When we got to the marina my father and I parked and got onto our boat before we headed north. I quickly recognized this as the same route I had taken with Nicholi. In another fifteen to twenty minutes we began slowing until we were idling before a beautiful modern styled manor. It was slightly bigger then our home in Forks but not as big as our house here. The exterior was made of a aged red stone that was covered here and there in moss and ivy vines. The windows were white and had blue shutters. I was even able to make out columns standing here and there to support the back porch and wrap around decks.

"This is mine?" I asked.

My father nodded his head as he pressed a button on a pager like item. I turned back to the house and smiled to myself as I watched one of the two water garage doors open. Once we were in the clear my father drove the boat into the garage and resecured the doors.

"This is the first house Carlise, Esme and myself shared as a family." My father said as he stepped out of the boat.

I followed him, my eyes swiftly grazing the room before me. There wasn't much in the water garage except a boat that was sleek and sharp in its look. It was small and looked to only provide room enough for only 5 people.

"Let me give you a tour." My father said before he walked through the only door that led out of the room.

The next room was a small hall. The lighting was dim but bright enough to give the color of the dark brown walls and the thick carpet that ran the length of the stone floors. I noticed near the ceiling and floors there were ornate carvings. A lion holding a shield maybe.

This hall had only two doors. One just to my right and another at the end. The doors matched the dark heavy theme of the walls.

"That's the laundry room." My father said nodding towards the furthest door as he opened the other.

This door led to a large circular foyer of sorts. It was bright in its interior with several lights flanking the walls that were dressed with a white, grey and blue wallpaper. The floors were a white wood and the ceilings were a off white.

"The stairs lead up to the bedrooms. The door to your left is the library and office and the door across from that leads to the main part of the house." my father gestured to each.

I followed him through the door and came into a short hall that branched off with paned white doors. The see-through visual let me know that the sitting room was on the left and the kitchen was on my right.

"The dining room is down the hall to your immeadiate right, or you can access it simply by cutting through the kitchen. The sunroom is accessible by cutting through the sitting room. It is also the shortest route to get to the gardens and green house."

"There is a garden?" I thought vampires tried to avoid the light.

My father smiled. "The garden has always been kept up so its in perfect condition. I also believe harvesting season is soon."

"But you don't eat, why would you need a garden?"

My father shrugged his shoulders. "Before Esme was a vampire she used to grow things, vegatables, fruits, flowers. It was more of a hobby then a chore to her so it stayed with her. Normally she would give the food away to the needy but now that you will be living here you can put it to use."

My father placed his hand on my back and steered me towards the front door where an expensive looking alarm system sat on the wall.

"We had a security system placed for your own saftey. We had our family from Denali come and twerk it so instead of alerting the police it alerts us and only us. If anything breaks in here we will be a short distance away." I nodded my head. "There is also a second control box upstairs in your bedroom along with one more that is inside the panic room."

"Panic room?"

"Just percautions. If something was to happen there is always that minute or two delay to navigate the tunnels. The panic room won't keep out vampires indefinitely but it will surely delay them just long enough for us to get to you."

I gulped nervously as I thought of a senario that involved the Volturi. "You think of everything don't you dad." I chuckled.

He nodded his head and then led me back to the circular foyer that held the stairs to the second floor. There were four large bedrooms, each had their own walk in closet, balcony and oversized bathroom. Each were furnished to a different theme.

"This was my room when we lived here." My father grinned as he pointed to a room with tons of cds, books and large piano in the center.

"No bed?" I quickly questioned.

My father cleared his throat. "Um. No bed." There was a slight pause. "I didn't exactly have a need for a bed for a while." He closed the door and moved to the next one. "This will be your room."

When he opened the double doors my voice caught in my throat. Everything that had been taken out of my room was here. As I walked further into the room a large grin filled my face. It was my bedroom. The decorations, the position of the furniture. Even my bed was set the same.

"We thought you'd be less homesick if you felt like you were at home."

I turned quickly and wrapped my arms snug around my father and held him tight. I clenched my jaw as I felt myself trying to render to sobbs. No. I wasn't going to let my father see my cry anymore. I was an adult so I needed to act like it.

"It took Esme a few weeks but she managed to reconstuct your entire bedroom. Every square in is identical right down to the electronic functions."

"Even my closet?" I asked curiously.

He laughed. "Alice made sure your clothes were restored to their proper place and even added another two hundred outfits."

"So, when do I move in?"

I hoped that it wouldn't be anytime soon. For some reason now that they were letting me go I didn't want to leave.

"You could move in tonight if you wanted to."

I shook my head quickly. "No. I don't want to leave just yet."

"Alright then." My father gently nudged me before leaving the room.

I followed him out of the room, down the stairs and back to the water garage where we got into the boat and headed back home.

It was hard to believe that I had only been in this world for 10 months and I had lived longer then most do in their lifetime. Soon enough I would be living on my own and fending entirely for myself. I had talked alot about wanting these privelages and now I had them. But was this what I truly wanted?

"Everything is going to be fine Renesmee. Your mother and I think you are ready." My father said as he turned away from the steering wheel to face me.

I looked up from my hands that were clasped together in my lap and frowned. "What if you and mom are wrong. What if I'm not ready for this."

"You'll never know if you don't try."

"I won't get to see you much anymore."

My father pressed the auto pilot button and then came and took a seat beside me.

"We can see you everyday if we wanted to Renesmee."

"But what about the sun. You can't risk people seeing you."

"There will always be a way when it comes to you Renesmee. I would risk anything and everything for you."

"Why?"

"When I had first waken into the life I am in now I was told of what I was by Carlisle and he explained about what we do, what we need to do, what we can do and what we can't. One of the things I've always wanted but couldn't have was children. Now after all this time I've proven that fact wrong. I have not just a daughter but an extraordinary daughter." I smile as he grazed my cheek. "You are more then I could ask for, love, and I won't take that for granted. If you ever need your mother or myself we will be there, no questions asked."

Once his sentence ended the auto pilot began to announce the presence of the house. I smiled after my father as he rose to his feet and took control of the boat. Once we were docked my mother was at our side.

"Jake is waiting for you inside." My mother smiled as she ran her fingers through my hair.

"What does he want?"

"He wants to know when you both are moving into the house." My father said as he stared past my mother and out the window where Jake could be seen sitting in the grass.

I growled to myself. "Great idea. Lets move the ex-wolf and his imprint into a house together. What's next a propsal followed by little mutt babies."

"Renesmee!" My mother gasped.

"What, you know its only a matter of time before that thought runs through his head." I snapped back bitterly.

"Watch your tone young lady." My father warned.

"Renesmee, hun." My mother said in a gentle tone.

I took a deep breath to calm myself. "Yes mom."

"Be fair to him."

I bit my lip and gave a slight head nodd before I grabbed my bag and exited the boat.

Maybe my mother was right. Maybe I should tell Jake. The idea of me continuing this act brought up thoughts of Jake and I together. That thought alone was enough to repell me from wanting to lead him on anymore. I needed to nip 'us' in the butt and fast.
