A/N: Okay, so you know how they have that pool episode. I'm scratching that out, I was going to do an ocean chapter, but it's going to be a lake chapter with the 'bakusquad'. I'm also going to roll out like five fluff chapters, that still move the plot along but aren't going to be rough like the training camp arc chapters. I just wish I had written more cute chapters earlier on.

That last class happened to be the last before break. You, now being a permanent resident of the Bakugo household, were planning on spending the whole day relaxing, but due to a recent surge in hot weather you weren't going to relax anytime soon.
Katsuki was conflicted. You were back, and he was supposed to be happy. He'd missed you which was no secret, but everything seemed to be the same. He knew he should make his move, that he nearly lost you to Junichiro, but he wasn't sure what to do.
Asking Kirishima wouldn't do shit. I mean, he couldn't even confess to his own crush, so how would be help him? So, he decided in the mean time, he'd just spend time with you. At least he couldn't fuck that up.
Katsuki walked up the stairs and to your door, giving it a knock with your free hand. You opened it, sweat dripping down your forhead. He handed to a popsicle, sitting at your desk as you debated opening the window, not knowing if it'd make things better or worse.
"We should probably go out and do something today before we're forced to that training hell hole," he groaned. He didn't seem to be as thrilled for camp as you, but it was understandable to an extent.
Humming in response, you matched the tone of your small fan. Anything would be better than sitting around, and as it on queue, you got a text notification on your phone. From Mina of course. She informed you that Kirishima had invited a few people to the lake for the day.
Katsuki didn't take his eyes off you as you smiled at your phone, and his heart couldn't help but race. He didn't want to think about who you were texting. It was the small stuff like that, that got him nervous. Moments later, he got the text too, from a little group chat just created.
"We should go, It'll be fun," you smiled, slowly getting up and walking to your dresser. Of course he wanted to go, but he wasn't going to let you know that.
"Are you fucking kidding me? I'd rather die," he complained. But the two of you were alone, Kousei had gone home to visit your father for the summer, Katsuki's parents were at work, and you were bored out of your mind.
"If it comes down to it, I'll beat the shit out of you and drag you out of the house. Or you can follow along and quit being such a fucking buzz kill," you laughed, half serious. He groaned but didn't protest as you rummaged through your droors. I mean, if it really came down to it, you'd just call Mina and Kirishima for backup.
Katsuki left the room with a sigh, going to his own to get dressed and pack a small bag. You facetimed Mina short after, hoping to get her input on what you should wear.
She analized as you pulled out different option. Red, black, yellow, orange, all sorts of prints. The beach wasn't something you played about. Back home, you'd spend every chance you could at the lake, so it was only natural you had a ton of options.
Eventually she decided on red, which subtly matched her own hot pink suit.
Quickly, you undressed and put it on, checking it out in the mirror before eventually deciding it was the right choice. Then, grabbing a large t-shirt to use as a cover up, a hat, and pair of sunglasses to match, you headed down to the wait in the living room.
Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero had all agreed to meet at the Bakugos before. Katsuki tried to protest, claiming he didn't want them anywhere near the house, but eventually gave in.
Moments later, Katsuki made his way down the stairs. His face transformed a deep red the second he saw you, and he cursed himself for it. So, when you asked him how you looked, he was conflicted about how he should answer.
"Like an idiot," he groaned, thankfully the heat provided an excuse for his slight blush, and you didn't think much of it because your face was probably red as well.
Shooting him a glare, you geared up to kick him, but ultimately decided against it. Taking a look at his own outfit, you scoffed. It was a pair of orange swim trunks, and his obnoxious punisher t-shirt. (I don't think the creators intended it to look like the Punisher logo, but it does)
"Well, I think you're hot," making a sizzling sound as he fanned himself with his hands. Then you heard a firm knock on the door and headed for it. Mina burst through as your face appeared, grabbing you and jumping up and down.
Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero followed behind and you greeted them all. Katsuki made a few off comments about how they all looked stupid and were acting like idiots. There was a bit of moment where everyone got to talking before you and Mina eventually took the initiative and lead the way.
The two of you seemed to be the most excited for the day to come. I mean, who wouldn't? You and Mina raced up the hill ahead of everyone else, leaving the boys in your wake. Little did you know they were having their own fun.
"Wow, (y/n) is super-hot, isn't she," Kaminari said with a teasing smile, looking right back at Katsuki. Your shirt blew up slightly and you ran with Mina at your side, ever so subtly revealing the hem of your swimsuit.
"HURRY THE FUCK UP!" you screamed at the top, earning a giggle from Mina, which completely snapped Katsuki out of his observation. It was things like that that kept him grounded.
"Yeah, mega hot," Kaminari followed, another shit eating grin.
"Cut it out, you don't have to point out the obvious," Sero laughed. Katsuki took a hard swing at Kaminaris face, yelling something no one could even make out as Kirishima held him back.
"Cut it out guys, save it till the end when we've already had fun," Kirishima tried to reason and not ruin the entire day.
"No can do. It's not like they're even a thing, (y/n) basically already has a boyfriend," Kaminari chuckled.
"Oh yeah, and who would that be?" Kirishima questioned as Katsuki threatened to hit him again.
"Me, you'll see. We're thick as thieves," He laughed, another grin spreading across his face.
"Shut the fuck up shit face. You better watch your fucking back."

"So," Mina started, and by the tone of her voice you knew what she was about to get on. "What are your honest thoughts on Katsuki. I want to know all about it. I mean, the two of you live together," she said, throwing an arm around your shoulder playfully before walking normally once more.
"Hmm, well I guess we're friends. I used to hate him more than anyone in the world, but we're close now," you smiled, eye focused on the road ahead. Mina let out a disappointed sigh before looking back at Kirishima 100 feet back, giving him a devious grin.
Katsuki clenched his fists and began his march forward to stop her, but Kirishima pulled him back.
"Relax man, she's not actually gonna say anything. She knows it will mess everything up if she's the one to tell her," Kirishima said in all honesty. Katsuki was annoyed, but decided if he did choose to react, it would make it all the more suspicious.
"That's not what I mean," she sighed, resting a hand on your shoulder. "Do you like-like him or just like him, because I totally ship it," she said with a wink.
"Well," you started, giving it some serious consideration. "I guess I've never really thought about it before," was all you gave her, but it was a start. "Why do you ask?" then her trail went cold.
"Umm..." she started, like a total idiot. "I guess I was just curious," and thankfully you bought it.

"What the fuck is she saying," Katsuki grumbled, anxiety beginning to pile up.
"I'm sure it's fine," Kirishima reassured, but Katsuki had enough. Quickening him pace and coming up right behind Mina. Grabbing her shoulder, he shoved her back, and began to walk beside you instead.
"What the actual fuck is your problem. Are you stupid?" you said, annoyance laced in your voice.
"Tch, Shut the fuck up. I can walk where I want."
"He's ruining everything," Mina groaned quickly, shaking Kirishima's arm. The two of you argued back and forth, slowly becoming more aggressive.
"I don't think he realizes it. That's probably just his way of flirting," Kirishima reasoned.
"Yeah, well he's acting like an elementary schooler. We gotta fix this," she said with a maniacal smile.
"I don't think-"
"I'm in," Sero said, Kaminari agreeing. So, as they all caught up to the two of you, Mina linked arms with you, Kirishima began a side conversation, and everyone headed to the lake where they'd hatch their master plan.
