Sukuna carefully observed the ominous black barrier that encased Fairy Town. This enchanted shield enveloped the entire area, plunging the sky into eternal darkness, devoid of any traces of moonlight or stars. It was a pitch-black abyss, seemingly tailored to the advantage of the Skeezites, whose eyes were adept at navigating the darkness created by the barrier.

This made them formidable predators, easily targeting and devouring the unsuspecting fairies who lacked the keen vision of their adversaries. The fairies became easy prey, falling victim to surprise attacks from the Skeezites lurking in the shadows.

From a distance, Sukuna also noticed a fairy guard oblivious to the presence of the barrier. The guard flew straight towards it, only to be forcefully rebuffed upon making contact.

Sukuna watched as the guard futilely attempted to break through the barrier multiple times, their efforts proving fruitless. Eventually, the guard chose to head towards a central building nestled beneath the sheltering embrace of towering trees within Fairy Town.

Do you know what it reminded Sukuna of when this sudden black barrier appeared? It reminded him of Curtain, or more accurately, Curtain which adhered strictly to certain regulations.

These regulations seemed to prohibit any living creature from entering or leaving Fairy Town, except for the Skeezites Sukuna had witnessed. Some of these creatures effortlessly passed through the barrier, almost as if it posed no hindrance to them whatsoever.

It became evident that the creator of this barrier possessed knowledge of Jujutsu, and harbored a deep resentment towards the existence of fairies.

Also, he could sense that it was not exactly cursed energy that flowed within it inside the barrier. It's more likely a Bastard Version of Cursed Energy.

It appeared that the Mastermind purposefully imitated Cursed Energy, indicating at least some understanding how of the Jujutsu Sorcerer works in the field. They must have experimented to create a barrier similar to the ones Jujutsu Sorcerers use.

It's quite interesting to him.

Sukuna turned to face Bibble, who now appeared even more terrified due to the Skeezites wandering around Fairy Town within the boundaries of the strange black barrier. With an evil grin on his lips, Sukuna taunted Elina's pufferball, saying,

"Looks like you're winning the Binding Vow, Brat."

Bibble's eyes widened at Sukuna's words, and fear washed over his pale face when Sukuna abruptly appeared right in front of him as if he had teleported.

Sukuna's face was mere inches away from Bibble's, and his red eyes seemed to shine even brighter within the darkness of the blackened Fairy Town. Sukuna resembled a predator ready to strike its unsuspecting prey.

"So, Brat, which Skeezite should I eliminate first?" Sukuna inquired, his red eyes fixed on Bibble.

Elina paused her frantic run for a moment, taking shelter behind the remains of a demolished building to avoid being spotted by the Skeezites. She needed to collect her thoughts and figure out the right route to reach the Playground, where the two fairy children were trapped.

If the special evacuation building faced East, Elina deduced that she should head towards the left side, away from the building, to reach the northern area of Fairy Town where the Playground was located.

With determination, Elina resumed her race, occasionally halting to hide from the patrolling Skeezites. As she moved closer to the northern area, she noticed that the Skeezites were becoming more active and vigilant, making it harder for her to remain undetected.

Worried and under pressure, Elina whispered to herself, "Come on, Elina, think! What should you do?"

"Aha!"

Recalling the encyclopedic knowledge she had gained during her visit to Ms Topaz's house months ago, Elina's mind raced to remember the weaknesses of the Skeezites aside from their vulnerability to light and sunlight.

Suddenly, a realization struck her. Skeezites had heightened night vision and a keen sense of smell, particularly for fairy odours. So she must find a way to mask her scent, Elina's eyes fell upon a heap of ruins that seemed to be a former alchemist fairy building. Among the debris, she spotted several unbroken glass perfume bottles.

Three perfumes caught her attention, each housed in a different coloured glass bottle: a red bottle labelled "Rose", a yellow bottle labelled "Jasmine", and a green bottle labelled "Agarwood".

Considering her own identity as a flower fairy, Elina deduced that a perfume with a tree scent might be less likely to attract the Skeezites compared to floral fragrances. Choosing the green bottle of perfume, Elina swiftly sprayed it all over her body and stowed the remaining bottle in her sling bag.

She could only hope that this clever ploy would effectively mask her scent from the Skeezites. Peeking out from her hiding place, she cautiously bypassed a Skeezite that was flying dangerously close.

"I hope this works," Elina thought to herself, her green eyes fixed on the daunting journey ahead.

Elina will make every effort just to rescue the two trapped fairy children, despite the perilous consequence of risking her own life becoming a meal for the Skeezites.

Bibble stood frozen, unable to utter a single word as he watched Sukuna's terrifying display of strength. It was no secret that Sukuna possessed immense power, standing taller and more muscular than other male fairies. It was clear that the human physical abilities were far beyond the average fairies.

Just a few days prior, Bibble had seen Sukuna effortlessly crush a large rock with his bare hands, shaping it into an axe. He had also witnessed Sukuna defeat two wild tiger vines without suffering a single scratch. Knowing all this, Bibble should have anticipated Sukuna's ability to easily triumph over the Skeezites.

He shouldn't have been surprised anymore. Yet, how could he pretend that everything was normal when he witnessed Sukuna's swift movements, leaping from one top Skeezite's body to another like a wild animal on the hunt.

His every movement seemed agile and precise as he leapt from one Skeezite to another, mercilessly slashing their heads clean off their bodies with only his bare hands. It was as if he had mastered the art of killing with an eerie agility, leaving no room for doubt or mercy.

Each time Sukuna landed on a new target, the lifeless heads of the previous Skeezite tumbled to the ground with expressions of terror plastered on their faces as their heads rolled on the ground. Bibble's eyes couldn't tear away from the gruesome scene unfolding before him. The horror of it gripped him, evoking a chill that ran down his spine.

Bibble couldn't help but feel a sense of unease, realizing that the Skeezites were far from the mindless monster the fairies had theorized them to be.

The irrefutable evidence stared back at him in the pale, terrified faces of the Skeezites, who trembled as they bore witness to Sukuna's ruthless decapitations of their comrades. It was a grim encounter that etched itself into Bibble's memory, forever haunting him.

"RUN!" they screamed, their voices trembling in panic.

"RUN! THERE'S A MONSTER!"

The irony seemed to seep through the situation, as just moments ago, the Skeezites revealed their perverse delight at feasting on the imprisoned fairies in Fairy Town.

Now, their jubilant cheers were replaced with shrill screams of terror, realizing the predator they so arrogantly disregarded now stood over them, effortlessly conquering them without any semblance of fear.

Sukuna paid no mind to their desperate cries, too engrossed in his blood-soaked frenzy. As Bibble watched in horrified awe, Sukuna brought his wrath down upon one of the unfortunate Skeezites that was near him. The force of his punch shattering its head and spraying brain matter across the ground.

Sukuna's malevolent grin sent shivers down Bibble's spine as he watched the human, reminiscent of a predator playing with its prey before delivering the final, fatal blow.

"BWAHAHAHA! FLEE, You Fucking Pathetic Maggots!"

Sukuna's malicious laughter echoed through the air, taunting the Skeezites for their cowardice in the face of their impending defeat.

Sukuna had to admit to himself that he had gone overboard with his brutal killing of the Skeezites surrounding him. In the heat of the moment, he hadn't even realized that Elina's makeshift robe, a black table curtain, was now stained with the fresh blood of the Skeezites he had slaughtered before.

As a result, the once black robe had taken on a reddish hue and emitted a fishy odour from the blood of his victims. Strangely, Sukuna found some solace in this gruesome act.

It was as if by eliminating the Skeezites, some of the pent-up anger that had been festering inside him for days had finally been released. It brought back memories of his time on Earth when he willingly undertook missions to exterminate curses.

Back then, it was his way of finding respite from the exhaustion and stress he experienced as a General leading the Emperor's troops. While in that position, Sukuna had often encountered individuals he wanted to kill, but couldn't due to their higher rank within the empire.

So, he would unleash his fury on the curses he was assigned to eliminate as a Jujutsu Sorcerer, using them as an outlet for his suppressed rage.

Surprisingly, this wasn't an uncommon practice among Jujutsu Sorcerers. Sukuna even learned of another sorcerer from a distant region who had a peculiar habit of engaging in intimate encounters with curses before annihilating them.

One might argue that Sukuna's way of venting anger at the curses he needed to eliminate was somewhat more conventional compared to the eccentricities of other Jujutsu Sorcerers. Yet, it raises the question: why did no one reprimand or condemn such deviant behaviour? Why's nobody said anything about it?

The answer is rather straightforward. It served everyone's interests. The local people found solace in the eradication of curses that had disturbed their peace, while the empire and Jujutsu Elders reaped gold from what had been given by the locals. Additionally, Jujutsu Sorcerers were content to have an outlet for their pent-up anger, frustration, and even desires. So, in essence, all parties involved benefited from this arrangement, except for the curses themselves.

Sometimes, curses get "special" treatment from the Jujutsu Sorcerers before their inevitable death. This treatment can range from torture to even more revolting acts, such as being subjected to rape before being exorcist by Jujutsu Sorcerers.

Sukuna, in comparison to other Jujutsu Sorcerers, considers himself somewhat merciful, as he opts not to torture the Skeezites before massacring them. Instead, he chooses to kill them by crushing or decapitating their head in an instant, using only his cursed energy-infused hand.

With a single scratch or punch to the head/neck, the Skeezites meet their ends, ensuring a quick and seemingly painless death. It's worth noting that Sukuna refrains from utilizing his cursed techniques, potentially to avoid drawing attention to the green crystal necklace he wears, which can seal his cursed energy if Sukuna releases too much of his cursed energy. As a result, Sukuna conserves most of his cursed energy just to boost his physical attack.

Isn't he being very kind to them?

Sukuna's face twisted into a mocking grin as he witnessed the comical sight of several Skeezites frantically attempting to flee by flying out of the Bastard Version of the Curtain. With lightning speed, he leapt from one tree to another, managing to reach the Curtain before any of the Skeezites could escape, beating them to the punch by touching the curtain first.

Drawing upon his cursed energy, Sukuna seized control of the Bastard Version of the Curtain, forcefully altering its rules. He imposed new regulations that would prevent any Skeezite from leaving the Curtain that encircled Fairy Town.

Confusion marred the faces of the Skeezites as, time and again, they attempted to breach the barrier only to be violently repelled.

"What-..?"

Before they could fully comprehend the situation, Sukuna swiftly massacred the Skeezites in their futile attempt to escape him.
