Sakura POV-
"Of course I said yes forehead!" Ino grinned, Sai had actually asked Ino out.
"Okay, just checking," I grinned, we were on our way to school, we had just got off the bus and we're making our way to the school gates.
"We're gonna go on a double date with Neji and Tenten today," she squealed excitedly,
"Hey, what about me and Sasuke?" I pouted,
"I thought with Sasuke's condition, probably not the best idea,"
"I guess, do you think he'll be in today I really need to tell him something." I said,
"I don't know, ask Naruto," she shrugged her shoulders. I really needed to talk to him right now. I mean i know who killed his parents, it couldn't get more serious. I couldn't talk to him today, my mums got to take me shopping to buy clothes for my dad's funeral on Saturday. I didn't want to put Sasuke before that. That is what my mum would say anyway.
We entered school, still no Sasuke, I sighed, I could tell the police this. I am going to, but why would they trust a teenage girl like me. My dad would of listened if he were here. Well that got depressing fast.
Later in class-
"Okay Sai, quiz!" I smirked, we were in science, but I had to check Sai was suitable for my best friend. I did this with Neji too, although I left him alone after a while, he seemed a bit frustrated.
"Okay," he said confused,
"If your girl friend complains she hungry, and she is a it of a pig, what do you do?" I asked,
"I buy her food, I hope your not referring to Ino as a pig," he raised an eyebrow,
"Of course not! Anyway that's the correct answer. Number two!" I smiled excitedly, "how long are you willing to wait outside changing rooms for your girl friend?"
"Is this really a quiz,"
"Answer the question,"
"Um half an hour, I guess," Sai shook his shoulder,
"Okay, I'm sure she'll make an exception for you as she's your girlfriend," I muttered knowing Ino took longer then 30 minutes in the changing rooms when shopping.
"Question 3! What do you do when your girlfriend is sad?" I asked,
"Comfort her and buy her chocolate," Sai replied,
"Correct, but change chocolate to ice cream, ice cream is Ino's favourite food," I said, "Question 4!"
"Sakura-chan, I'd rather do the work then listen to you right now," Naruto moaned lifting his head of the table,
"Don't then," I laughed,
"Sakura-chan," Naruto moaned,
"Okay, okay, okay, one last one," I promised, "Sai, do you promise not to break my best friends heart,
"I promise," Sai said casually,
"You better, other wise I'm gonna beat the living shit out of you," I out my scary face on,
"Sakura-chan you scare me," Naruto winced,
"Oh yeah, Naruto," I said,
"W-what is it Sakura-chan?" Naruto gulped,
"Do you have a crush on someone?" I asked, back to innocent mode. Naruto sighed.
"I don't know," he said,
"What?" I asked,
"Well, for a long while, I liked you Sakura-chan," he replied, well that you awkward real quick, probably already was for Naruto.
"But," he continued, I inwardly let out a sigh of relieve, there was a but. "I saw how happy you are with Sasuke, and happy Sasuke is with you, I don't think like you in that way anymore,"
"Naruto," that was the sweetest thing I had ever heard coming from the blondes mouth. "That's so sweet,"
"Of course it is Sakura-chan" Naruto chinned,
"Don't ruin the mood," I said,
"I-I won't!" The blonde jumped.
"Have you got your eyes on any other girls?" I smirked, his face went as bright as Karin's hair,
"No!"
"You sure?" I smirked, "haven't got a thing for a certain Hyuga?" Of course I noticed, I was there when he asked her for homework help, I mean he could of gone to anyone,
"Neji?"
"No you dumbass!" I laughed,
"H-hinata?" He stuttered, I nodded, "m-maybe, I mean she's very pretty so anyone could-,"
"Aww Naruto!" I squealed,
"Table at the back keep it down!" Kakashi-sensei said looking up from his book.
"Gomen, sensei," I said, "you really like Hinata!" I whispered,
"Um, maybe," he muttered,
"Maybe means yes!" I smiled, "Hinata's going to be so happy," I grinned as the bell rang in my ears, everyone began to get up and leave,
"Hey what was that?" Naruto asked, still a bit of pink left on his cheeks.
"Nothing Naruto!" I laughed handing my sheet to Kakshi-sensei and leaving the room.
Time skip-after school double date-third person-
"You such an adorable couple!" Ink squealed as Neji held Tenten's on the walk to the restaurant.
"Ino," Tenten's cheeks were bright red but she held her boyfriends bend anyway.
"We're here!" Ino smiled as she pointed to the fancy restaurant in front of her.
"You picked out such a beautiful place," Tenten's looked up in awe,
"As expected from by beautiful girlfriend," Sai smiled causing Ino's cheeks to flush red,
"Shall we go in?" Neji asked as they enetered the restaurant.
"Yup," Ino put extra emphasis on the 'p' sound.
"What do you think of the food?" Ino asked being the source of the conversation here. But the place was beautiful, it was candle lit and peaceful. The table was covered in a romantic red cloth, with a single rose in the middle.
"I like it," Sai nodded,
"Me too," Tenten grinned, "Neji?"
"I like it," he smiled,
"Oh yeah, Neji there's something I wanted to ask you," Ino said,
"Why do you and Naruto always laugh when Sasuke's, let me think of the word," Ino put her hand on her chin, "affectionate to Sakura?"
"It's just out of character, that's all," Neji looked down,
"Oh, are you sure?" Ino asked,
"Yes,"
"Ino's right, it is a little strange," Tenten said,
"I'm going to the toilet, sorry," Neji stood up,
"That makes it obvious Hyuga," Ino said, (I'm sorry Neji is out of character, actually he's always OOC in this story... Sorry)
"There's nothing strange," Neji continued to walk away,
"Neji what's wrongs?" Tenten said, Neji stopped hearing the voice of his girl friend,
"Nothing," Neji continued walking, thinking 'oh shit their not stupid.'
Neji's Pov-
I looked at myself in the mirror, everyone was going to find out at one point, I couldn't help feeling guilty,okay but seriously I feel really guilty. Sasuke looks happy with Sakura, what would happen if I told them. It would break his heart, and Sakura's too. I'm just going to go out there and pretend it never happened, I mean, who's Sasuke?
"Hyuga, tell us now," Ino and Tenten were waiting by the door,
"What?" I pretended to know nothing,
"You know what we mean, if you don't tell us I'm gonna pull your beautiful purple eyes out of their sockets," Tenten said,
"Erm-," okay, she's scarier,
"What's wrong with Sakura's and Sasuke's relationship," Ino held a folk to my chin. I could see Sai waiting impatiently at the table.
"Maybe, we should sit down we're drawing attention," I could see eyes looking at us,
"Fine, but you better tell us," Ino scowled moving back to her boy friend, I sat down at my seat and watch the two girls stared me down.
"What?" I asked,
"Tell us," Ino said,
"If you know something about one of my best friends relationship, you better tell us," Tenten began, "anyway I'm your girlfriend, can't you trust me?"
"Of course! But," I nodded at Ino, who looked at me,
"Thanks," she rolled her eyes,
"Neji, I'm prepared to put our relationship on the line for my friend," Tenten crossed her arms, my heart shattered, maybe I should just tell them. No. But Tenten might. No. I can't betray Sasuke.
"Neji," Tenten grabbed my hand, "please," I couldn't lie to her any longer. I'm sorry Sasuke.
"F-fine," I stuttered, "S-Sasuke's and Sakura's relationship is a-," I could see everyone at the tables eyes on me, "no," I shook my head I can't,
"Seriously!" Ino raged,
"Neji!" Tenten scowled, "is it going to hurt Sakura in anyway," I looked into Tenten's eyes, I couldn't lie to her, I loved her to much,
"Y-yes," I nodded,
"Neji," Tenten muttered,
"The relationship, i-it was a dare, I dared him to ask out one of his fangirls," I looked down at the lap,
"Oh shit," Sai said, Ino covered her mouth, Tenten stared at me in shock.
"No way." Ino whispered.
