RUBY POV
Today was Saturday which is gonna be a very busy day at the coffee shop. Kevin volunteer to work with me. Kevin left the pack since the alpha knew he was going behind his back to give me information, he also admit that he's my protecter. My real parents sent him over to the King-night pack once they knew where I really was. I just don't get it, if they knew where I was, why didn't they come and get me. Kevin told me that they can't leave while the rogues are still out there and ready to attack. I asked Kevin to take me to them but it to risky and it not easy to get over there. So I guess I just have to wait. Oh I forgot to mention Kevin is going to school on Monday and here I thought he was older than me, well I was wrong he around my age, he just acted older for the alpha to believe him.
So here we are working on a Saturday instead of sleeping. There were crazy costumer today, I haven't seen Conner and our friends just yet, there probably have football practice. Man don't I wish I could see him playing football, I wonder if he plays with his shirt off or on. My thought were interrupted by Kevin who was wiggling his eyebrow.
"May I help you Kevin" I said with a smirk on my face,
"Oh I'm just wondering if your gonna stand there all day and picture your mate in a football uniform. " Kevin grinned. How the hell did he know.
"Shut up, I can't wait until you find your mate and you be all dreamy about her" I told him getting back to work. Right there I had a vision.
I saw a teenage girl coming to the coffee shop with a group of friends. They took a seat at the table by the window where they usually seat. I look at the teenage boy who look like Kevin by far away. The girl kept staring at the boy , so did the boy. I heard them mumble mate. I saw the girl close up and my eyes were wide. Miranda is Kevin mate. My vision ended.
Holy shit ! Who would of thought Kevin was Miranda mate. I must tell Kevin right now before my vision comes true.
"Kevin" I yelled. Making him drop the glass of coffee at the costumer. I cover my mouth and hold back a laugh. Oops.
"Look at what you done! You made me drop coffee at the poor man pants. I'm so sorry" Kevin said. The old man looked at us with a glare and went to the washroom to clean himself.
"Kevin you won't believe it but I just had a vision of you finding your mate here." I said right on cue I smell my mate approaching the coffee shops with his friend. Oh my god the vision is coming true.
"Your kidding me. Is that your new ability" Kevin said looking at me impress. I nodded at him.
"And there here" I told him. I heard the door open making the little bell ring. I turn around and saw Miranda and my friends seating at the table by the window. Miranda and the group went tense. Oh crap Kevin forgot to mask his scent. I notice Kevin going over to there table to take there order. I couldn't help but watch.
Miranda and Kevin stared at each others like there no tomorrow. This is just like my vision. Miranda was no longer tense but the guys were still tense knowing there a rogue in the coffee shop. I mind linked Kevin.
"Are you two gonna stare all day or take there order" I mind linked him. Earning a glare from him. I couldn't help but chuckle. Conner was now glazing at me with adore look. I couldn't help but stare back and smile.
"Ruby I need to tell Miranda why I'm here and crossing there territory ,I don't wanna lie to her or worse rejected" Kevin mind linked me with a desperate look.
"Ok we'll tell her after work, tell her to meet us in the woods around noon" I mind linked him. I shut off my mind and got back to work. I notice Emily doesn't work today which was really weird of her. She never miss work whatsoever. I push the thought aside and saw a costumer wearing black all the way back of the store. Is he a hunter? I thought. Well I will never find out if I'm standing here like an idiot.
"Hello I'm ruby and I'll be your waiter for this evening. What can I get you" I greet sweetly. He looked up and stared at me like he knew me. Who was this person, I notice he had the same color eye like me and same hair. Are we related or something. Come on ruby stop thinking crazy thoughts.
"Um yes. I would like a espresso and a tuna salad sandwiches. Please" he said. I wrote down his order and gave it to the Chef that was behind the kitchen.
UNKNOWN POV
I can't believe she alive and well. I thought she was never gonna escape from that hell hole. I'm glad her protecter helped her while she was stuck there all those time. I never thought I would find her. Ever since she was kidnapped I started drinking, doing different girls each day and come home from a party. My parents got sick of it and decided to kick me out of the pack for awhile until I get my shit together. It been years I haven't see my parents, yea I do call them when I get the chance too. Since I left I decided to Search for ruby and pray I find her, which I did.
I need to find out where she lives, that way I could officially talk to her and tell her who I am without her freaking out.
I saw a guy staring at her and she stared back. Are those two mates? I hope they are. I could sense his aura. He alpha and he from the murderous pack. He better not hurt her.
"Here your expresso and your tuna salad sandwich, enjoy" she smiled. And left back to work.
I started eating my lunch and decided to hears ruby and the guy whispering.
"I already told her to meet us in the wood tonight"
"Ok, Miranda need to keep this a secret what Im about to tell her"
"She will"
So there going to the woods later on. Why does she want to keep it a secret though. I will find out later on.
CONNER POV
Who was this rogue? How dare he cross my territory but it seems that ruby knows him. Where though? My thought were all over the places. Miranda couldn't keep her eye off him, are they mates? There no way Miranda is mating a rogue. Call me selfish but I can risk losing my sister and god know if he would hurt her. He probably from the king night pack pack and he was sent by the alpha,
"Miranda I forbid you to see that rogue" I demanded her. She looked at me if I gone mad.
"What why? He my mate for crying out loud"Miranda snapped. How dare she snap at her brother and her future alpha like that.
"I don't care if he your mate. I don't want you near him" I snapped at her.
"I can't believe you. Why would you do this to me! Aren't brother suppose to be happy for there sister to find her mate"she cries,
"I don't want your mate to be a rogue especially if he from the king-night pack" I sneered.
"So let say if your mate was rogue and she from the king-night pack , what would you do huh" she snapped. I knew she had a good point there. So I stayed quite.
"It exactly. Your being such a hypocrite" Miranda said getting up from the table and left. Everyone was looking at us. Even ruby and the rouge were looking. Ruby didn't look happy on what just happen and the rouge looked like he wanted to rip my head off.
"Wow man that really mess up what you just did. I think this alpha shit is getting through your head" Nate said leaving the table. Nate always had Miranda back for anything. I looked at Ian, he had a disappointed look on his face. Great my friends are gaining up on me. I place the bill on the table and left.
RUBY POV
I saw Miranda storm out of the coffee shop, with tear on her eyes. I hold Kevin back and let her some time alone. Nate looked piss off at his own brother and left, and Ian looked disappointed. What did Conner do to make Miranda and the rest piss off. Whatever it is Imm'a find out.
The rest of the evening at been really busy and thank god it was time to go. it was time to meet miranda in the woods. We both had extra clothes in the car since we are gonna tell Miranda about me. Let hope things goes well. I decided to go on my wolf form to make an entrance. Kevin is going first while I stay behind until he calls me. Kevin was standing in the middle of the woods. Right on time Miranda shown up in her human form and went to hug Kevin. They look so good together. I sense someone watching me but I ignore it. Kevin started talking to her smoothly. And telling her why he wanted her to met her here.
"You can came out now" Kevin mind linked. With that I start walking toward them. Miranda gasped and moved back a little. Kevin tell her it okay she won't harm us but just listen to what she gonna say. I could sense her fears toward me, which is a understandable.
I slowly shift into my human form. My bones cracked, I was now on two legs with clothes on, thank god.
"Hey Miranda" I greeted with a smile. Her mouth was wide open and her eye popping out.
She couldn't believe her eye that her bestfriend is a werewolf.
"Your a werewolf , all this time you were a werewolf!" She yelled at me.
"Yes I been a werewolf all this time. But I have a reason to hide myself" I said calmly.
"Well what is it" she said taking a seat on the ground. Me and Kevin joined her.
I started explain her my life style, how I got abusive by my pack, and was treated like a slave. I told her that I'm the one that the alpha wants and why the rouges are coming here. I told her that Kevin here is my protecter and that he been giving me information. So far she understanding me on why I hide myself. I didn't tell her why I didn't want to tell Conner and the rest of the pack yet which I know it gonna be one of her question.
"So your hiding from your pack. And Ryan know what you are and why your hiding. Also your the one that told my grandfather the Information about the king night pack for him to tell us. I wanna know one thing why didn't you tell us especially Conner, he thinks your human. We all think your human expect Ryan " Miranda asked me. I knew she was gonna ask me that question.
" I don't want Conner or the pack in my mess. I can't risk losing you guys, and if I told Conner he probably wouldn't want a broken mate. I told your grandfather to pass down the information about the king night pack" I told her.
"So what type of wolf are you, if I may ask? I notice your eye bright red" she asked me.
"You know there a pure white wolf right" I told her.she nodded. "Well I'm a pure black wolf, not just that I'm royal. We are the rarest wolf of them all. I'm also stronger than the pure whites, not to mention I'm a protecter. I was the one that protected your grandfather pack" I finish explaining.
"Wow" she said. She was taking it quite well.
"So Miranda tell us what happen during the coffee shop" Kevin said anxiously. She gave him a sad smile.
"Conner forbid me to be your mate cause your a rogue. He thinks the king night pack sent you here." Miranda said. I can't believe Conner told her that. I started shaking again and my eyes were probably red again. So if he found out that I'm a rogue, he wouldn't want me and reject me. Well this is getting way to complicated.
"Yea well I'm from that pack but I only was there to protect ruby and watch over her and look, I don't care if the mightily alpha forbid you to see me but that not gonna stop me from seeing you." Kevin said as he grabbed her hand.
"Ruby I know what your thinking when I told you what Conner said in the coffee shop. Don't let it stop you from telling him. It better to tell him then someone else. I promise I won't tell him about you." Miranda smile. I knew she right about that.
"I know and thank you. I just don't like what Conner said to you back in the coffee shop. Yea your probably wondering why my eye are bright red is because my wolf take over now and then. So if you see me with sunglasses, you know why. Probably when I see him on Monday my wolf will take over. Just because he our mate doesn't mean it would stop her from coming out and take him down. I'm a protecter, I protect the ones I love." I said to her. She smiles and gave me a hug. We broke apart when we heard a snap behind us.
"Who there" I boomed. Looked ahead of me. I saw a red pare of eyes. The wolf walked forward. I let out a gasp, that wolf look just like me but bigger. The wolf shifted to his human form. It was the same costumer that I saw today at the coffee shop, I even took his order. Why was he spying on us. I let out a growled.
"Calm down ruby" the stranger said. He still had his red eye which mean his wolf took over.
"How you know my name" I snarled. Taking a few step forward.
"My name is Scott. Ruby I'm your brother"Scott said hoping I would believe him.
"I... I have a brother" I stuttered.
"Make it two brothers" scoffed grinned.
"Oh my god. I have two brother. Is he here" I told him anxiously.
"No he back with our parents. No I can't take you to them yet. I haven't seen them since over a year and I'll explain that later but can we get out of here." Scott said. Shivering. I nodded.
"Ill take Miranda home" Kevin suggested.
"Bye ruby" Miranda said
"Bye Miranda" I yelled back. I looked back at Scott and nodded. We both shift into our black wolf and ran to my apartment. I can't believe I have two brothers, I have a lot to ask him. I wonder if he would like to join me to school on Monday along with Kevin. Then there Conner, he gonna get hell from me on Monday just watch.
