood and turned around, "crystal dragon quartz wall!" I yelled and a clear quartz wall grew in front of me.
"Romeoooo?!"
I kept running away from the guards until I ran into someone and fell on the ground, I held my head and looked up at him, his hair was salmon pink and his eyes were jet black.
"hold it right there!"
I gasped and peered back at the guards closing in on me, "sorry!" I yelled quickly before I shot up and kept running away from the guards.
I ran to the park where I eventually lost them in the tree line, I panted heavily as I sat on the branch with (e/n) as she held tightly onto my back as she was exhausted from flying.
"hooded lady! where are you?!", I peered down and saw the little boy from earlier walking with the man I bumped into earlier in town. I jumped down and stood upright as I pulled down my hood, "looking for me?" I asked tilting my head.
"thank you for giving my little buddy the apple earlier, you almost got into big trouble" the salmon haired boy said, "I'm Natsu, this is Romeo" Natsu said playfully patting Romeo's head.
"we just wanted to say thanks, you could've gotten into serious trouble" Romeo said bashfully putting his hand behind his neck, "it's ok, it's not like I haven't been in trouble before" I said quietly.
"trouble before? So you're actually her, (y/n) the market bandit, you're wanted in so many places" Natsu said analyzing me, "yeah! I saw you on one of our job request boards" Romeo said pointing at me.
"oh please don't turn me in! I'm just trying to find my dragon then I'll be out of everyone's hair" I begged the two boys, "you're looking for your dragon too?" Natsu asked. I nodded, "she disappeared two years ago" I told him, "I'm still kinda new to the whole dragon thing" I added quietly.
"can we bring her to Fairy Tail?! won't gramps let her in?!" Romeo asked tugging on Natsu's arm, "we can't just drag her, it's up to her" Natsu said calming Romeo down.
"should we really trust them" (e/n) asked whispering in my ear, "you can trust us, besides, life on the run isn't always fun" Romeo said happily. "you can change your ways, just come with us" Natsu said happily extending his hand for me to take, I shakily and uneasily took his hand.
They brought me to a building with a bunch of guild members, "hey, I know you", I turned around and saw a lady with red hair, it was the same lady that gave me money in town.
"yeah she's (y/n) the market bandit" Romeo said happily, my face burned and I froze, "if you're a thief then why buy something in the market?" she asked. "that's Erza, strongest female mage we have" Natsu said happily but somewhat nervously. "the medicine was for my exceed (e/n), I only steal food and money to keep us alive" I explained quietly.
natsu's pov
(y/n) was really pretty, her (h/c) hair draped just past her shoulders and her (e/c) eyes... when they met mine for the first time in the market I could've sworn they sparkled like a diamond.
"so (y/n) the market bandit, wanted in every town, known for pickpocketing money and smuggling food, magic is the crystal dragon slayer, and you've been an active criminal for the past three years" Gramps said walking out from behind me looking at (y/n). "no way..." she whispered quietly looking at him, "your mother would be very disappointed in you (y/n)" Gramps told her.
(y/n)'s pov
"well mom isn't here..." I growled sadly gripping my fist, "(y/n)?", I peered behind Natsu and saw him... I saw... Loke. "L-Loke?!" I yelled, I ran forward and hugged him, "I never truly apologized (y/n) I'm so so sorry" be whispered only loud enough for me to hear. "no it wasn't your fault Loke" I whispered, "Loke is everything alright?", a girl with blonde hair put her hand on Loke's shoulder.
"this is Karen's daughter, (y/n) Lilica, she was supposed to be my new owner until she disappeared after Karen's death, I thought she died out there" he told her hugging me again, "hi (y/n), I'm Loke's new owner, Lucy" she said happily.
time skip
natsu's pov
Ever since (y/n) joined Fairy Tail she's spent so much time with Lucy to try and get close to Loke, does she like him? does she like him like I like her? I sighed and slumped down on the bench laying my head down.
"hey Natsu, you aren't so fired up anymore, what's the problem?" Happy asked patting my back. "do you want some fish?" Happy added, "no uh... I'm fine, thanks little buddy" I said patting his head but not looking at him.
lucy's pov
"hey happy?!" I called happy from across the guild hall, he flew over to me and sat down on my lap looking up at me, "what's wrong with Natsu" I asked him. "he won't tell me, but I'm going to assume he's hungry" he told me.
"I know it's not that he's hungry otherwise he'd be chowing down right now" I said rolling my eyes and looking over at him. His head was tilted, looking to his left, I followed the trail of his eyesight and spotted (y/n) laughing with Loke as Romeo sat on her lap.
(y/n)'s pov
"so are you going to help me talk to Natsu or not" I complained laughing weakly as this was the fifth time I had to repeat my question, "I don't know, try asking again" Loke said playfully smirking at me.
Romeo started laughing as he looked up at me and smiled, "I hate you both so much" I laughed happily. "please you both know Natsu better, I need advice" I whined, "how about you just tell him you like him" Romeo said peering up at me.
"crushes don't work like that" I whined hanging my head, "hey (y/n)", I looked over and saw Lucy running beside me with Happy in her arms, "oh hi Lucy" I said with a smile.
"is something the matter?" I asked tilting my head at her, "have you also noticed that Natsu's been so quiet these past few days" she asked, I looked over and noticed Natsu just sitting at the bench with his head tucked into his arms.
"can you guys give me a moment?" I asked everyone, they nodded and I got out of the bench, to walk beside Natsu, Happy and (e/n) went with me.
natsu's pov
I felt her sit down beside me, her sweet scent and her warm presence, I knew it couldn't be anyone else, "Natsu?" she asked placing her hand on my shoulder gently. Part of me wants to answer but the bigger part of me kept my mouth shut for once, "you're starting to worry me Natsu, not only me but Lucy and Happy too" she told me.
I still kept quiet which made her sigh sadly, "you can always talk to me, I want to be there for you, you helped me change my ways for the better, so I wanna be here beside you, whenever you need me" she kept telling me.
Suddenly her mood changed, "I hope you know I am NOT leaving until you tell me what's the problem" she said sassily not moving from her spot, "you really wanna know?" I asked.
She gasped happily, and I could feel her nod excitedly, "you are" I told her before I stood up and left the guild hall, she sat there frozen.
loke's pov
Natsu had stormed up and left the guild hall, (y/n) was frozen, she wasn't moving, she just sat there, suddenly, her feet started glowing and it the light slowly rose up her body. "SOMEONE STOP HER" Porlyusica yelled running out from upstairs, which made literally everyone run towards (y/n).
Her feet had turned into rose gold quartz, slowly her knees and all of her legs were rose gold quartz. No one was close by her except for Erza and Mira, they were the people first there besides (e/n).
"(y/n) stop it!" (e/n) yelled while shaking (y/n)'s shoulders back and forth but it didn't do anything, she remained with the same broken face.
mira's pov
When me and Erza had reached her, from her neck down her body had all been turned into rose gold quartz, it slowly rose up her neck slowly reaching her face. The last thing we saw from her was tears roll down her eyes as her face was consumed by the rose gold quartz, she was a statue now, just frozen with the same expression.
(e/n)'s pov
I started screaming, "THIS IS ALL NATSU'S FAULT!" I roared as I flew out the guild hall and went to follow Natsu.
"NATSUU!" I roared as I flew behind him, he turned around and saw me, he stopped and tilted his head, "(e/n)?" he asked. I lunged forward and punched him in the face, he fell backwards and fell on the ground, I went on the ground and ran at him again until Happy grabbed me pulling him back.
loke's pov
Lucy and I chased after (e/n) who was flying towards Natsu , she tackled him and tried to hit him until Happy grabbed her and pulled her back. "ITS ALL YOUR FAULT! YOU FROZE HER!" (e/n) screamed as she tried to get out of Happy's grip. "what is she talking about?!" Natsu yelled in our direction, "what did you tell (y/n)?!" Lucy yelled to him. "why don't you go ask her boyfriend?" Natsu asked annoyedly motioning towards me. "are you crazy Natsu?! we aren't dating!" I yelled to him, "then why are you always together" he growled hurtfully, "because she wanted to know how to talk to you!" I yelled. "forget that Loke! right now she's frozen! she's a sitting rose quartz statue Natsu!" Lucy yelled sadly, "what?!" he yelled back.
natsu's pov
"you're so clueless" Erza growled as she grabbed my ear and pulled me toward the guild hall, "you see that?" she snapped pointing at a rose quartz statue of (y/n) sitting with the same frozen expression she had earlier. "that was you!" she growled pushing me forward towards the statue.
"I never wanted this to happen" I whispered looking at her, I imagined her (e/c) orbs staring into mine, her medium length (h/c) hair draped behind her and her (s/t) skin in the sun. My eyes formed tears thinking this was my fault, if I had explained the truth to her the maybe I wouldn't have lost her.
"I'm sorry" I whispered heartbrokenly as I took a deep shaky breath and leaned forward, connecting her frozen rose quartz lips with mine.
lucy's pov
After Natsu kissed the statue of (y/n) she started glowing, her feet started glowing white and it rose up her body to her neck. "y-you see that too" I whispered looking at her, everyone's eyes were glued to the sight.
(y/n)'s pov
I felt something soft on my lips, it was soft, gentle, sweet, I slowly opened my eyes and I saw Natsu, his eyes were closed and his lips were on mine. My eyes widened and I gripped the bench I sat on in surprise, Natsu opened his eyes and saw me awake. He shot backwards and fell, "you're alive?!" he yelled, "you're not mad at me?!" I yelled back.
Everyone in the guild started giggling, he got up and hugged me extremely tightly, "please understand I didn't mean to hurt you!" he yelled sadly. I hugged him back, "I shouldn't have forced you to talk, it's my fault" I told him.
natsu's pov
"no it wasn't you forcing me to talk, I promise" I told her as I brushed a forming tear in her eye away, "I assumed you were with Loke, it's my fault for being angry instead of telling you the truth" I whispered to her.
"I, I didn't know! I only hung out with him and Romeo so much because they know you better! A-And I needed help talking to you. I actually care about you but I didn't know how to tell you!" she yelled nervously stuttering shyly.
I slammed my lips against hers to shut her up, I know it's cliche, the girl is being nervous and stuttering and I quiet her by kissing her, shut up don't judge me.
(y/n)'s pov
He kissed me again, hehe it worked, I got him to kiss me again by talking really fast. "are you two just gonna keep kissing or is this gonna move on sometime soon?!" Gramps yelled from the counter.
We broke away and both of us burned red, I felt myself getting picked up off the bench, Natsu held me up bridal style, "well I'll be back with her soon Gramps!" he yelled walking towards the guild entrance.
natsu's pov
"hey hey! when did I agree to this" she whined looking up at me with a bright red face, "right now" I said sweetly pecking her forehead. (e/n) started grabbing my jacket and tried pulling me away, "no no no!" she growled pulling me back but wasn't strong enough.
Happy pulled her away and held out a fish, "while those two go make babies wanna share a fish?" he asked her. My face burned red, "that's not what I'm taking her to do!" I yelled bashfully.

(y/n)'s pov
"(d/n) will you come here please" I called out to my daughter from the kitchen, "Natsu can you go get her?" I asked, I didn't get a response. I turned around and saw Natsu wasn't here, I walked down the hall to (d/n)'s room to see if she was there. (D/n) was on Natsu's shoulder, he held out one hand with a flame coming off of it, "I got this!" (D/n) squealed and held out her hand, and a small ember grew above it.
"what are you two doing~?" I asked slyly leaning against the doorway, they both swung around and saw me, "mommy daddy taught me fire magic! am I a fourth generation dragon slayer?! I learned magic from a dragon slayer that learned from a dragon!" she said in awe.
"of course why not, of course you're a fourth generation dragon slayer, if you want to be it then you can, but you have to train a little more, we can't protect Fiore with just a little ember now can we" I asked slyly winking at her.
"I'll train with you and daddy everyday! and one day! we'll save Fiore!" she proclaimed proudly raising her fist with it flaming weakly, Natsu smiled and did the same with his hand burning, I copied, and my hand shone a rose quartz color.
