Hi! So, this is just a mini-introductory A/N.
So, my name is Abigail (call me Abi!) ! I started writing this story when I was 14 years old, in March 2016.
Basically, this story is about a 15-16 year old girl who will be adopted by the Broadway cast of Hamilton.
I really hope that you read past the prologue, a lot of people have really enjoyed this story, and that just makes me so happy.

Two years ago my parents went on a trip to Las Vegas and gambled away everything. I knew something was bad when they came home early. They didn't have the money to keep me anymore, before I knew it, my own parents willing let me go into the awful world of foster homes.
I wish things in Foster homes weren't as bad as they were made out to be, but they were. Over 2 years, I went through 5 families, and only one of those families gave a crap about me. I remember moving in with them, they were a couple named Marjie and Jim Smith and they couldn't have kids, so naturally, they were looking to adopt, I was 13 when I moved in and it was great, they cared about me more than my own parents, until one day that summer. I remember it like it was yesterday.
"Abigail? Could you come down here for a minute, Marj and I need to talk to you!" Jim yelled up to me, I knew something was wrong right off the bat, Jim always told me to call Marjie and him, mom and dad, because that's all they wanted to be.
"Yeah? What's up?" I said coming into the blue and white living room.
"Sweetie, could you sit down please?" Marjie gestures towards the sky blue couch behind me and I tentatively sat down. "So we have some news for you." Marjie said shyly holding her husbands hand
"Marjie's pregnant!" Jim blurted out and I smiled wildly.
"Really?! Is it a boy or a girl, do you know? This is such great news!" I was näive and small, I had no idea what this meant for me.
"Well... It's a girl," Marjie began, "her name is Crysta and she's due in 7 months."
"That's so exciting! I always wanted to be a sister!" I exclaimed, a smile spreading over my face
"Oh, well that's what we have to talk to you about," Jim began and my heart sank, "We really love you, but we're going to have our own biological child and, well, it would be easier with only one kid, and we would prefer it to be our own." My heart sank right into my stomach and I wanted to cry, "It's not that we don't love you, we really do, but you'll find another great family, we promise."
I have yet to find another great family. Maybe I never will. It's been 2 years and things have only gotten worse, I can only go down I guess.
