(Lian's POV)
"Is this really goodbye?" I anime cry.
Fido is also crying and Rido is continuing to facepalm like there is no tomorrow...
"Look, we'll come visit you a little later, alright?" Rido sighs when Fido latches onto me.
"II'LL COME BACK FOR YOU!!!!"
"I DON'T WANNA GO SEE THE PEDO!!! I WANNA GO SEE THE WIZARD!!!!"
"ENOUGH!"
Fido was thrown off me and I breathed in glorious oxygen with other more harmful gases!
Rido quickly hugged me and I got spun around a few times, thrown between the two before I was put down and started spinning like one of them spinning tops.
"Well, this is as far as we can go." Fido shrugged.
"As soon as you get over this hill, you'll be able to see the gates of the Leaf Village." Rido stated.
I nodded, "When will I see you two again?"
"Pft! This is the longest we've spent together in years!" the two yelled in union and then pointed at each other, "There's no way I'm ever doing that again!"
I laugh at them seeing as they remind me so much of Gwen and Den!! Except my friends actually love each other and don't really want to kill each other.....most of the time....
Whereas these two wanna kill each other for not a reason I know of.
"See you later, Lian!" Fido waved and Rido smiled before they both took off in different directions.
I grinned and started to walk up the hill, and once I got to the top I realised that they weren't lying...I can see the gates and....
"HOLY TURTLE!!! THE PLACE IS WRECKED!!!" I yelled and sprinted down the hill towards the gates.
"IZUMO!!! KOTETSU!!!" I screamed coming closer to the gates.
"Huh?"
Two heads appeared out of the booths and they both grinned even when I charged into them.
"YOU'RE ALIVE!!!! YOU'RE ALIVE!!!!" we all yelled at each other laughing.
"Where have you been, kid?" Izumo asked sitting up.
"Um.....Im gonna be honest, I have no clue!" I said realising I could've been in the freaking other world!!
You know, the world where the guns appear from?
Yeah.......they aren't getting them back....
"Hey, there's Naruto trying to cape again..." Kotetsu sighed.
"Naruto!!!" I cheered.
"Lian!!!"
We both tackled each other and I grinned up.....at....him....
"WHY YOU SO TALL MAN?!?!?!?!?!?"
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!?!?!?!"
"Lian's back!"
"Kakashi!" I cheered and slammed into him. "Wait! How did you know I was back?"
"I could hear you from the other side of the village!" he smiled making me sweatdrop.
"Seriously?"
"Seriously." the butt of all ducks smirked.
"Sasuke!" I cheer and try to hug the duck butted boy but he steps outta the way.
"Probably for the best..." I nod.
"And the pink thing would try to hurt you but you'd end up killing her and getting yourself sent to jail." Sasuke explained.
"Aww! You do care!" I smile.
Sasuke's face scrunched up, looking all disgusted. "I don't care about Sakura!"
"Pft! I meant me getting sent to jail!" I grinned.
"Of coarse you did..." Kakashi sighed.
Naruto decided that he would start swinging me around and around like Fido and Rido did earlier.....
.......eh, whatever!
WEEEEEE!!!!
"Hey! I thought I smelt you!"
"Kiba!" I grin and was about to hug him when I realised what're said.
"...you what now?"

Standing in the graveyard, I begged that the tears would stop falling from my eyes, but it seemed that I wasn't in control of my body today as I fell to the ground on my knees.
"Old man..." I whisper staring at the small picture of the loved Hokage....the deceased Hokage....
Sadness was now being replaced by anger...
Anger that Orochimaru came here, wrecked havoc on my village!
He killed hundreds of innocent lives and killed the one man that everybody here loved!
"Why?" I whisper, "Why did this happen....?"
I begin to sob quietly, ignoring the person standing behind me.
Sasuke had told me what happened so I rushed here to.....to be honest, I'm not sure why I came...
Maybe to pay my respects, or to apologise for not helping in time of need...
Or maybe to see if it was true...
When I opened my eyes it was no longer sun setting, but more like stars and moon.
I stopped sobbing and wiped my eyes, knowing that the Hokage wouldn't want me to be mourning.
My breathing was heavy but I was no longer sobbing. Tears occasionally trailed down my cheeks, though.
"Lian...."
I turned around to the person behind me and just let everything out. I broke down again seeing them.
Their arms wrapped around me, letting me cry into them.
"I'm so sorry....I'm so, so sorry!" I cry into Rythian letting him rock is both back and forth.
It would probably look weird, seeing as we were both kneeling in front of each other, in the middle of a graveyard.
"It's alright, Lian..." Rythian whispers.
"Why does it hurt so much? Why is it that I caused you pain? Why did the Hokage leave us all?" I cry, not even caring what was coming out of my mouth anymore.
I could have said 'Ducks rule' and I wouldn't have even noticed!!
"If it hurts so much then it meant that you cared a lot." Rythian stated. "The pain will never go away, but in time it will no longer be a burden but a stepping stone to victory."
"...since when were you so wise?!" I cry.
Rythian sighed and helped me yo stand on my own two feet. "Lian...its alright....the pain will soon heal..."
"I don't want it to heal though..." I mumble, "I don't want to forget the pain that that man caused!"
"I never said anything about forgetting." I froze. "I said that in time the pain will ease and heal, but there will always be a scar to show that you'll never forget."
I gulp and soon my breathing becomes more even. I sigh and wipe my face with both hands.
"Great, I've just humiliated myself in front of you." I smile.
Rythian smiles and shakes his head. "Oh, that reminds me...a...duck came to talk to me the other day?"
"Oh god no...." my eyes are wide with fear. "Steve's going after the ones I care about!"
"Ugh...actually he gave me this message to give you..." Rythian sweatdropped and handed me a piece of paper.
I unfolded it to see a bunch of eggs, and there was some writing underneath the photo.
'These kids of mine will continue to be your enemy when I can't! - Steve'
I sweatdrop and go into Sasuke's emo corner.
"Huh? What is it?" Rythian asks and I show him the message which he sweatdrops at. "What?"
"My arch nemeses is a duck called Steve." I stated making him sigh.
"Come on," Rythian grabbed my arms and started to drag me out of the graveyard. "I've got meat at my house so get up."
I leap up into the air and land on Rythian's back yelling :
'GIDDE UP HORSEY! YA! YA!'

"You're mean when you want food!" Rythian states sitting across from me, looking like he'd taken on the devil himself and somehow lived to tell the tale, while I sat at the table happily! eating meat.
"Say something?" I asked with my 'innocent' look.
"No, nothing at all!" Rythian smiled way too forcefully.
I continued to eat my meat and sighed when I finish. "You, my friend, make incredible meat dishes!"
"Why, thank you, young woman. Anything for dessert?" Rythian asked as I put the plates (yes plural) in the sink.
I froze then slowly turned around. "Do you have um.....any chocolate?"
"Ugh, yeah?" Rythian drawled out then fell over when I, yes me, literally jumped onto him, wide eyes and crazy mode activated.
"Give me the chocolate!" I demanded causing the guy underneath me to laugh.
He suddenly froze though when the sound of loud footsteps was heard from the side of the house.
Rythian jumped up, grabbing my wrist and leading me upstairs. There was no longer any playfulness or joking, Rythian was serious.
He opened the door to what I assumed was his bedroom seeing as it was quite boyish looking and pointed under the bed.
"Lian, please just hide under the bed and sign come out till I say so." Rythian whispered making me raise an eyebrow in confusion.
"Huh? What's going on?" I asked moving the sheets up so I could get under the bed.
"It's.....my dad, he's back from the bar and I don't want him to know you're here." Rythain stated. "He's early tonight..."
"Why do you not want me to meet him?" I asked trying to hide the Hirt in my voice.
Rythian sighed and froze when the door opened from downstairs. "No time to explain!"
"Rythian, tell me!" I begged.
"Rythian!" a gruff and angry voice yelled from downstairs.
"Later!" he promised.
"Where're you going?" I hissed and he closed the door behind him with a small click.
"Yes, what is it dad?"
I grinned. I can hear them through the floorboards!
"Where the hell have you been?!"
"I've been - "
"And don't give me that crap about missions! I've checked and you've been given a whole month of time off!"
"I ugh...I've been out with some people...."
"Who?"
"Um...theres been the Uzumaki kid, the Uchiha boy, umm...theres also been the Nara and Akimichi duo and the youngest child in the....Titan...clan..."
I heard a thud and breaking of glass making me freeze.
"What have I told you about being near girls?!"
"Not......to go near them..." Rythian seemed hurt making me gasp.
I got out from under the bed and opened -
...
It's freaking locked....
"Why have you not to go near them?" the man also known as Rythian's father growled.
"Because they'll hurt me..."
I tried to shake the door open quietly but it may have been that action excluding the world 'quietly'.
"Lian...."
"Who's upstairs, Rythian?"
I heard the creaking of the floor boards on the stairs and started to panic.
Window!
Wait! He has no window?!
Ninja style on the roof?!
Ugh! It's too low...
Bed again?!
No! It'll be too obvious now...
Um...oh turtles what do I do?!?!
I froze when I saw the handle of the door start to turn and gasped when the idea suddenly came to me....

So I wanna apologise if updates have been sort of....later than usual....
My laptop thingy magigy is as slow as they come and I'm having to do this on my iPod so...yeah...takes a little longer than usual....
So, some of you were saying 'oh! when's Steve coming back in?!?!?'
Or something along them lines....
The answer? Probably in the next chapter or two...but first I need to finish this cliffhanger!!!
How did I do with the Rythian X Lian thing?? I dunno....I kinda suck at doing romantic things so ugh yeah....ducks....
