Riley
Uh, this is awkward for me, but hi.
ScarJo
Hi
Lizzie
Hiya
Riley
Before I start talking, just wanted to
say I'm a huge fan of both of you.
I already regret sending that.
Lizzie
Aw, thank you sweetie
ScarJo
Thank you x
Riley
I've got a problem, and I thought it
would be easier to talk to you girls
about it than my friends at home...
... cuz they kinda don't know the
details about all this
ScarJo
Go ahead.
Riley
I have a wicked hangover and I
woke up just now with hardly any
recollection of last night... and I'm
in Seb's bed ... and he's asleep ... and
he's holding me ... and I'm freaking
out ...
Lizzie
OMG SCARLETT ITS HAPPENING
ScarJo
Are you wearing clothes?
Riley
Yeah, same clothes as last night
ScarJo
That's always a good sign, 'cause
it means you didn't sleep with him.
Riley
HE JUST SIGHED AND MOVED
I DONT KNOW HOW TO MOVE
WITHOUT WAKING HIM UP
Lizzie
DONT MOVE JUST STAY THERE
Riley
BUT HE'LL WAKE UP AND HE'LL
BE CONFUSED AND OMG GUYS
IM FREAKING OUT
ScarJo
Okay, we need to calm down and
think logically.
Riley
We also need to think quickly, because
I'm pretty sure he's going to wake up
soon.
ScarJo
How are you two cuddling? Is it
like spooning or what?
Riley
Kind of like spooning. His arm is
under my neck but my head is on
his chest. Our legs are like knotted
together and he's holding my hand.
Lizzie
Yeah, that's a bit tricky.
Riley
I'm aware of that.
ScarJo
Try to get a glance at him.
Riley
Okay. Done.
HE SIGHED AGAIN.
Lizzie
You are screwed, my friend.
ScarJo
No freaking out, guys.
We need to stay calm.
Riley
HE'S ABOUT TO WAKE UP
ScarJo
Okay, just slip away. Just do it.
Duck out of his arms and hide.
Riley
What could go wrong?
Sarcasm, by the way.
ScarJo
Figured.
Riley
I'll try your idea, okay?
It's a horrible idea, but I'll try
it because I have no other way
of getting out of this. God, this
is going to be so awkward.

"Hmm," Sebastian hummed, blinking a few times as he awoke from his sleep. It had been a surprisingly nice night's sleep. Just as he released a low groan, his arms hit the firm mattress and the pressure that had previously been forced against his chest disappeared.
He sat up, looking around, and ahead of him sat a very guilty and embarrassed-looking Riley. Her blonde hair was disheveled and her pale face was flushed a rosy pink, the fallen strands of hair framing her beautiful face.
Once Sebastian thought that, he shook his head slightly, blushing. A thump sounded on the wooden floor and Riley exclaimed, spinning around to grab whatever fell off. As she leant over, Seb had to look away, mostly to be a gentleman but also to make sure he didn't react.
"Wh-Why am I here?" She stuttered awkwardly, lifting a dainty hand to rub her forehead in small circles. Hangover.
"Uh, you flew here to visit," he mumbled before realising that's not what she meant. "O-Oh. You mean here?" He gestured to the bed before running his fingers through his messy brown hair. A movement, she decided, that was insanely attractive. She tried not to react at the sight of his biceps contracting and moving as he tugged at the locks, needing something to grip to, but it was very difficult. "You were drunk."
"Did anything happen?" She asked, her voice rushed and fearful. She didn't want to screw up her newfound friendship by doing something dumb, like kissing him. Even though she wanted to . . . She really wanted to. She couldn't stop her eyes from flickering to his pink lips, where his teeth were caught on his bottom lip, and her heart stuttered at the sight of it.
Sebastian's cheeks flushed and her mouth fell open. "No, no," he stammered, trying to cover his back. The kiss clearly didn't mean anything. She was drunk, he knew that. Now, he just has to pretend it never happened. Ha, would be easier if the kiss hadn't been replaying in his mind all night, the lingering thought teased. "Nothing happened. I just carried you up here. You wanted me to stay, I —"
His face was bright pink, but he stopped talking as soon as he saw the smile spread onto her lips. She had to bite down on her bottom lip to try and stop the fond grin playing on her lips, but it didn't work. His eyes dragged down her face, lingering on her lips for longer than he found necessary . . . but he didn't care. "You're so cute when you're flustered, Stan," she said, ruffling his messy brown hair.
Although she'd said it before - in one of their conversations long ago - he couldn't help but chuckle, blushing. Her fingers left his hair and she rose rather unsteadily. Just as she struggled to her feet, a wave of dizziness washed over her and she pressed a palm to her pounding forehead, stumbling back. Sebastian shoved himself upwards, before curling his arms around her to stop her from hurting herself. He was kneeling on his bed when she thumped against him, her back hitting his chest. His hands settled on her curves of her waist, and her mouth instantly dried. She couldn't trust herself to look back at him.
"You alright?" He asked, his voice low in her ear. Shivers ran down her spine and she felt her stomach flip. His fingers moved slowly, purposefully, against her side, touching the bare skin where her shirt had ridden up.
"No." The word tumbled out of her mouth of its own accord. Her body was reacting and she felt her hands shaking. Foggy memories clouded her head, but only one in particular struck her. One where she kissed him. She remembered the feeling of his soft lips on hers and swallowed heavily. "I kissed you."
He sucked in a breath and his fingers stiffened on her side. The memory of it made him go rigid, unable to move. That's when she turned to face him, her blue eyes meeting his, searching his. Their bodies were pressed together and she released a soft breath. "I kissed you," she repeated, her tone a lot more disbelieving.
"Yes," he confirmed, nodding slowly.
"Did you pull back?" She asked, suddenly fearful for his response.
And, to his surprise, he shook his head. That was when she did it again: she kissed him. Her lips brushed his at first, cautious and unsure. The touch was investigative, hardly a touch at all, but her heart flipped all the same. Then, he clutched her waist and pulled her against him, making their mouths slam together. He was surprisingly eager, but she liked it, laughing when he pulled back and began to tickle her neck with his kisses. He then nuzzled his face against her neck and wrapped his arms around her, chuckling to himself. He flattened his hands against her back, making a sigh escape from her parted lips as she curled her arms around his shoulders.
"What does this mean?" She asked, her good mood ruined by the thought.
He pulled back and stared into her eyes. He hadn't been sure of much before, never too sure about what he was doing, but with her he was. So he kissed her and she sighed into the kiss.
