1 Month Later
I was out on tour again but it was different this time. I had Dave and the kids with me. Dave and I had made a deal. He'd come on tour with me and support me and my solo project and I'd do the same on the upcoming Foo Fighters tour. I was happier than ever. I not only had Dave and the kids but I had Abby, Taylor and Ollie too. Frances, Scotty and Hunter where here too. Hunter and Abby where my amazing guitar players. I had hired Kyle as my drummer but he backed out the day before we left for tour. Thankfully Taylor and Dave stepped up and agreed to each help out, playing alternate nights so one of them could stay with the kids. I also had managed to snag a pretty aweome bass player. Nate and Kate just had a little one so Nate didn't want to tour even though he had done most of the bass tracks for my album. I understood and didn't argue but I did get a pretty awesome replacement without even asking. I was also extremely happy with the fellow acts on this tour. Chantal was one of them and I couldn't have been happier. We didn't like that the last half of the tour The Eeries would be switching with one of the unknown acts that where causing trouble already on this tour.
"Britt Dave is looking for," Krist said as I walked out of a room with Hunter and Abby.
"Did one fo the kids do something?" I asked getting worried.
"No he just wants has something to tell you. I think he's in the family room," Krist said as Abbya nd I started walking away and Hunter stayed to talk with Krist.
"I hope I didn't do anything wrong," I said.
"You haven't done anything wrong beside get stupid wasted last night after the show," Abby replied.
"We both did," I said as we got to the fmaily room. We walked in and saw Dave covered in kids.
"Please help me," Dave said as we stood there laughing. I walked over, grabbed Eric, picked him up and blew on his tummy. He giggled at me as Abby picked up Ollie just as he was about to hit an area Dave would not have enjoyed.
"Kurty said we where making a daddy dog pile," Meredith said as she sat down in Dave's lap after he sat up properly. Daddy's little girl.
"Daddy tough he can take it," Kurt said as he sat beside Dave.
"He is but he's old too," I said as I sat down scross from Dave. He gave me a hurt expression before smiling. "What did you want me for?" I asked.
"I just wanted to know if you had some free time soon so we can talk about some things," Dave said as Meredith got up and ran to Krist as he came in.
"I have nothing but time now that soundcheck is done. Krist can you watch the kids please?" I asked as he took Eric from em after I stood up.
"Heck ya. I love spending time with these three. Come on Kurt," Krist said and Kurt got up and headed out to the hall way. Probably to go run around the empty floor before people came in. Abby left with Ollie in search of Taylor as Dave moved into the chair he had been sitting against.
"What did you want to talk about?" I asked as I got up and sat down in his lap.
"The next tour. I want you as an opening act," Dave said.
"That wasn't the deal though. I want to do another movie or a tv show or something. I want to be a mom. I've missed so much already," I replied.
"You wouldn't be missing anything. You're already gonna be on the tour. Yu can be the opening opening act. Sing like 5 songs and then get off and come be the kids and me for a bit before I go out and rock the crowd and make you puddle of water as Abby puts it. You can do the acting when we get home or you can sit around and be a stay at home mom. You can even be a desperate housewife if you want. I won't stop you," Dave responded.
"I think we should discuss this later. I kind of want you to make me scream you name," I said as I got up and stradled him.
"I'm sure I know a way to make that happen. You want to close the door though babe," Dave said as I kissed his neck. I stopped and looked at the door before looking back at Dave with a devilish smile.
"Leave it open. Let's take a chance," I replied. Dave's eyes went wide before he pulled me in for a kiss.
2 Weeks Later
Chantal and I were off hiding as The Eeries where rehearsing. It was their first day and we were not happy.
"I just want the next 4 weeks to fly by," I said as I passed Chantal the joint.
"No shit. I can't believe they're here. Frances isn't gonna be happy when she comes to the last show," Chantal said before taking a couple of puffs.
"I miss her and Lynz, Abreea, Matt and Jessicka. I just want to fucking leave now and go home. Take Dave and the kids and just go. Let him do this shit. Tour is too much stress on me and I got all loonie," I said as she handed it back to me.
"Gurl this tour is so much different for you this time around. You and Dave are together and doing fucking good might I add. You guys are killing it with the parenting too. Those kids are so fucking happy gurl. You're not surrounded by all guys and groupie wanna be sluts. You are surrounded with friends and family. Like the time you guys went on tour when you where pregnant and then after the twins. There's no drugs around besides this stuff. Do what you want after this tour but those kids and Dave are your life. Do what makes you and them happy. I say do the tour with Dave. You'll be like the it couple," Chantal finally finished and I handed her the joint again.
"I want to do a radio show. I love music and I have such a fucked up taste in music. I can go from playing The Monkees to Britney Spears or Foo Fighters to freaking Kygo. I like the most random shit," I said as I leaned against the wall as someone came out the back door.
"That would be so cool. You should do it. Whose behind me?" Chantal asked when she saw my face.
"Take one guess," I said in a bitchy tone. Isaiah had walked out of the door to have a smoke. Chantal turned around and glared at him.
"I'm not gonna bother you two. I just wanted a cigarette," he said as he moved away from us and the door as it opened again and Dave came out.
"Babe it's our turn. Let's go," Dave said as Chantal handed me the joint. I smoked it as uick as I could before putting it out and the three of us went in. We all headed to the stage for sound check. Chantal would be watching and playing with the kids as Taylor and Dave had to both be in my band now. Hunter had to go because since I left the band two weeks ago they were gonna start working on the next album. The guys understood that I got dark on the last tour and didn't want a repeat. I left with my place waiting for me if I ever wanted it. But with Hunter leaving I needed a second guitar player and Dave happily stepped up. We went through rehearsal with no problems until we got off stage.
"Why does she get to go on before us? She's not even that good," I heard someone saying from the side as we got off the stage.
"Because she's been on the tour from the beginning and she's the reason this tour is even going on. You're only here to replace the dumb fucks who couldn't keep their act together. You're easily replaceable so shut the fuck up," Larry, the tour manager said to Isaiah before he walked away. I stood there and glared at Isaiah.
"This is my tour. Be grateful that I let you guys come on here. You rip a pretty good band off on their music but I like your stuff. So suck it up and deal with it. You don't like your slot then pack up and go home," I said before walking past him.
"She'll get rid of you soon as well. She gets rid of everyone once she's done using them," he called after me and Dave. I walked into my dressing room and threw a vase of roses against the wall.
"Woah calm down," Dave said as he walked up to me.
"I fucking hate that low life piece of shit. Why did they have to find the fucking Eeries to replace that retard band?" I asked as he put his hands on my arms.
"If you want another one we can find another one. This is your show. You're the one who goes on last and calls the shots. He's not worth wrecking the flowers I got you," Dave said.
"Those were from you?" I asked as I looked voer at the roses. I felt bad now.
"Ya but it's fine. We can get more water and another vase," Dave replied as I looked at the roses.
"I just can't stand that low life crap weasel," I said.
"I can make you forgot about him," Dave said as he started backing me up to the table that was in my dressing room. He set me on top of the table and kissed me.
"Dave this is not the time or place to be doing this," I said as he started kissing my neck. He slid his hand up under my skirt and rubbed me through my panties.
"There's always a fucking time and place for making you scream my name," Dave said before he pushed me down onto the table and had his way with me.
Little note about this chapter and the last.
My wonderful man Jake wrote Dave's speech for Chevy Reception. I was completely stuck on how Abby and Brittany met and Jake asked if he could take a crack at it and I think he knocked it out of the park. Thanks beautiful man you. You are the best thing to happen to me......besides Nirvana and Foo Fighters.
Also, my god son named the chapter....I said it was tour fluff and he started singing fluffy tour fluff over and over again. Free, you inspire me to be goofy when we're together. You will always be my god bean. Xo
