"What is it?" i said as i turned my head to my mother who called
"Hi baby girl"
The brown eyes excited and almost in tears
"Bethany!"i said running to my older sister almost in tears.It had been years since i had seen her.
"Oh my gosh i missed you so much"she said hugging me tighter than before
"Mommy"i heard a little boy with big eyes whisper
"Is this little Joseph"
"Yeah"she said smiling the little 4 year old holding on to my older sisters leg
"Hi buddy"i said trying to shake his hand but he hid on my sisters legs
"He is really shy dont worry about him"
"Its been so long"
"Yeah Joseph had us deployed to hawaii so its been hard to come back and forth but now that you are back i couldnt waste the opportunity,traveling is hard alone its even worse with a little one"
"Im sorry i havent contacted you so much has happened"
"Its fine that means theres more for us to catch up on"
"Uhm welk yeah i didnt come alone my friend Cammie came with me" i said as i introduced the blonde
"She helps me manage the company in New York and we have become great friends"
"Hi" the blue eyes interjected
"Nice to meet you" the older woman replied
"Its kind of time for Josephs nap let me just put him to sleeo and ill be more than hapoy to talk
"Ill help you if you dont mind"
"I mean dont be rude and leave your friend alone"
"Its fine with me please take your time"

I walked down the stairs and said hi to Bethany but kept going down the stairs and found the blonde all alone
"Hi"i said sitting in front of the blue eyes girl
"Hi" she replied putting down the book she was reading
"Uhm so how did you and Lauren meet?"
"Uhm well Ryan actually gave me the job, i had worked in other companies but yeah i got lucky enough to end up with Lauren"
"Yeah Lauren is amazing"
"I mean she is a hard worker"
"Shes just a greta person in general,she deserves the best"
"Yeah i agree"
"Uhm im sorry im probably just coming at you"
"No its fine so you and Ryan were together?is that how you ajd Lauren met?"
"Uh no actually my brother played sports with Ryan and Lauren and I became friends then many years later Lau-,sorry Ryan and I dated"
"Mhm thats pretty cool, were you friends with her best friend Stevie..?"
"Stevie? You mean Evanna"
"Yeah she lived with Lauren for a bit right?"
"Yeah"i could tell she wanted to know more and instead of me interrigating the blonde i ended up getting interregated myself
"Lauren always talked about Evanna but she didnt really talk about you other than Ryan is there sonething that happened between you two?"
The question ran down my spine i got chills
"Uhm...."she could tell i got uncomfortable
"Sorry i think i asked too much im nobody to be asking these questions"
"Its fine really its just people....people fall apart sometimes"
"Yeah im sorry about that,i dont know what i would do without Lauren,she just amazing in every way"
"Yeah im happy shes back"
"Uhm do you happen to know anything about Evanna Lauren has really missed her but they kinda had a falling"
"Uhm no I actually dont i though Evanna was still in New York"
"I would really like to contact her"
"I can call some numbers and get her here ir at least find out where shes at"
"Youd do that?"
"Yeah,I know how close Lauren and her are"
"Thanks,if you dont mind i think im going to go with Lauren"

"So Cammie hu" my older sister said as she placed Joseph on the bed
"Yeah shes a great friend"
"Thats good,how long have you been a thing"
"We got close in New York"
"Does mom know"
"Yeah she knows we are friends"
"No does she know?"
"About what?"
"Dont act you can fool anybody else but not me"

"Lauren cmon you dont need to hide anymore"
"I dont understand what youre throwing"
"Lauren"she said placing a hand on my knee "I dont care who you date as long as you are happy"
"Well for fuck sake i feel like everyone knows im with Cammie"
"Its kind of obvious,i just never really thought you were into blondes"
"Yeah well.....wait"
"You know,When Ryan told me he was marrying Camila the first person I thought about was you"
"Why?"
"You two were so clos ei just thought there was always something going on between the both of you"
I looked down at my hands and played eith my fibgers knowing i wouldnt be able to lie to my sister
"Did you guys have something going on?"
I looked up at her face she didnt seem shocked,i saw the sorrow and sadness for me thay i felt after Ryan married Lauren
"It wasnt meant to be"
"Does Ryan know?"
"No,and thats how it should be"
"But Lauren"
"I dont want to talk about her Beth,she broke my heart she left me for my brother,she betrayed me and theres nothing i couldve done about it"
"You couldve told Ryan"
"He loves her and she obviously like him they are going to have a baby,you dont plan a family with someone you dont love"
"It happens Lauren,Joe and I didnt plan on having Joseph but i loved him"
"It doesnt matter if she was a great person she wouldnt of done what she did"
"Yeah,i guess she really wanted to be a Jauregui hu"
"Yeah but i have Cammie now and ill forget her"
"Youre NOT over it"
"I dont think ill fully ever be over her"
"Lauren...."
"I know...I just dont want to hurt Cammie i really like her and i lover her as a person but im not in love with her.....well not yet"
"Dont lose Cammie over her"
A knock interrupted our talk
"Hi Cam"
"Uhm i need to talk to you,if its okay with your sister,sirry i uninterrupted ill just go"
"No no we were just catching up plus Joseph is falling asleep and he wakes up if he doesnt feel anybody next to him plus i also want to rest"
"Ill bring her right back to you thank you"
We walked to my room which was only a couple steps away.Cammie locked the door right after enetering.
"Is everything ok?"
"No."
"Babe whats wrong"
"I cant anymore"
"You cant what?"
