- Next day at school -
As usual I picked up Riley. We were talking at my locker with Farkle and Smackle. Then Lucas and Zay joined us.
"Hey." Zay greeted us. "What y'all talking about?"
"Riley. And Lucas." Smackle smirked at Lucas.
"Well that's interesting." Zay smiled at Lucas who's staring at Riley and me.
"Hey." Someone tapped on my shoulder and I turned around.
"Oh, hey." I smiled. Thor smiled back at me. And completely ignored everyone else.
"Do you have any plans after school? There's this place I want to show you."
"Uh, after school, we're gonna hang at Topanga's to do our homework together."
"Okay, how about after that? I'll buy you dinner." He's still smiling. I don't really know what he's thinking but that look in his eyes. Somehow I feel like I can trust him.
"Well, I guess.." I smiled.
"Maya, you always had dinner at my place after we do our homework." Riley protested.
"Well, you have a boyfriend now, Riley. Why don't you have dinner with Lucas and Maya can go with this hunk." Smackle smiled at Thor.
"Smackle!" Farkle yelled.
"Oh, come on! He's super hot!" Smackle yelled back.
"Yeah, Riles. What's wrong with me having dinner with him?" I pointed my thumb at Thor.
"Maya, he's a senior." Riley whispered. But everyone can still hear her.
"Yeah, Maya. I don't trust him." Lucas suddenly joined in.
"You don't have to trust me Texas boy. Maya trust me and that's all that matter to me." Thor smiled at Lucas.
"Wait, when did you two become friends?" Zay asked and I almost choked.
"Uh.."
"Since I became her friend." Thor cut me. Things suddenly felt awkward.
"Hey, did you find your phone?" I changed the subject.
"Oh, right. About that. Can I borrow your phone for a sec?" I was holding my phone in my hand and he didn't wait for me to say yes. He took my phone from my hand and tapped the screen a few times. Few seconds later something started ringing in his pocket.
"I guess you've find your phone." I raised my eyebrows at him.
"Yeah. My friend found it. Now it has your number in it." He smiled.
"Great." I smiled nervously wishing the bell would ring soon.
"So, I'll pick you up later at Topanga's?" He asked.
"Okay." I agreed. Then the bell finally rang.
"I'll text you later." He winked and walked away.
