Few days later :
The house has never been quiet ever since that day , when Yeonjun and Beomgyu are together , it's pure chaos . They are always at eachother's throat and there's the mediator Taehyun who's so done with them.
But it's more fun this way , they all have been spending more time together now . Even all the five recently went out to watch a movie together , they are all getting along really well.
To be precise , it's been five months since they have started this inheritance contract . Time really flies , and it's time to see how far is their progress in their actual tasks.
" Okay let's see what have you guys done in the past months , Beomgyu stop sprinkling the water at Yeonjun now " Haneul ordered and Beomgyu sat quietly , Yeonjun smirked.
Soobin and Kai sat on the right , Yeonjun and Beomgyu sat on the left , while Taehyun sat next to Haneul. " So starting with the eldest , Choi Yeonjun . He's been attending all the special sessions and meetings well , he also contributed a lot to the recent Spain perfume project . He's been impressing the shareholders well " Haneul said and Yeonjun smiled proudly.
" Good from my side Yeonjun , I know I can expect a lot more from you. But please don't forget about your other task too , your progress here is 60% , and only you know about your progress in the other task . That's it for Yeonjun " Haneul handed over the paper to Yeonjun who nodded.
Yeonjun looked at Soobin for a minute and let out a sigh .
" Next Choi Soobin. Soobin's doing good in his Uni too , his test results are very impressive . But his attendance..., you have to graduate my boy , remember that . Your progress is 50% " Haneul handed over the paper to Soobin who smiled.
" I'll work hard " Soobin assured and Haneul smiled . " Next is our Choi Beomgyu .. " Haneul took the paper .
" Stand up for the king peasants " Beomgyu clapped and everyone rolled their eyes .
" Well he deserves a standing ovation . He's the one with the most progress here , he's been doing amazing with his training . He ranked in Top 10 in all the weekly evaluations , he's been writing songs too and working on his Idol aspects. I'm impressed Beomgyu " Haneul complimented and Beomgyu winked at her .
" But please , listen to your manager too sometimes . Attend the Image building classes too Beomgyu . Your progress is 75% " Haneul handed over the report to Beomgyu.
" Next is Kang Taehyun . He's exceptional in his career , and he's doing well with his academy . With competitions starting this month , I hope Taehyun can do his best in everything . I'm rooting for you " Haneul said and Taehyun nodded smiling.
" But you need to focus on your health more , I know everything is draining you out , but please rest well , there's nothing more important than your life here . Got it Taehyun ? Your progress is 40 % " Haneul handed over the report to Taehyun who smiled warmly.
" And last our maknae Hueningkai , you are attending all the special sessions too , good Kai . But you didn't forget about your other task right ? You have to seriously start soon my boy , I hope you are making plans already . Your progress is 25% " Haneul said handing over the last paper to him.
" This ain't a competition between you all , it's a competition with yourselves . Since all the issues are over and you'll are together now , it's time for you'll to focus on your tasks and complete it asap . The sooner you complete , the sooner you'll will be relieved too . Hwaiting ! " Haneul gave a thumbs up and left .

Chanmi was scrolling her phone seated by the corner in the Cafe . " Hey Chanmi " Kai waved his hands at her as he sat facing her . " Hey there's something missing in your face " Chanmi pointed out.
" What is ? " Kai asked touching his face confusedly . " Your smile , that sunshine smile . Why it's missing today ? Are you fine ? " Chanmi asked worriedly and Kai shook his head.
" Uhh I'm good . It's just I was thinking about something earlier , don't worry " Kai convinced but she still shoot a doubtful glare . " As long as you are fine , I'll not worry . Anyways I've prepared everything for our 1st trip , we are going in 2 days " Chanmi revealed excitedly .
" 2 what ? Where ? " Kai asked surprised . " Jeju island " Chanmi informed . " Since it's our first trip , let's go somewhere in Korea itself . You'll be comfortable with that I guess , or should I change the location ? " Chanmi asked .
" No , I'm good with Jeju . I should go and pack my bags already I guess " Kai said smiling . Chanmi smiled at his adorable smile , that was what she missed . " It's a 3 day 2 night trip tho , we'll catch our flight at 5 in the morning , so sleep early the before night , I'll send you the other details in Whatsapp " Chanmi said and Kai nodded.
" This is gonna be fun " Both of their mindvoices spoke .

Taehyun fell on his bed flat after his training . " I'm hungry but I just wanna slepp righ.t..noww.. " He yawned closing his eyes , drifting to sleep .
After an hour , Beomgyu went to his room. " Taehyunna it's time for dinner ,let's g-- he's sleeping " Beomgyu slowly approached his bed and lied down beside him. He lied down facing him and pulled the bedsheets over.
He twirled the strands of hair falling on Tae's eyes behind his ears and just stopped as if someone paused him at that moment . He was mesmerized by the boy infront of him.
" Was he always this handsome ? Or he got more handsome now ? " Beomgyu thought as he looked at him . Taehyun opened his eyes slowly and looked into Gyu's eyes . Gyu realised his hand was still on the younger's face and removed it , but Taehyun caught his hand.
" What are you doing here? " Taehyun asked with his deep voice . " I just came to call you for dinner I'll leave noww " Beomgyu tried to stand up but Taehyun pinned him in the bed getting on top of him.
" You are still scared of me hyung ? " Taehyun asked with a smirk. " Why would I be ? " Beomgyu asked confidently . " Then why are you sweating so much when the A.C is on ? " Tae added on and Beomgyu coudln't answer it .
" Beomgyu did you call Tae --- Oh sorry wrong room " Soobin just walked away leaving the two dumbfounded .
" He's gonna get the wrong idea , now stop teasing me and move " Beomgyu pushed Taehyun lightly and walked away from his room.
" Teasing him is always fun " Taehyun chuckled as he went down to the dining hall joining others.
Beomgyu's face was as red as tomato , and there's Taehyun who sat next to him like nothing happened . Only the three of them were there , the awkwardness was too much.
" Soobin hyung about what you saw earlier , it's nothing " Beomgyu tried to explain to Soobin who was munching his food . " I didn't ask anything tho , I mean , you'll were having fun but atleast close the door next time " Soobin said with a mischievous smile.
" Hyungg why would I have fun with him , I mean like " , " What's wrong with having fun with me ? " Taehyun interrupted .
" That's not what I meant , I -- " , " How disappointing " Taehyun hissed shaking his head .
" Wahh the tension here is just , wish I had emoji to explain in real life . I'll go and have my dear sleep , you'll can continue , bye kids " Soobin kissed Beomgyu and Taehyun's cheeks before going to his room.
" Did he just kiss us ? " Taehyun asked with his hand on his cheeks . " He's drunk lmao " Beomgyu laughed making the younger laugh too.

Two days later :
It was 3.30 in the morning , Hueningkai took his bags and saw Taehyun , who was deep asleep. He took a sticky note and wrote a message for him and left . It read
' Taehyun is always cute when he's asleep , I'll miss it for two days . Bye Taehyunna '
Kai came out of his room and saw Haneul standing , crossing her arms . " Haneul shi you almost scared me " Kai said with his hands on chest . " Don't lie , scaring you is the toughest thing in this world " Haneul replied.
" You took your tickets and other things right ? " Haneul asked . " Yeah I'm ready , thank you for being awake and sending me off " Kai smiled .
" Afcourse I have to send my youngest safely , car is ready outside . Enjoy your trip , remember you have to write a report when you come back , so take a lot of pictures , eat a lot of good food Hyuka ! " Haneul gave a hug to him.

At the Airport :
Kai looked around and decided to call Chanmi . " Chanmi I'm here near KFC , where are you ? " Kai asked looking around . " I saw you , just turn to your right , I'm here ! " Chanmi said over the call and waved hands at him.
" Kai are you ready for this ! " Chanmi asked excitedly as they boarded the plane . " I think so " Kai said hesitantly . " C'mon I need more energy from you ! I'm with you right ? You'll enjoy this for sure " Chanmi said holding his hand.
Kai smiled at her . " Yeahh LET'S GOO " Kai said excitedly.
They checked in and dropped on their beds tiredly . " Sorry Kai , I couldn't get two rooms , since this is a peak season . Atleast I was able to get two individual beds in this big room " Chanmi said hiding her face .
" Hey it's okay , I like it more this way " Kai smirked . " What do you mean by that ? " Chanmi asked curiously .
" It's scary to stay alone , having you is nice here . It's just for two days right so not an issue haha " Kai laughed and Chanmi gave him a bombastic side eye .
" Let's sleep for an hour , then eat breakfast , and get moving to our first location " Chanmi informed as she set the alarm and both of them drifted to their dreamland.
" The 240 Bus is leaving Omg Kai we need to catch that , that's the only bus to Hallasan National park ! " Chanmi held Kai's hands as she pulled him into the bus . " There was another bus coming behind anyways " Kai said panting .
" Why are you telling me that now ? " Chanmi asked gasping for air . " You didn't let me speak to begin with " Kai said bending down , they practically ran from Hotel to Bus stand as they woke up late.
" We have to climb this mountain ? " Kai asked looking up . " We don't have lifts here , just come with me Kai " Chanmi said as she excitedly started walking .
" She should really love travelling " Kai smiled at her as he followed her . The way up was definitely a sore to legs , but a treat to eyes .
" Hey Kai stand there let me take some pics " Chanmi said as she made him stand and took her camera . He showed some funny poses which made her laugh . " I got some aesthetic pics in between your funny poses " She showed him and he clapped his hands .
" I'll take some for you " Kai said taking the camera , she was just like him . Kai took her pics laughing , they turned out well . " Let's take a selfie " Chanmi said taking her phone , as they posed for some.
" We have been walking for 1 hour now , is this staircase to heaven or something ? " Kai asked gasping for air . " Let's take a look at the map " Chanmi pointed the map.
" We are quite close , we'll reach in 5 mins let's go " Chanmi said linking arms with him . They reached the peak in 10 mins and smiled at the view.
" Now this was worth climbing for " Kai said breathing in the fresh air . " I told you right ? Let's sit for a while " Chanmi said and Kai agreed.
Chanmi took some photos while Kai looked around . " Wah what a place to propose to someone " Chanmi sighed . " Have you dated anyone before ? " Kai asked curiously.
" There was one in Highschool , but he cheated on me with my own bestfriend . He wasn't my type anyways so yeah fvck him . Then maybe I could say Beomgyu and I tried dating for a week , but it didn't work out " Chanmi said as she let out a sigh.
" Can I ask why ? " Kai asked . " Should I tell you the truth ? Actually I liked him very much , he's just too good for me . Even as a friend , he's always very caring and lovely , like who can't fall for him ? I'm not an exception in this " Chanmi said smiling sadly.
" But I know we are not made for eachother . I think I would always love Beomgyu as my bestfriend more . It hurt at the beginning , but I accepted it . I've moved on from him long back , I'm a free bird now " Chanmi said spreading her arms wide.
" I'm proud of you for being able to find out what you want clearly , you're really clever and ambitious " Kai said patting her head , she blushed at that .
" I wish I would find someone who would really be my last love " Chanmi blurted out as she smiled at the view .
