"Aphmau!" I look down the street to see Katelyn running towards me.
"Katey!" I hop off of the swing and run to give her a hug. After a second she pulls away.
"Ok that's enough hugging for the couple years." Katelyn says looking at her watch. I laugh as Katelyn pulls a serious face.
"Sooooooo how was your trip?" I asked, walking back and sitting back on the swing. Katelyn sits next to me.
"Im was ok. Pretty boring seeing as it was mostly a business trip for my dad, but ok none the less. What did you do while i was gone?" Katelyn was only gone for a month, but seeing as she is my only and best friend, and i had to deal with Ivy and my dad, it was torturous.
"Eh nothing. Just chilling." I answered simply. Katelyn nodded.
"Did you at least do to he empire state building while you were in New York?" I asked. (Ive been there but i dont have pictures! DARN IT)
"Of course! I know youve always wanted to go to New York but never could so i took pictures!" Katelyn and I spent the next hour or so looking at the pictures on her phone.

"Where were you!" My dad yelled the moment i entered the house.
"I was at the park, remember?" I said.
"Well your late! You were supposed to make me dinner an hour ago!" My dad yelled again. I sighed.
"Ill get right on that." I went into the kitchen and pulled out some pasta. I threw it into a pot and started cutting up some vegetables and put them in the pot as well. As i was stirring the pasta, i looked to the calendar. I gasped and dropped the spoon. The first day of school is in TWO DAYS?!
"Dad!" I yelled up the stairs, knowing i was going to be punished for it.
"What do you want!?" He Yelled back down.
"School is in two days! Can you please please please take me out tomorrow to get school supplies?" I begged.
"Fine! If you shut up!" My dad yelled. I ran back to the pasta.
"Thank you Irene." I sighed of relief.
