4. Newcomer

Sly was at Phoenix Drop, finally after a long journey.

He wasn't in his normal suit instead he wore a normal villager outfit with a hood over his face , he didn't want to make much commotion and confuse the villagers here by just landing in their village in a full metal suit.

It was about 6am in the morning and he was walking towards the gate.

When he arrived at the gate , he knocked at the side of the fence to catch attention of the blond person on the other side.

"Huh? Who are you?" The blond asked.

He smiled innocently "I'm just a simple traveller. I wanted to take refugee in this village. "

The blond raised his eyebrow "Wait here, I'm going get our Lord"

"Of course, i'll wait" He answered as the blond went away.

Soon he returned with a raven-haired girl with brown eyes in a purple jacket and pyjama pants and slippers.

"Jess!" Sly thought. "Wait , maybe its someone else who looks like her"

"Good Morning. My guard says you are traveller, correct?" She asked

"Correct, Lord ... ?" He stopped after Lord.

"Aphmau" She introduced herself then turned to her guard. "Let him in"

"Yes , My Lord" the guard said and opened the gates.

Sly went up to Aphmau and went on his knees. He grabbed her hand and kissed it.

"Its my pleasure to meet you M'Lord." He said with cocky grin.

Aphmau jumped a bit on the sudden affection and blushed slightly.
"The pleasure all mine Sir.."

"Antonio is my name" Sly smoothly lied. It was obvious it was Jess but he wanted to mess with her a bit.

He stood up "I just seek shelter here for a few days Lord Aphmau."

His sentence was cut off short when he heard a slight grown coming from the blond guard. He rolled his eyes.

"I would greatly appreciate it , if you allowed me to stay."

She hesitated a bit before answering
"Sure. You may stay at a empty house"

Before continuing she looked at her guard.  "I'll show him where it is. You can go back to your duties "

"Of course Lord Aphmau" the guard gritted his teeth as he went back to the gate.

Sly smirked. He's going to reveal his identity just before he 'leaves'.

"So Antonio" Aphmau started "Follow me to your house"

"Of course M'Lord" He smiled and went after her.

She showed him around Phoenix Drop. From the wheat fields to the Plaza. The last stop was his house.

"I guess this is the last stop" She presented him the small house. "Its nothing grant, after all you're staying only for a few days correct?"

"Right" Sly answered "Je- Lord Aphmau , I'm quite tired from my journey so ill be turning in now. Goodnight"

"Goodnight" Aphmau answered as he went into the house.

Sly closed the door behind him and put his bag on the bed. He looked around. It was a really small house. Well, perfect for visiting.

There was a bed, a dresser and a table with a chair. Nothing fancy.

He sat on the bed and took of his hood. He buried his head in his hands.

"Damn" He smiled with tears in his eyes. "I found her. Finally."

Sly layed on the bed, and soon fell asleep.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

"Goddamit" Sly muttered he was hoping to get some sleep tonight.

He reached over to his bag and pulled out his phone.

Sly rose his eyebrow that was sent a hour ago. He decided to read the rest of the texts.

Sorry it's such a short chapter. I didn't have much inspiration recently.
