Then the next scene shows Mamá Coco moved her direction to the Miguel.
Mamá Coco :"How are you Julio?"
Miguel looked sincere but sad as she couldn't remember his name properly.
"I am so so sorry Mijo I just- " she stopped
"No, no don't you dare apologise it's not your fault dementia is a big monster to fight you had it I couldn't do anything but make new memories and try to help as best I could". Miguel smiled
"Ay Miguel you know I am so lucky". She smiled
"Why?" He coaxed
" I think you know why". Coco chuckled and winked
Miguel: "Actually my name is Miguel , Mamá Coco has trouble remembering things but it's good to talk to her anyway so I tell her pretty much anything ".
Miguel : " I used to run like this and Now I run like this it's just way faster
The next few scenes flip though and show one of Miguel running normal and then one of him jogging and Coco 's face is blank.
"Ay no". Miguel blushed embarrassed
"You really do tell her everything don't you?" Rosa chuckled
He nodded and smiled.
" I thought you were just joking". Abel stated
"Why would I joke about that?" He asked
"Don't worry Mijo What he doesn't know stays between us". Coco winked
"Si". He chuckled
"The favouritism card has been pulled". Abel stated
" I don't know what you are getting at". Miguel laughed
"Oh we know right Rosa?" He asked his sister
"Si". Rosa smiled
"Shut up". Miguel shooed
Héctor smiles at this, Imelda knows where this has led to and chuckled at the antics and smiled.
"Don't act like you don't do it to Mi Amor you pull it even though you shouldn't be". Imelda smirked
"She's right Papá Héctor ". Victoria agrees
"Yes and I am pretty proud of it". Héctor whispered
"Hey at least I'm not the only one". Bruno smiled
"Bruno". Pepa slapped his arm
"What it's true isn't it?" He chuckled
Pepa, Julieta, Imelda, Alma and Victoria shook their heads in disbelief and exasperation at what was just said.
Miguel: " And the winner is luchadora Coco".
It then shows Miguel jumping off the bed with a luchdora costume and mask on and landing on a pillow feathers going everywhere, Meanwhile Coco is just sitting with a Luchadora mask on watching nothing as she was staring into space.
"Ay Miguel never loose that spirit Mijo Okay?" Elena sighed
"Abuelita it's still in here I promise ". He promises
"Seems like you had a lot of fun". Isabela sighed
"Si". He nodded
Hector walked over and whispered to his grandson.
"Thank you for taking care of her for us Mijo". Héctor smiles
"No problem you know I would do anything for Family ". Miguel replies
Héctor nods as he ruffed his grandson's hair
The next scene shows Miguel and his family eating dinner and him showing Coco his only dimple on his face.
Miguel: " I have a dimple on this side but not this side, dimple no dimple , dimple no dimple". As he points to ethier side of his face simultaneously
Abuelita Elena "Ay Miguel eat your food".
He then began eating with the rest of the family smiling as he did so his plate piled with tamales, rice and beans.
"Seems like we can't go anywhere without someone stuffing our faces with food every chance they get". Mirabel replies
"Amen to that sister". Luisa smiled
"You're right there mi Diosa". Miguel agreed
Bruno nodded and laughed.
"Hey be grateful at least we're making sure your healthy and properly feed so you get enough energy to do these crazy stunts of yours". Julieta and Elena stated
"Si, We are more than grateful ". Felix smiled
Miguel: " My Abuelita She's Mamá Coco's daughter ".
Abuelita Elena : " Ay you're a twig Mijo here have some more".
Miguel: "No Gracias ".
Abuelita Elena: " I asked if you would like some more tamales ". Elena gave him a cold stare and he knew he couldn't get out of it
Miguel : " I mean Si".
Abuelita Elena : " That's what I thought you said".
She then stacked his plate high and full of tamales while Miguel look surprised at how much she could fit on the plate.
"You certainly need to eat more Mijo you are a twig". Elena comments
"Now That I think about it Mijo apart from me you take after Papá Héctor quite a lot". Enrique said as he looked between his son and his great grandfather.
"You think?" Miguel coaxed
Luisa smiled and shook her head at this.
"You almost look identical ". Abel said
"Well thank you for that information ". Miguel rolled his eyes
"Si Chamaco I think you could be my doubleganger anytime ". Héctor chuckled
"Thanks but I'd rather be me". Miguel laughed
Miguel : "Abuelita runs our house just like Mamá Imelda did".
It then showed Elena then adjusting the photo on the ofrenda, Before jerking her head to find Miguel playing a bottle and blowing into it she then took the bottle from his hands.
"I am very sorry Mijo I just wanted to look out for you". Elena apologises
"I know and I love you for it, but you do need to ease up just a little bit on the reins okay?" He asked
"Si ". She nodded
"Aww this is so sweet just shows communication is key and I love it". Layla said
Abuelita Elena: "No music".
It then showed Miguel looking out the window as a car drove past blaring music from a radio, Elena then came out of nowhere and shut the window .
Abuelita Elena : " No music".
"Wow you guys really took the whole 'no music' thing seriously didn't you?" Pedro shook his head
"Oh you have no idea". Rosa smiled
"Okay now that I think about it I may have gone a little overboard ". Elena admits
"Huh a little Mi Amor maybe a lot". Franco laughs
"Okay I'd admit it a lot". Elena chuckled
"Mamá did you just do what I think you just did". Enrique looked at his mother with a shook expression
"I think she did Papá ". Socorro smiled
"I am so proud of you my darling you know that right?". Coco said
"Si I know". Elena smiled
"And we couldn't be happier". Julio added
It then showed three very drunk guys singing and playing but they only managed to get a few notes in before Elena caught them.
Abuelita Elena : "No music".
As Elena then shut the door with a huff at the nonsense as the Rivera hacienda rested for the day.
Miguel: " I think we're the only family in Mexico who hates music".
the next day came about and everyone was busy with orders and work, Then Miguel came out and was ready for his job.
Luisa "Be back by lunch Mijo".
Miguel: " Love you Mamá ".
Miguel then looked towards the end of the road to where the plaza was and raced there.
"Ay Miguel What are we gonna do with you?" Luisa sighed
"I don't know Mamá it's just the way I am that's all". Miguel smiled
"One things for sure Mijo you never loose that spirit ". Enrique said
"And proud of it". He nodded
Miguel: " And my family is fine with that , But me I am not like the rest of my family ".
"Ay Miguel ". Elena sighed
"You can sigh all you want Abuelita I am not changing and you can't do anything about it". Miguel smiled

"Si Chiquita ". He nodded
"Mijo we are not saying change who you are". Carmen added
"But you thought you could change me into what you wanted". Miguel starts
Imelda and the rest looked upset at the statement he had just made and they knew deep down he was right .
"Just think about I will never be a shoemaker I will never be something I am not this is why I hide from you because I am afraid if I let you in your going to revert back to your old ways". Miguel exclaimed
Dante came up and offered him comfort as he sat on his lap and whined a little.
"It's okay boy I'm alright ". He reassures him
"Ay Miguel Mijo no one expects you to change just for us we like the way you are and we are sorry we pushed you so hard to be something your not". Imelda answers
"Mamá is right Miguelito we love you just the way you are I know I do". Coco smiled
Gracias Mamá Coco ". Miguel had a small smile
"No that's not gonna work is it." Socorro asked
"What?" He coaxed
"Primos, famila I think we need to you know what". Socorro smirked
Manny and Benny had huge smiles and laughs as they jumped on Miguel he rolled his eyes and chuckled.
"Cuddle pile". Manny announces
"Guys". Miguel whined
Everyone jumped in the cuddle pile with Miguel in the centre as at lasted for a couple of minutes before letting go.
"Better?" Socorro asked
"Much Gracias Chiquita ". Miguel laughed
Mirabel then whispered gently hugged him and smiled.
"I wouldn't change you for the world mi musico , just like me we are too different for them to understand us and yet they do". Mirabel replies
"You think so?" He replied
"I know so and I wouldn't get to be with the man I love if he was any different ". Mirabel smiled
"Te Amo mi Amor Mucho ". Miguel smiled

The next scene shows him passing through the plaza and as he went a lady sweeping the steps outside her house greeted him.
Woman: " Hola Miguel ".
Miguel: "Hola".
As he walked by he saw guitarist play and he joined in with the air guitar with smiles on.
He then tossed a peso to the vendor selling bread and the vendor caught it thanking him in response as he had his breakfast in his hand.
Miguel: " Muchas Gracias ".
Vendor : " De Nada Miguel ".
He went by tapping all of the alerbrije figurines at the stall on the table making a beat as he went Cleary enveloped in the music.
"Ay Chamaco you are really my grandson aren't you?" Héctor chuckled
"Yep it runs through my veins and I couldn't be happier". Miguel smiled
"Ay you two". Imelda smirked
"You can't deny it Papá ". Coco smiled
"I guess not". Héctor laughed
He then banged on a trash can and xolo dog came rolling out as he greeted Miguel and looked at the food in his hands.
Miguel : " Hey Dante ".
Dante's tongue was hanging out as he toppled on to the ground wanting the food.
"Ay you and that mangy mutt". Elena chuckled
"What have I told you?" Elena asked
"Never name a street dog". Miguel shyly smiled
"Exactly and did you listen to me". Elena points to the dog
"No, Besides he's my best friend and my alerbrije and he kind of saves me in all sought of situations ". Miguel replied
Dante jumped up and wagged his tail and barked at the screen as he jumped on Miguel.
"See he agrees". Miguel chuckled
The dog then licks his face and cuddles further in.
"You will always be my Amigo won't you?" He asked the dog
He barked in response.
"Dante is much a part of this family as I am ". Miguel stated
"I will not win here will I ?" Elena asked
Dante barks in agreement.
"Doesn't look like it hermana ". Victoria chuckled
Pepita then came and joined Dante and purred next to him showing she was happy with him.
"Besides deep down Abuelita we all know you have a soft spot for him". Rosa said
"I do not". Elena crossed her arms
"Yes you do". Socorro smiled
"It took me months for you to be begged to actually let him in the house". Miguel recalls
Dante then came over and gently laid down by Elena 's feet.
"I guess your right". She slowly pat the dog
"You know I am right". Miguel smiled
The dog then sat down waiting for Miguel to ask him for training he had been taught.
Miguel: "Sit".
Dante sat down as asked.
Miguel: " down".
He then laid down.
Miguel: "Shake".
Dante Then shook his a body in response tongue still hanging out .
Miguel: "Fist pump".
The dog was confused at what He asking so he just stared at him blankly.
Miguel then fist pumped him anyway and then threw the breakfast treat in the trash can for him to chase.
Miguel: "Good boy Dante ".
"Nice training Chamaco ". Héctor said
"Yeah we're still working on the fist pumping part". Miguel admits
"Still practice is good Mijo ". Coco chuckled
"Si, you're doing a great job". Luisa smiled
The dog then dived in the trash can and chased after the treat. Miguel then ran through to the town a massive statue up head and running his hand across some skeletons in a stall as he went running towards the centre of town.
Miguel:"I know I am not supposed to love music but it's not my fault it's his".
Miguel looked toward the statue of Ernesto do la Cruz with an admirable face.
All the Riveras and Madrigals sneered in disgust, But Ernesto smiled glad for the praise as if he feeds off it.
"Didn't know you admired me that much Miguelito and how the tables have turned". Ernesto smirked
Miguel gritted his teeth.
"Never call me that and this is before I found out what you did you lying pandejo and I wish I found out beforehand you absolutely deserved what you got and I have never been happier, You're the only person I wish the final death on and I hope you suffer the same amount if not more pain than what Papá Héctor went through." He seethed
He smiled apologetic at Héctor and he smiled back.
"Si if you know what's good for you'll keep your mouth shut ". Rosa added
Ernesto knew better than to argue as he saw Isabela whip out her vines...
