Chapter 18 PART 1
Niall’s POV
“I’d hold onto her tight tonight if you don’t want her going anywhere!
P.S. I may, or may not have had something to do with you early release – Josh”
As soon as I got the text, I started getting frustrated. I now knew exactly what Josh was capable of and I knew I couldn’t do this by myself, especially with that gang of his. The best way to get Josh gone is by getting arrested. Right now I didn’t know how I would do that but I knew for a fact that I had to get some help.
I crawled out of bed and walked down to Liam’s room. I lightly knocked on the door to see if he was in there. After a couple of minutes of silence I walked upstairs. It was only three in the afternoon so I knew he was awake.
I got up the 20 something stairs and saw Liam sitting on the couch with the computer on his lap. I casually walked by seeing he was on twitter. I headed to the kitchen to grab a glass of orange juice, I leaned against the counter, and tried thinking of what to do. How am I going to tell Liam? Of course he knows that Josh is here but how can I tell him about the text? He is going to go mad once he sees it. He’s been looking forward to having Dani come out for a few days to visit and now he is going to have to deal Josh and hoping Jade stays safe. In order to beat Josh, we have to beat him at his own game and I am sure with the help of the lads we can all get this jerk thrown in jail…or even prison. Yeah I like prison better. After all he did abuse Jade…hmm I don’t know I will figure this all out soon hopefully before it’s too late.
Soon I was pulled out of my thoughts by Liam barging into the kitchen. “Hey mate, how are you feeling?” He walked over to the fridge and pulled out a water bottle before standing next to me. I shook my head and let out a soft sigh.
“Josh texted me,” It’s like the entire world just completely stopped. Liam had dropped the bottle of water and just stood there.
After what seemed like forever Liam finally spoke up. “Let me see.” I handed him my phone and tried to back away as far as possible in case he went mad and tried killing someone. He stood there for a minute reading the bold text that was right in front him before looking over at me. I could see anger, frustration, worry, fear all flash in his eyes. If looks could kill, I would be dead ten times over.
He slammed my phone down on the counter before walking out of the kitchen and passed the living room to downstairs. I had no clue what he was thinking but I knew it wasn’t good. I rushed after him as he just headed straight to mine and Jades bedroom. He stood at the door looking around the room furiously. “Where is she?!” He shouted at me. I jumped at the sound of his voice. It was full of anger and curiosity. I slightly pushed passed him and walked to the bed where Jade was previously laying. I moved all of the pillows and blankets around seeing the bed completely empty. I walked over to the bathroom and opened the door to notice she was not in there either. I started panicking. Liam followed my every footstep and looked at me puzzled when we didn’t find Jade in here.
“Ma-Maybe she went outside?” I asked nervously. How could Jade just up and disappear? Liam walked out our backdoor, searching the spa, the pool and hot tub. We walked around the front but no matter where we looked, Jade was not in sight. You could tell Liam was trying his best to hold back the tears that threatened to escape but the more we looked around and didn’t find her, the harder the tears were to hold back. We both walked inside and headed to Zayn’s room. I guess that’s where the other lads decided to play ‘Call Of Duty’ at.
Zayn had an X-Box 360 chillin’ in his room and whenever any of us got bored we would head in there to play some type of game. I am honestly surprised that he is not sick of us always being in his room. He says he needs the company anyway but I think that’s just so he doesn’t think about Perrie and do something stupid. I wonder whatever happened to that girl he had a one night stand with. It’s not like Zayn to sleep around with some stranger. That break-up must have been worse than I thought, but still. I don’t get it.
Once we reached the room Liam practically kicked down the door, looked around, and dropped to the floor. He rested his arms on his knees and covered his face with his hands. Our last hope of Jade being here is now gone. We have looked everywhere. After what happened with Josh and his friends attacking me, Jade would never leave without telling us right? I bent down and gently rubbed Liam’s back. “Call Jade’s phone, NOW!” I yelled the last part. Louis hurriedly dug into his pocket and pulled out his cell phone to dial Jade’s number. She can’t be gone. She just can’t. I held back the tears as best as I could and waited to see if someone, anyone would answer Jade’s phone. I should’ve never left her alone. Especially after that text, I am so fucking stupid! Harry rushed to Liam’s side and joined me in gently rubbing his back soothingly. Zayn rushed to my side and just rested his hand on my back. None of the boys bothered asking what was wrong and I am really thankful for that. I could never answer them even if I, myself knew what exactly was going on. How could she just disappear? Seriously! I only left her in the room by herself for about 30 minutes. Besides, if Josh did try to come and do something wouldn’t we hear him?
I looked up at Louis to see him getting frustrated. “Straight to voicemail eight times,” I could no longer hold them back anymore. My hand fell from Liam’s back and I hid my face in both of my hands. I let the salty wet tears stream down my face silently. I was shaking and sobbing so bad along with Liam. Every once in a while Liam would mutter things like “no this can’t be” or “this isn’t happening, it’s not true. Zayn, Harry, and Louis just sat there clueless not really knowing what to do. They just sat there trying to calm us down, occasionally whispering things like “It’s going to be okay.” Or “Don’t worry we will get ahold of her.

While I remained a nervous wreck, Liam started calming down. We had both been crying a good hour or so. Once Liam was eligible to talk he stood up and just stared off into space. “Jade, she…she’s gone. We can’t find her.” He said barely above a whisper. “And it is all of Niall’s fault!” He yelled out. I looked up shocked and saw him staring at me with eyes that could kill.
“Ex-excuse me?” I mumbled. I get that I fucked up and shouldn’t have left her alone. That doesn’t mean Liam can make me feel like shit even more. I have to find her. I have to get her back. I can’t let her stay with that cocky bastard. All Josh is going to do is torment her even more. I stood up and looked Liam directly in the eyes, anger taking over completely over. “You have NO right to put all of this on me. I fucked up, I get it. That doesn’t mean I need you there to remind me!” I pushed past him and headed back to my room. Liam rushed after me and started yelling at me.
“I fucking trusted you Niall. First you go and meet up with Josh, get your ass beat and now leave my cousin with the prick? It’s your fault she’s gone Niall! No one knows where she is at this very moment or if she is even alive! Don’t you get it?! Why the fuck did you leave down here by herself? You read the text! Are you that stupid?!” By now I had it. I’m sick of him yelling at me. Instead of standing her yelling and wasting time we could be looking for her! I pushed Liam back until his back was against the wall. My fist was balled up and it took everything not to hit him.
“And are YOU aware of the fact that we are wasting fucking time arguing when we could be out looking?! Did that thought cross your mind or were you to busy being an idiot to realize it!” I spat out. Using all the force Liam had, he pushed me back before mumbling something that I couldn’t understand. “I-I’m sorry what was that?”
“I SAID that I knew leaving her with you was the biggest mistake of my life! You can’t be trusted just like the rest of them! You are going to do nothing but cause her pain and heartbreak anyway. I should have just allowed her to move in with my parents. At least THEY would’ve never even let Josh come near her! Instead I move her in with us, let her date you and well look where that has got us. Fucking nowhere!” He does realize that I am not the only person staying here with her right? Before I can say or do anything else, Louis speaks up.
“Guys, it’s a note!” He picked up a piece of paper of the night stand and started reading it. “Hahahah can’t say I didn’t warn you. (; I knew you’d go for help leaving her by herself, giving me all of the access to get to her. Take one step forward 5 steps back. I’m always ahead of the game Niall. You and your little pathetic friends stand no chance. Don’t worry Jade is safe…for now. However, if she does not do what I say…well I am sure you can guess what comes next. You are probably wondering ‘how can I get my beautiful Jade back? Oh my, where are they?’ Well the answers are, yes you can get her back. Only problem with saving a life, is sacrificing a life. I told you, if I can’t have Jade, I want you Niall. Sacrifice your life and Jade goes back home. You have my number, text or call me whenever you are ready to give in. I’ll be waiting – Josh”
This is just some sick joke to him! He doesn’t care about Jade, he just loves seeing her in pain. I think back to what Liam said. ‘You can’t be trusted just like the rest of them!’ ‘You are going to do nothing but cause her pain and heartbreak anyway.’
I love Jade and would do anything for her. That’s why we need a massive plan. Stop these games. And show him he can’t treat Jade like that, or any girl for that matter!
“We need a plan!” Everyone except Liam looked at me with evil smirks on their faces. Liam still looked like he wanted to murder me.
Jade’s POV
I wake up to a tight feeling around my ankles and wrists. I look around and notice it’s completely dark. Whatever I am in is moving. I shift around uncomfortably and realized that tight feeling was rope rubbing up against my skin. I am sitting up and completely tied up. I tried to scream but it comes out muffled. I have a crap ton of tape on my mouth. I look around once again and try to see if I notice anything about my surroundings but absolutely nothing comes to mind. Its pitch black, I can hardly see anything. I notice there are boxes piled up near me but that’s about it. I try to wiggle around again and do my best to ignore the pain shooting through my entire body at the moment. I knock over a box and see a bunch of pill bottles come out. I hear someone yelling but I can’t make out what their exactly saying. Next thing I know, I am punched three times in the ribs and once in the head. I cry out in pain before passing out.

2 hours later

“What are you talking about? It’s perfect. He won’t last a day. He cares too much.
“Of course I do, but what’s more important?”
“Exactly, people will know.”
“Alright bye,”
I woke up to a bright light shining right down on my face practically blinding me. I have no clue where I am or what’s going on. I catch bits and pieces of conversations but never enough to give me any answers. I don’t recognize any of the voices but they sound serious and like their on a mission. They keep talking about some guy but I can’t make out whom. I know somewhere; Josh is in the mix of this. Hell he is probably the cause of all of this. I am hungry, my mouth is dry and I am exhausted, though I don’t see why. I can tell I’ve been out for quite a while. I can’t see anything that is in this mystery place. This light is killing me.
I try to move but soon groan out in pain. I am still tied up. Only now I have no tape covering my mouth. I scream out and not a minute later Josh and two other guys walk in. “I see someone’s finally awake.” Josh mocked and shot me a wink.
“Stop the shit and let me go!” My voice cracked and I try to hold back tears as I feel more pain shoot through me. I was punched in my side. I look over and see a guy Josh came in with smiling at me as if he didn’t just hit me. I roll my eyes and am hit again.
“It’s easier for you if you would just cooperate with me babe.” I look at Josh and he has some weird belt looking thing in his hand. “Don’t talk back, don’t roll your eyes, don’t cry or whine or scream or even move and we will get along just fine!” I resist the urge to roll my eyes again and look up at Josh.
“Why am I here?” Guy number two who walked in with Josh turns the bright light off and goes to turn on a small lamp while Josh looks me up and down. I start to feel insecure and try to move.
“You are tied up completely. There is no getting out or untied. You are tied up to a hospital bed if you couldn’t tell and you are very secure! Don’t worry, you’ll be out soon” He rambles on and starts running his hand up and down my thigh as I just lie here helpless. Soon enough he starts laughing and looks at me. I look at him confused for a moment before instantly regretting it. One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Six hits to my upper thigh with this oddly shaped belt. I screamed out and pain as tears quickly fell down and more on their way.
I tried moving around but got absolutely nowhere. I took another blow to my upper thigh before guy number one hit me in the head with a paddle, like the ones you use for canoes and boats. Guy number two punched me hard a few times in the stomach before stopping once he heard shouting and things being thrown around outside. Everyone leaves me to lay here in pain as I continuously cry and cry.
I hear some more shouting and then that all too familiar voice.
How did Niall find me?
Next thing I know five guys walk into the room. They all look ready to just kill someone. I start squirming trying to get out but instead I just get punched over and over and over again in all different places. After what seemed like forever of getting hit and after losing a lot of blood and probably suffering many injuries Liam comes running in and starts hitting these guys time and time again. Louis and Harry both eventually come to help. I hear sirens from somewhere outside and see Niall walk in with a police officer. The officer helps take off the rope I am tied up with and puts me onto a stretcher before everything goes black. It all happened way to fast. (I know this sucked, next chapter will consist of how the boys found Jade and saved her! I just wanted Jade’s view on what things were like for her.)

What an intense chapter! This chapter will have a part 2 which will be in Niall’s POV which describes their plan and how they got Jade. Part 2 will also consist of news on Jade and how she is doing and if she is capable of recovery. She took quite bit of hits ): Although she’s been through so much more I wanted a little intake on how she feels about the whole abuse thing. At the end of this book Jade will talk about everything that has happened to her when it came to Josh. So theres a little hint of the future in this book <3 Part 2 will be up in the next couple of days <3
