No body not even your own parents would believe you when you say that Harry was not the womanizer that the news made him out to be. You by choice kept Harry from meeting them just yet.
One day you were running late and he came to the door to check on you. Your father answered, "Hello Mr Styles." he said quite rudely.
"Hello Mr. Y/L/N, where is Y/N?" he pretended not to hear it.
"She'll be out soon." he stood there giving him rude looks until you finally were out and pushing Harry to the car.
"Sorry about my dad he is just well you know a dad." you told him along the way.
"Y/N I want to know them so they like me."
"No way they always bad talk you and they don't seem to want to give you a chance."
That was the end of that. Until the next day.
"Y/N we need to talk to you." your father called you down.
"Hey dad, what's wrong?"
He sat you down, "Y/N, you know your mother and I love you but we don't think that Harry is good for you."
You were going to protest but your mum stopped you, "We know that you like him and all but it's just that you have seen what the papers say."
"Few things, I don't like Harry, I love him. And second you know the papers are full of it."
"Y/N calm down. Just listen to us. Get out of this relationship before it goes to far. We are afraid that you'll end up getting hurt." your mother said.
No matter what you told them they weren't going to believe you so you headed back upstairs. "Believe what you want I don't care. I know the truth and that is all that matters."
"We know the truth too. We don't trust him you can date him all you want but in the end you'll get hurt and we will still be here for you." your father said letting you leave.
Despite them not liking Harry you still planned on going out with him tonight. You were ready to go by the time Harry was here to pick you up. You knew you still looked bad, you were crying but you were going out tonight your parents were not going to dictate your life it's not theirs to control.
You met him outside you were not going to have a repeat of the day before. "Hey Harry you said climbing into the car."
"Y/N are you okay you don't look to well."
You weren't going to tell him about the fight that you just had with your parents but the tears rolling down your cheeks made it clear that something had happened. "Y/N what happened, please tell me?."
"Nothing, just don't worry about it." you wiped the tears away.
He turned the car around and went back to your place, "Harry what are you doing back here?"
He looked over at you before getting out, "I know something is bothering you. I want to know what it is so I am going to ask your mum and dad."
You followed him to the door, "Harry, stop I told you it was nothing."
He looked at you then back at the door, "Sorry but I want to know. I want to help you and I can't unless I know."
He knocked anyway and your mum opened up, "Y/N? Harry? What are you doing back here?" she sounded mad.
This time Harry caught it. "Nevermind." he turned and walked back to the car and you followed him back, "It's them isn't it."
Them as in your parents, "Yes."
"Sorry. I wouldn't not have gone back here if I had known." he looked kinda upset, "Y/N I don't want to cause problems between you and your parents."
"Harry don't worry about it. They have to learn to like you are they will have to get use to you."
