Mirabel was helping Héctor with boxes that needed lifting into the attic, Isabela and Rosa were in the garden gardening and pulling weeds with Rosita and Camilo was with the twins playing as well as Coco.
"I think that should be it Mija at least for now". Héctor picked up the last box
"Good cause I don't think I can handle anymore these are pretty heavy". Mirabel wiped some sweat from her brow
"I am with you there Mija ". Héctor agreed
When the two finished they went to the kitchen to grab some refreshments and meet up with the others.
"How did it go?" Pedro asked
"Bueno Abuelo Although the boxes are heavy and a lot of work". Mirabel huffed
"I bet they are Mariposa ". Pedro chuckled
"Aqui ". Luisa handed some lemonade to her
"Gracias ". She smiled
"I'm gonna into town and take a break change the sights a bit if that's okay". She asked
"Of course Mija just be careful ". Pedro warned
"Si". Mirabel nodded as she exited the room
As she left the room Pedro sighed as he smiled full of exasperation and love along with Héctor and Luisa who was smiling.
"Sometimes I just don't know what to do with that girl". Pedro smiled
"Patience is all Pedro she is a smart girl, you just need to wait Besides she balances Miguel out quite easily it's like they were meant to meet". Héctor replies
Luisa gently slapped her grandfather in law on the arm.
"What it's true". Héctor chuckled
"Ay Papá Héctor ". Luisa sighed
Meanwhile as Mirabel was walking around town she spotted the plaza alive with music and dancing and full of love and life it was like the country breathed music, she then spotted some Mariachi sitting on the steps talking they seemed quite friendly and their smiles were wide as they talked.
"Hola". She waved
One of the Mariachi turned around at the voice and smiled at the young girl.
"Hola chica". he smiled
"Forgive me but I've never seen you around here before ". The Mariachi explains
"We are visiting some friends here, I am originally from Columbia ". Mirabel explains
"We?" He coaxed
"Myself and Mi famila". Mirabel answers
"Ah I see and Columbia is beautiful ". He compliments
"Si, it is". She smiled
Just then she heard a yell from another man probably another Mariachi as he came walking forward to the other one and smiled at him.
"Hey Andres where did you put my extra strings?" He asked
"They are in your bag". Andres slapping his head
"Gracias ". He thanked
"I am so sorry about that". Andres waved
"Estas bien". She said
Then the man turned to the young lady and smiled and laughed as he reached for the extra strings in his bag.
"Oh and who is this lovely chica?" The other asked
"This is..." He scratched his head noting that he'd never gotten her name
"Mirabel Madrigal pleased to meet you". She introduces
"Well pleased to meet you Mirabel I'm Jose and this is Andres and that over there is Fernando". Jose introduces
"Pleased to meet you". She shook their hands
Just then Miguel came up holding lemonade for his friends and was surprised to find Mirabel in the plaza.
"Mira I didn't see you there". Miguel stopped
Jose and Andres were confused as they each took a bottle from Miguel to drink.
"Oh, Miguel I was just finished and figured I'd explore the town for awhile and get some fresh air for a bit". Mirabel chuckled
"And I see you have met my friends". Miguel smiled
"Si, they are very nice". Mirabel laughed
"Uh Gracias Señorita um you know each other". Jose was confused but thanked her regardless
"Si, I met Mira on a trip to Columbia and her family too". Miguel explains
"Okay?" Jose coaxed
"Hold on Mijo that's not the full story and I know it". Andres looked him in the eyes
"Really and how do you know?" Miguel asked
"Cause you fidget when you're nervous or not telling the full story". Jose laughed
"Si, something is up ". He looked between the two
Miguel was nervous and Mirabel giggles at how flustered he looked as it reminds her of the first time they met.
"You two are dating I know it". Andres smiles
"Alright you caught me Mira and i courting ". Miguel smirked as he put his hands up
Mirabel chuckled at his antics but Miguel just winked at her.
"Why didn't you say anything ". Fernando asked
"Didn't have to you figured it out ". Miguel laughs
"That's explaining a lot with the songs you're writing lately ". Andres smiled
"I have not." he blushed turning red
"Yes you have". Jose smirked
Mirabel laughs lightly as she smiles at what she's heard and it's very sweet that he would go this far for her.
"Whatever you do Mirabel always know when Miguel fidgets he lies". Jose whispered
"I'll keep that in mind". Mirabel giggles

As they all sat on the steps and talked about everything mostly how Mirabel and Miguel met and what Columbia was like; until finally deciding on getting up and singing a couple more songs before heading back home.
"What shall we sing?" Fernando asked
"How about besame Mucho ". Jose suggests
"No already done". Miguel says
"How about cielo rojo it is one of my favourites and I think it would be nice". She asked
"Bien nice choice Señorita ". Fernando said
"Cielo rojo it is then". Andres replies
They then started play the notes and started of easy when Mirabel starts to sing beautifully and like no ones watching and Miguel is blushing like crazy her voice is beautiful and sweet.

People in the plaza started gathering to watch the girl sing and as Miguel was admiring his love as she sung he thought how lucky he was as they played the plaza filled with music and love and fun as Mirabel continued to sing.

Isabela and Rosa were in the market when the heard the clapping in the plaza and went to check it out and were surprised to find Mirabel singing on the plaza steps as everyone looked in amazement at the girl, Miguel was blushing so red as he had no idea she could sing like that.
"Is that Mirabel?" Isabela asked as She heard the music and singing continue.
"Si I think it is". Rosa smiled
They went around to see her sing and then when they found her they were both surprised that she could sing but happy, they looked ahead and heard her continue.
"I didn't know she could sing like that". Isabela smiled
"Nor did I But she sounds beautiful I mean it's just wonderful ". Rosa Continued
Miguel lokking On with admiration and love as he watched her sing, it was like she was another person and the Mariachi smiled as she sung and people smiled and watched at the young woman as sung her heart out.

As she held that last note everyone was looking on with amazement and surprise as she was finishing up, Isabela and Rosa looking with surprise and happiness as they watched her hold that last note; Meanwhile Miguel was watching her with a sparkle in his eyes as he blushed.

When she finished the whole plaza erupted with cheers and applause at what just happened and with Isabela and Rosa clapping along with them.
She blushed full of embarrassment and grateful for the love that the plaza gave.
"That was amazing Mija". Jose compliments
"Gracias". She thanked
"When did you learn to sing like that?" Miguel asked still surprised
"No se, I just pick it every now and then". Mirabel smiled
"No that wasn't picking it up that was singing ". Miguel compliments
He shook his head with amazement and chuckled lightly at his love.
"What". She asked
"You're Amazing you know that". Miguel smiled
"Cheeky very cheesy ". Mirabel tapped his nose
"Oh well it works". Miguel laughed
Just then Isabela and Rosa came around and saw the two and waved at them.
"Hola". Mirabel waved
"Don't you wave at me Mirabel Valentina Rojas Madrigal you have some explaining to do ". Isabela starts
"What she means is she wants to talk". Rosa calmed her down
"Oh, About what?" She turned her head
"About you singing so beautifully it was... just ... wow". Isabela smiled
"You heard that huh". Mirabel shrugged
"Of course and it was beautiful and I don't think I've heard anyone sing like that". Rosa smiled
"She's right". Miguel smiled

They continued to watch her sing with the Mariachi and they all watched in the plaza as Mirabel sung her heart out with Isa and Rosa by her side. Miguel played happily and full of love and life as he smiled, after a while it was time to leave and she was happy as was the rest who smiled as they waved goodbye to the Mariachi and they waved back.
"Come and sing with us anytime Mija ". Jose smiled
"I will Lo promesa". Mirabel replies
Andres smiled but not before calling to Miguel.
"You take good care of her Mijo she's a fine young lady Alright?" Andres called
"I will don't you worry ". Miguel chuckled
"And it was nice to see you girls Rosa try and not torment Miguel and Isa it was very lovely to meet you". Fernando replies
"You too Amigo ". Isabela smiled
"And no promises Fernando". Rosa laughed
The four of them walked back to the hacienda smiles and laughs all around as they entered the rest were talking and making conversation as they worked .
"Hola You four where have you been". Mamá Coco asked
"The plaza". Rosa said
"I guessed that much". Julieta laughed
"But you should have seen Mirabel she sung and dios Mio the whole plaza shook ". Rosa stated

"Really?" Bruno coaxed
""Si, she sung cielo rojo and it was amazing ". Miguel smiled as he sighed
"It wasn't even that good". Mirabel blushed
"No it was beautiful I didn't even know you could sing like that". Isabela smiled

"Us too". Manny and Benny screamed
Héctor smiled and nodded to Imelda who smiled and laughed.

She started to sing slowly and Imelda and Héctor smiled and the whole family stood and sat in silence as Mirabel sung amazement in everyword and everyone 's eyes sparkled as they watched.

Everyone was amazed that she could sing so beautifully and full of love, laughs and smiles and full of meaning , Imelda smiled at this and Héctor kissed her cheek.
"Que?" She asked
"Reminds me of someone else I know who is burning with fire when she starts to sing". Héctor smiled
"Oh shush you". She slapped his arm lightly and brought him back for a sweet kiss
As Mirabel sung with love and life they watched and Miguel smiled and blushed at hearing her sing it was the best thing he has heard in a long time and every time she sings it's like music to his ears on sunny mornings, honey when the bees come out to play and he wouldn't imagine his life without her.
"You Alright there Mijo?" Enrique chuckled
"I think she's got me under a spell". Miguel joked
"You're right I never seen you more entranced hermano ". Socorro cooed

As she gets deeper and deeper into the song Bruno smiled as he watches her sing with joy, Pepa was wanting to cry along with Luisa and Felix standing by their side; Julieta watched as her baby sung her heart out Augustin proudly smiling along with his father and mother in law.
When she finished the last note Abel and manny, Benny and Socorro smiled along with Dante and Pepita watching and mulling with joy.
"I'm so proud of her" Julieta said
"Me too". Dolores started
"She sings beautifully ". Carmen compliments
"And you said she isn't worthy". Abel stated
"Abel". Elena hissed
"What we need to talk about it ; I mean they forgot she even existed and even her quinceañera which may I remind you is important in a young girl's life they should be sorry for that". Abel stated
"Si I agree I even got my quinces and Mira doesn't even get to have one I mean that's just cruel ". Rosa called out
"Guys it's fine I promise ". Mirabel reassures
"No it's not fine Mira none of this fine it's the complete opposite of fine". Socorro replies
"She's right Mija ". Carmen stood her ground
So did Gloria, Luisa, Rosa and Imelda as well as Enrique and Berto.
"You should have had your quinces by now Mija but instead..." Mamá Coco turned to face Alma angrily and she knew she was In trouble.

The Rivera family looked disappointed as they hated Mirabel's answer so if they wanted this to work they would have to plan this in secret.
"Okay Mira if you say so". Rosa said
But little did she know she and the rest of the Rivera family were planning this for her along with her family they just have to wait for the right time.
"Operation Mirabel's quincesenra is ago". Socorro whispered
"Si, but remember we have to keep this secret from her". Isabela starts
"Si, we don't want to spoil it". Camilo laughs
"What you whispering about?" Mirabel asked
"Nothing". they answered
"Okay something is up and your not gonna tell me". Mirabel smiles

"I'm gonna find out eventually ". She smirked
"We'll see about that ". Abel whistles
They all winked at each other excited to plan this for her.
