Taehyung licked his dry lips before knocking on the door of the study. "Mm.", he heard a humming and he got inside the room and closed the door behind him. "Dad.", Taehyung called his dad who was reading something. "Ah, yes Tae.", his dad said. "Dad. Mm. The 'Night wander', the club, was raided.", Taehyung said. "Yes. I heard it.", his dad replied. "Dad. Our city police arrested a few of them and", he gulped when he saw his dad's full attention on him. "And my friends are in it.", Taehyung said. "Your friends? Wooga?", his dad asked. Taehyung shook his head. "My.. my juniors actually.", he said and his dad hummed. "But dad, they.. they are innocent and are not like that. There might be some misunderstandings. Can.. can you please call the head and ask them to release them.", Taehyung closed his eyes and opened one to look at his dad. "Tae, this is not something I should get involved in. I can't interrupt the duties of my subordinates. And, if they are innocent, they will be released as soon as possible. No need to worry.", his dad said and continued his reading. Taehyung whined when he found his dad's eyes not on him. "Dad. But the thing is the media is involved. Even if they are released, they will write a huge report on it along with their photos. Please dad. I won't ask for anything else. Also one of them is a foreigner. It will affect his stay back here. Please.", Taehyung pleaded but with a blank and serious face even though his heart was hammering inside his ribs. "Media? Tae, then I won't be able to involve it. They will connect us to it and will say the commissioner has an interest in it. Tae. This is not a simple case. It's a drug case. You know the seriousness, right?", his dad closed the tab and kept it aside. "Yes dad. That's why I am saying. Please. I won't ask for something like this again. They.. they are close to me, that's the reason. Please.", Taehyung said. Mr Kim signed. "Let me see the situation.", he said before taking the phone.
"Connect me to the City Inspector.", his dad said on the phone. "Mm. It's the Commissioner speaking. What's the status of the case. Yeah. The drug case. Night Wander.", he asked. "Oh, Good evening sir, Inspector Choi here. We are questioning them, sir.", the inspector replied. "Mm. There are some students from Seoul University. Did you question them?", he asked. "Not yet sir.", he replied. "Question them first and if there is no suspicious evidence, then leave them as soon as possible. And, make sure their name and details won't get involved in this case further.", Mr Kim said. "Yes. Sir. I will do it.", the inspector replied. "Also make sure they are not captured by any of the media. If they are innocent. I want the full protection of those students till they reach their home. It's my order.", Mr Kim said. "Yes sir. We will do the needful.", the inspector replied. "Thank you dad.", Taehyung said and bowed at him. "Did you check the files?", he asked. "Yes dad..I was going through each.", he said. "Mm, anything else?", he asked. "Nothing dad.", Taehyung said before going back to his room. Once he reached the room, he sat on the bed shaking his leg looking at the clock by rubbing his forehead.
Jungkook doesn't know how he reached the dorm. He is still shaking and shivering like he is standing under an ice cold shower. "Jungkook.", Jimin touched the boy who was sitting on the bed wrapping the hands around his body, but Jungkook flinched badly. "Jungkook. It's okay. It's okay. Nothing bad happened.", Jimin hugged him. "Ji..Jimin.. I.. po..police..", Jungkook shuttered as tears started flowing again from his red swollen eyes. "Mm. I heard from Harry.", Jimin said rubbing his back. "I.. I.. I.. co..could only s..see my.. mo..om's and da.d's face.", he said crying. "Wha.. what will the..they do if they know about this?", Jungkook hiccuped. "No.. nobody will know anything. Don't worry. They didn't collect any of your details.", Jimin consoled him. "Oh.. g..god why.. why did I go there? Jimin my mom and dad.. they will die if they get to know about it. There.. there son is being arrested in some drug case? It's better for me to kill myself then.", Jungkook whimpered. "No Jungkook. Nothing like that will happen. Mm. You are safe. You are safe.", Jimin said but both of them blanched when they hard the loud banging on the door. "Let me see.", Jimin moved a little back and stood up. "N..no.. don't open the door. What if? What if it's police?, Jungkook held his hand and shook his head. "No, Jungkook. Police won't come here like that.", Jimin said and went to open the door. He held the door and looked at Jungkook once again, who is looking at him with frightened eyes shaking his head. Jimin took a loud breathe and open the door. But the next moment, like a wind speed someone rushed inside the room. Jimin turned to see who it is and who that person hugging Jungkook tightly. "Taehyung?", Jimin asked and closed the door behind him.
"Did they hurt you somewhere?", Taehyung pulled back a little from the hug only to check Jungkook, who is looking at him with wide Bambi eyes and wobbly lips. "I AM ASKING YOU SOMETHING. DID THEY HURT YOU?", Taehyung shouted. Jungkook shook his head vigorously. "Taehyung. Please. This is a dorm.", Jimin said. Taehyung exhaled sharply and looked at Jungkook's teary eyes. "You said you don't go to club,then why you went?", Taehyung asked still holding Jungkook's hand. Jungkook opened his mouth slightly to answer but only air came out of it. "I am asking you something.", he said with a blank and serious face. "It was Harry's treat as the won the championship yesterday.", Jimin answered instead of Jungkook. Taehyung rubbed his whole face with his hand before resting it on his chin. "Are you both dating?", Taehyung asked the same question again. Jungkook shook his head denying it. "Mm. Did you eat?", he asked. Jungkook again shook his head. "Mm. Eat and sleep. Don't worry nothing will happen.", Taehyung stood up from the bed. "How you know it?", Taehyung looked at Jimin when he heard him. "I have my ways.", Taehyung walked to the door and turned again to look at Jungkook once again before running out of the room. Jimin closed the door behind him and walked to Jungkook. "I will go and get our dinner.", Jimin said and went to the mess to collect dinner. Jungkook wiped his eyes and went to washroom.
That night, Jungkook couldn't sleep for a minute. Whenever he closed his eyes all he think about the police and the station. Even though they didn't do anything to him. He couldn't keep the entire incident that happened and the things might have happened if media and world get to know about it.
Next day, Jungkook was so silent. Even Jimin and Harry tired to cheer him up but later give up as the boy was always lost in his thought. Jungkook didn't see Taehyung after last night. Once Jungkook and Jimin reached back to dorm after class they packed their bag to go back to home as tomorrow is his engagement day.
The trip to home was also completely silent. "Jungkook, don't be like this. Mom and uncle will ask what happened. Then, you will be compelled to explain everything. And it will only hurt them. Leave it, Jungkook. Nobody will know anything. Mm? Nothing bad happened, right? Leave it. Don't overthink.", Jimin said once they took the turning for their residential lane. Jungkook nodded. "Good boy.", Jimin smiled patting his head.
"Bye mom and uncle. I will come tomorrow morning.", Jimin said after dropping Jungkook at his home. "Stay for tonight, Jimina. Jungkook will be tensed, so it might help him.", Mrs Jeon said. "Mm. Okay. Then I will come in an hour. Let me drop my bag at home.", Jimin said and drive off to his home. "You seems tired.", Mrs Jeon tousled the boy's hair who was hugging her like some koala as they walked inside. "Prepare him some tea. Or coffee first.", Mr Jeon said and went behind mom-son duo by carrying Jungkook's bag.
After one hour, Jimin came back. "Jin hyung, isn't he at home?", Jimin asked once the family sat around the dining table to have dinner. "Might have reached by now.", Mrs Jeon said after looking at the clock. "Mm. Let me call and see.", Jimin took his phone out. "No need. I am here.", all the four of them looked at the doorstep at Jin and his mom along with a few tiffin boxes.
"Eat more bun or you will look tired tomorrow.", Jin's mom served some more meat to Jungkook who smiled and continued munching on it. "What is that other box?", Jungkook asked pointing at the box sitting on the teatable. "Oh, it's a small engagement gift for you.", she said smiling as the family ate their dinner.
After dinner, they settled in the living room. "Here. See if you like it or not.", Jin's mom gave him a small red box. Jungkook opened and a small pair of ear ring. "Wow. It's so beautiful.", Jungkook said and took it in his hand and wore it after removing his earring. "See.", Jungkook showed others. "Mm. It's looking good. You don't have much rings that's why we thought to buy a ring type.", Jin said caressing his ear. "Wait. I will show his dress and jewelry.", Mrs Jeon stood and went to her room and came back with everything.
"Blue color will suits him.", Jin's mom said caressing the dress. "This jewelry set is also good.", Jin said looked at it and gave to Jimin to see. "Yes, simple and beautiful. There was other one with some purple stones, but it was so flashy. That's why we selected it.", Jimin said and closed the box as gave to Mrs Jeon. Jungkook pouted and snuggled to his dad more who smiled and kissed his forehead.

In another part of the city, the huge mansion is decorated with illumination and is filled with a small crowd of dear and nears. "Please settle and have the food.", Mrs Kim said to some of the guest and walked to her her husband. "When is the press meet?", one of the guest asked Mr Kim. "Morning 10.", he said smiling. "Oh, it will be the first time, he will be revealing the identity, right?", that person asked. Mr Kim nodded and took a sip of his champagne. "We should be careful and alert from tomorrow onwards. It's a matter for his life, as there are more chances of our enemy attacking him as he will be exposed to public.", another person said. "Mm. That is the only thing concerning me. Till today, I didn't have to bother about it. But tomorrow onwards, more than us our enemies will be alert and will be waiting for an opportunity to hurt him like Joon.", Mr Kim said. "Mm. We haven't received any details about him yet, right?", other person asked. Mr Kim nodded. "It's being six years. Still we don't know if he is alive or not. There is no place left in this world I haven't searched. "If.. if we got the body. We.. we should have atleast think he is no more.", Mr Kim said and caressed his wife's shoulder when he saw the tears in her eyes. "Mm. Don't worry. We will find him one day.", one of the guests said patting Mr Kim's shoulder.
"Are you sure about this?", Wooshik asked the brunette laying on his bed with a glass of champagne in his room away from the party going downstairs. "What is there to be sured of?", Taehyung chuckled. "Once I was born in this family, my fate is being written on that day itself.", he said and took a sip of the champagne. "Mm. Did you see Jungkook, yesterday?", Seojin asked. Taehyung hummed. "Then?", he asked. "He was scared I think. The boy was literally shaking and shivering.", Taehyung said remembering his wobbly lips and flickering eyes. "Mm. It might be his first time facing police.", Hyunsik said. Taehyung nodded. "Hope it won't leave him in trauma", Wooshik said. "Yeah. I was also thinking so.", Taehyung said. "Yoona, did you call her?", Hyunsik asked. "Why should I call her? To congratulate?", Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Yeah. You can do that as a well wisher uncle.", Seojin said and others laughed loudly.
