13. Relaxed

To be honest, I was not unconscious , at all. I heard and saw everything, I don't know how. I just know what happened but I had my eyes closed. Most likely some Thor power.

After Antonio knocked Garroth out he carried him to Kiki's barn, and then went back for me, Laurence and Dante. Soon we all were in beds at Kiki's barn, me continuing to pretend to be unconscious, the rest slowly waking up. After a few minutes all the guards were awake , of course I was still pretending to be unconscious.

''So what exactly happened?'' Laurence asked with confusion in his voice. Dante, him and Garroth just woke up, Dante and Laurence were plain confused while Garroth kept silent. I wasn't surprised after what happened. Fortunaley my bed was hidden behind some hay bales so I wasn't visible to them.

Antonio scratched his head as he sat down at a hay bale ''Basically , me and Lord Aphmau were talking and went to the plaza. We found you three unconscious and a huge wolf pack over you growling.'' He lied smoothly, that story was far from truth.

Garroth sighed in relief , ''Well, I guess we were all reckless. I apologize for causing trouble for you and Lord Aphm- '' He stopped himself and look around ''Where is Lord Aphmau?''

Antonio pointed to me ''Me and her fought the wolf pack and she got injured.''

After that I heard a ruffle of steps running towards me. And soon I was being pushed to lay on my back instead my side. A series of gasps ensued and someone started shaking me, I felt small bits of water falling on my face. After that happened I slowly opened my eyes, to see all three guards above me. Laurence shaking me awake, Garroth crying and Dante with wide eyes with hands over his mouth.

I smiled lightly , they care for me too much. When they say my opened eyes Laurence hugged me , Garroth continued crying but now he was smiling. Dante signed in relief and was smiling too.

"Don't do that ever again" Laurence said with a weak voice , the other two nodded. I sat up slowly and rubbed my eyes "Thank you for worrying about me. But you should know that I'd be fine. Nothing can stop me, and most especially not a pack of wolfs! "

Laurence stood up from our hug and wipes his cheek. It didn't help much, seeing as his cheek was a still a wet mess. He glanced at the other two

"You should be more careful" Garroth managed to say through his tears. Unlike Laurence, he didn't even attempt to hide them.

I signed "You know I can ta-"

"We know you can take of yourself but you are very important to us. We will get worried no matter what" Dante cut me off while placing a hand on my shoulder. "After all what are guards for?"

I chuckled "Okay , Okay I got it" I put my hands up in a defensive motion. "I will stop being so reckless"

"I sure hope so" Garroth laughed.

"You three should go now. Lord Aphmau has to get her rest" Kiki interrupted our bonding moment.

Laurence groaned "Can't we stay?"

After a few minutes of complaining Kiki managed to get them to leave. After that everything went by fast, Kiki started tending to my wounds and some people visited. Lucia even came by with some healing potions and Kawaii-chan with a batch of cookies. Before I knew it was already dark and I was saying goodbye to Kiki.

"Are you sure you don't want me to help you get back home?" Kiki asked once again. "It really wouldn't be a problem for me!"

A smiled and put my hands on her shoulders and looked into her eyes. "I'll be okay, honestly don't worry about me"

Kiki signed and looked away. "Fine.."

A put my hands of her shoulders and walked back a step a bit. "I'll be going then"

I waved her goodbye and started going down the stone path from her barn, I looked up to sky. The sun was setting and the sky was purplish. I turned around the corner.

SLAM!

I hit something hard. I tumbled back onto the ground and groaned. I quickly looked up to see what I hit.
The first thing I saw was a pair of black leather shoes, then a pair of brown pants, then a dark red jacket and under it a white shirt.. I looked up a bit more too see the persons face.

"I'm so sorry Antonio!" I quickly apologize and I sat up , rubbing my head.

Antonio smiled "It's fine, did you get hurt?"

I shook my head "I'm okay"

Antonio pulled out his hand from his jacket and extended it out to me. Feeling Deja Vu I grabbed his hand and he swiftly pulled me up. I let go off his hand and brushed the dirt of myself. I looked back up to him and grinned "Thanks"

"No problem " He answered smugly "But I gotta ask why are you around this late at night M'Lord?"

"I was just coming back from Kiki's barn" I told him "And I can ask you the same question"

He chuckled "Touché" He shrugged "I was about to go and check on you actually."

I smirked "Oh! You were? I'm flattered"

"Yes, I was , you should be grateful I even decided to help you up"

"OOOOOH! I am so grateful! I can't believe; me the small Lord got to talk to the Antoniooo! " I fangirled (fakely) "Please sign my face"

Antonio rolled his eyes "Okay, Okay I get the message."

I laughed "Well duh" I flipped my hair sassily "I'm obviously better than you"

Antonio rolled his eyes "Yea , Yea Got it"
