Jeez, she's still sassmau alright.
He signed "When will this Starken fiasco will be over?" he asked myself.
''I should check on The Heroes. If they have any leads on those 'Starkens'.''
He whipped out his phone from his pocket and dialled the number under K.
He put the phone up to his ear and after a few seconds someone picked up.
"Kala here, What's the sitch? Call me, Beep me if you wanna reach me! In this case leave a message cause this is actually voicemail!"
Wow, Kala always on her phone or/and always has her phone near. This is a rare occasion that he gets to voicemail.
He decided against leaving a voicemail. He turned off his phone and put it back into his pocket. He glanced up at the sky, unlike other nights in Phoenix Drop, the sky wasn't filled with stars, clouds were dominating it instead making the sky an ugly blueish gray. Maybe some people would have considered this night sky just as beautiful as a star-filled one. But not to Sly, the only thing about cloud-filled skies he liked was that it most likely gonna rain soon and that it helps him fall asleep.
Unfortunately, he had something else to do this night instead sleeping. He had an hobby of learning about plants lately and he really wanted to see if their are any plant-life around that wasn't around JusticeVille.
Sly put up his hood and headed into the forest past the village. The tree-leaves were very thick so there wasn't much light around. He pulled out a torch out of his bag and illuminated the path infront of him.
So far he hasn't found anything new at all. And here he hoped the lost of sleep was going to worth it.
He looked back, he didn't realise he was already far into the forest, there's no going back now. He continued wandering the forest until he got into a clearing.
"Finally! I'm out of that forest" He thought.
He glanced around and noticed there was a flower bed in the middle of the clearing. Sly walked up to it and noticed that it was filled with an flower he isn't familiar with. He went on his knees and inspected it, it was similar to an rose but instead being rose red it was an mixture of red and purple.
He quickly pulled out an machine out of his bag, (similar to an pokedex) Sly scanned the flower, he waited for the data to enter the machine. Soon enough on the screen appeared the flower and an description of it.
Exodus Malus
This is an rare specimen of flower, it is similar to an rose because its from a family that branches from the rose family. It has especially good medical properties, it is an important ingredient in many life-deciding in many potions and medicines.
Usually it is found in clearing near rivers.
Sly decided not to read the rest seeing as it just complicated, boring stuff. He will read it later. Sly put the machine back into the bag and replaced it with an notebook. Yes, he did have all the plant data in his machine already but who knows what will happen to the machine? So he keeps an notebook with the same data in it. Not exactly the same but similar and a sketch of the plant beside it.
Sly also pulled our an pencil out of his pocket and started writing down the information. He also did a brief sketch of the flower which he will improve later.
After finishing up, he put the notebook back into his bag and the pen into his pocket. Of course he also took one of the flowers as well, putting it into an container.
He stood from the ground and looked up to the sky. The night was still young and he was sure that it was nearly morning. He quickly checked on his phone.

Sly signed, he expected Kala to reply by now. It's worrying, maybe something happend to her? She did usually answer immediately or a few minutes later. Maybe she gotten a new phone? Who knows..
He put his phone away back to his pocket and looked around. He did not remember which way Phoenix Drop was.. .. Well ,Shit.
Okay Sly, stay calm.
Just explore the forest further you might find your way back.
That's the best idea he had currently.
So he headed back into the forest, the sky still filled with clouds. Disgusting.
He looked back down on the ground. He noticed that he was walking on dirt path. It was neatly covered in grass and rocks if you didn't give it a second glance you wouldn't have thought it's a path.
Sly decided to follow it, if it's a oath it must lead somewhere! Right?
So, he did just that.
Eventually, it lead him to yet another clearing. But there was someone there in the middle of the field.
They were sitting in the mode of the field, not moving. Sly decided to step up but before he could the person stood up and put their arm in the air. On their wrist there was an armband with blue light, illuminating the clearing around them.
The armband suddenly disappeared and an hologram appeared a second after infront of the person.
Sly gasped as he saw what the hologram was.
It was him. He regognized those clothes also. His hologram was wearing a suit with a flower pin attached to it.
He wore that suit on his 18th birthday. He vaguely remembers that day.
Suddenly, his hologram moved. It put out his hand to the person as if asking them to dance. Hesitatly the person took the holograms hands. The hologram then twirled the person around showing Sly the persons face.
Jess!
What is Jess doing?!
After the hologram finished twirling her around he continued dancing with her but it was obvious as the dance went on Jess became more and more hesitant. Eventually, she just stopped dancing, the hologram must have been programed just to respond too the dance moves. So seeing as she isn't responding it dissapeared, taking all the light with it.
Aphmau looked around. She looked right at me and smiled.
I felt as if it was my cue to come out so I did just that.
She turned away when i stepped into the clearing. I walked up to her just in time to hear her hiccup.
"I'm... hopeless aren't I?" She suddenly said.
I wanted to respond but she continued.
"As you see I'm hopelessy in love with your Sly. Even after two years.."
She wiped her tears with her hands.
"You know.." Jess continued and looked up at the sky.
"Since you told me that Sly is dead, I think to myself If he can see me through your eyes" she told me.
I want to reveal myself so much. To hug her and tell it's okay. That nothing will harm her. Instead I bite my lip and tighten my knuckled letting her continue.
"What would he say of he saw me now? Would he be proud? Dissapointmented?" She finished, she looked back down teats back into her eyes.
I hug her.
After she said those words I hug her from behind and Bury my head into her back.
"Well, Even if I don't know you just as well as my dad. I think he would be proud. And I think you're pretty great"
She smiles, a small tiny small that changes a lot.
"Thanks." She answers with a lighter tone.
