A/n: Only 1400 words here... but that's because I was feeling like crap yesterday I mean seriously my head weighed 200lbs alone LOL and every time I moved my head, the room would spin. So I pretty much just sat in the dark.
Anyways, woke around 4 this morning decided to write.

Chapter 47 – Aftermath, Run. Skip. Hop. Jump. Fly. (Samson Conrad POV) Pt.2
"You do not have a sneaky bone in your body," Silas said, while I just shook my head a devious smile forming on my face, "Well... that is because they're all inside of you," my tone just as teasing as his had been.
He was of course correct in his statement. Growing up knowing we had to be safe seemed to take precedent over every other aspect to me. I was a worrier by nature.

Who do we tell?
Naturally, I would be the one to write that on Fatima's notebook, and while I was more or less asking the group, Fatima was the one that took the pen from me.
No one. I trust you. Her eyes cut to me, then back to her notebook.
And I only trust you two because you are Seraphima and Rhys. Blunt as always, I thought smiling tightly.
There was that Seraphima and Rhys business again.
We need to leave right now!
That pulls me up short, we say we're going for something to eat and we just go. Leave no trail.
Fatima jots down quickly.
The next part she underlines: Anything that can be traced we leave behind!
Once she's shown us all the note, Fatima stands walking over to her black canvas side bag, pushing her notebook inside of it. Glancing at Imogen and Luca, I try to remain calm as my heart starts racing and the realization that Fatima really was leaving and that I was going with her hits me.
It was not dread building inside me though that much I knew.
I didn't want to worry my parents. Dad was already trying to do so much that it felt like dipping out without any warning would be the cruelest thing I could do to him.
To everyone.
Yet, again, this wasn't completely my show to be honest. I was going with what Fatima had suddenly remembered. Her confidence that we needed to run, and that trouble was coming.
Squaring my shoulders, running through the alternative in my mind, I stand walking to her, placing both hands on her shoulders. If trouble is coming, I need to warn my parents... not directly, we can leave a note or something with Nova maybe? Just slip it in her mailbox and get going. By the time they know we're gone, I think we'll have at least a few hours head start. But I cannot let them stay here as sitting ducks... I rush to say the words and it takes maybe ten seconds at the most but when Fatima looks down at her feet, I take a step back.
Rushing through her bag she pulls out the same notebook, I won't tell them where we are going, but I think we should at least warn Ansel. That way he can protect the rest of the people in Bend. Leave and take them with him.
She turns the notebook towards me, and Imogen and Luca come over peering to read as well.
Luca purses his lips, taking the notebook and pen. How do we get in touch with them after?
A concern I was having myself. If we didn't tell them where we were going, how would we know where they were running off too either? Glancing at the three others in the room, Fatima's face is the most blank of all, but from the corner of my eye I see when Imogen thinks of an idea, her eyes brightening and she scrabbles to grab the pen from Luca's hand.
She turns the notebook towards me once she has scribbled her idea.
Luca's dad has satellite phones, the numbers have been the same for years, your dad has them too. Nearly ten or twelve of them right? I nod thinking of the set dad kept in his emergency escape bags. We all had them, a small duffel bag packed under our beds incase we needed to run and do so within a limited time.
Okay, so we take two of those. Leave them off until we need to use them. I nod, inhaling and holding that for a few seconds before letting it out as Fatima once again stuffs her notebook in the black satchel, this time hanging it across her body.
"Whose car are we taking to get dinner?" she asks monotone. And after using the notebook for the last twenty or so minutes, the sound of her voice startles me.
"Mine," I volunteer, "You guys go down ahead, I'm going to get... my wallet," I say a bit forced but one sharp nod and Imogen, Luca and Fatima turn towards her door heading out. I follow them stopping in my fathers' room while they continue along, taking two of the satellite phones and hurrying to my room. Realizing everyone is mostly in the kitchen, I avoid that route and even double back to the garage to my car but am intercepted just as I'm at the front door.
"Your emergency escape bag," I hear from behind me, stilling me when I realize I've been caught. My heart pounding in my chest, and now the dread builds. Sighing I turn around to the voice owner, Brennan.
With nothing to say I stare off at him, blue eyes narrowed at blue eyes. Glancing behind him he takes five steps towards me, as I take them back and soon where just outside.
"How can you even – what are you doing Samson?" he asks between gritted teeth and the urge to tackle Brennan now is stronger than ever. How on Earth was he even attempting to play this role?
"Dad will protect her, you don't have to-" my fist connects with his head, and unlike Fatima, the only sound that is heard is the slight cracking noise that comes from Brennan. The first punch stunning him, the second I throw with all my weight behind it, bringing him down, completely. Leaving him unconscious, I scale the side of the house, ducking near windows, until I jump into my car, tossing the emergency bag with phones and spare clothes to the passenger side of the car where Fatima was waiting.
"What took so long?" Luca asks me but once I've driven by the front of the house and he spots Brennan still down out front he murmurs, "never mind."
"Your mom, dad, Jonah and Mary are at the guesthouse with... the kids," Imogen says, making me slow down when we pass the guesthouse. My heart thundering in my chest. "I said you were just taking me to get my car, that I was going to stay with Fatima tonight," she finishes.
Nodding, I hold my breath and actually slow further until I can no longer see the guesthouse. Attentively aware, I wait for the phone to ring, before realizing that I had left all form of contact at home.
My eyes cutting to the navigation system.
"We need to switch cars," I mumble, "What type of navigation or GPS system does your car have?" I ask Imogen, looking into the rear view mirror heading not out of Bend, but towards the school.
"Uhm... I have maps?" she says uncertain, "in the glove compartment?" Beside Imogen, Luca snickers. The first lighthearted noise I had heard since I walked into the classroom to find Lydia and Fatima facing off.
