Kelly
I couldn't fucking believe this shit. Keisha being pregnant and Ace not fucking telling me! Not to mention him not answering his phone what if I was dying but he had the nerve to call her! Ugh I was fuming. I paced back and forth in my bedroom trying to figure out what to do. Giving him up wasn't an option I was in too dep now. I took my nine out my waist band and tapped it on the wall trynna think. "Shoot Ace?" "Kill Keisha?" I thought out loud. The sound of someone banging on my door broke me out of my thoughts. I sucked my teeth and stormed towards the door. I wasn't in the mood for guests and I was gonna let whoever was on the other side of that door know that.
"What?" I yelled swinging the door open
"Yo we needa talk." Ace brushed past me and walked into my apartment
I looked at him and then back at the open door way.
"Nigga I know you didn't just walk up in my shit?" I looked at him like he grew 10 heads
"Maaan look shut the door and come sit down." He sucked his teeth patting the seat across from him on the sofa.
I obliged and shut the door and sat on the sofa across from him wearing a mug the entire time. I had to let him know I was beyond mad.
"You might as well put that shit on the table cuz you know you ain't finna shoot me." He looked at my gun and then back at me
"I might shoot you." I mugged
"No you ain't cuz you love me and I love you." He smirked
My face softened for a quick second but I quickly caught myself replacing it with the previous mug I had and placed my gun on the table.
"So talk." I sat back and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Ight I found out about Keisha being pregnant the day we came back from San Juan. I ain't say shit cuz I ain't know how to tell you then all that shit with Reckless popped off and that shit became more important." He sighed
"Did you cheat?" I asked the only question I cared about
"No I haven't touched her since I been fucking with you." He looked me in my eyes so I would know he's telling the truth
"Ok." I shrugged my shoulders
"So you ridin' with me or what?" He smirked
"Til the wheels fall off." I cracked a smile
"That's not all I wanted to talk to you about?" He became serious again
"Ok wassup?" I scrunched up my face watching him take out his gun
"Remember when I told you to let me handle Reckless on my own?"
I nodded for him to continue.
"He told me Tone was trynna set me. He wasn't as Loyal as he claimed to be, and you know I take that Loyalty shit seriously." His eyes became cold and black.
I could feel sweat beats form on my forehead.
"When I first got in this shit I knew I would have to be on my toes all the time, especially since I can barely trust anybody. You know just like our relationship is based off trust? Anyway he also told me some more shit while I was in there so you wanna tell me something?" I watched him as he slowly rose from his seat and walked over towards me.
I felt sick I could feel the vile rising up my throat threatening to spill out of my mouth.
"Mm mm" I shook my head from side to side afraid if I were to open my mouth I would vomit all over my carpet.
"He told me you're a fed." My eyes became big as golf balls, when I heard him say "Fed"
He pressed the barrel of his gun to my temple. I looked at my gun on the table.
"Uh Uh don't even." He grabbed my chin forcing me to lock eyes with him
"Wait wait wait I-I didn't t-tell them anything I swear." I stuttered tears running down my face
"Shh shh." He shushed me
I closed my eyes. I could feel my heart pinging against my chest cavity. Was this really the end?
"Are you a fed?" He asked taking the safety off the gun
"Yes but I don't wanna be anymore." I blurted out all in one breath
"You don't wanna be?" He questioned
"I fell in love with you. I haven't been telling them anything." I stared at him in his eyes
"You fell in love with me? You wanna be a criminal? You risked your job and your freedom for me?" He questioned not believing me.
I shook my head yes.
"Prove it." He coldly replied
"How? I'll do anything just please don't kill me." I rambled on
"Shh shh, You are going to kill Reckless and then hide his body." He slowly whispered in my ear
"O-ok." I never killed anyone before and I knew there was no coming back from this. Once I killed Reckless I was fully converted to the other side. Ace's side.
"But first stand up." He put his gun on the table next to mine
I stood in front of him.
"I fell in love with you too." He confessed picking me up and smashing his lips against mine
I wrapped my legs around his waist accepting his embrace.
Ace
"You know I was never gonna kill you right?" I questioned getting up to put my clothes back on
"You were close enough." She blurted giving me a look I couldn't quiet read
"Don't get me wrong that shit is fucked up but I wouldn't kill you I just wanted to scare you." I shrugged as if it were no big deal.
"You ready?" She ignored my comment pulling on her clothes and putting her gun in her waistband.
"Yeah let's go." I grabbed my keys.
"We taking your car again?" She huffed
"Yeah it's faster that yours." I smirked
"It wasn't when I raced you and won twice." She held up two fingers
"I let you win." I winked opening the front door for her to walk through
Sliding into my whip I sent Draco a quick text letting him know I was on my way. I looked over at Kelly to see her scrolling through her phone.
"Aye I wanna talk to you about something and I need you to be honest with me." I turned the music down and took a quick glance at her
"Shoot." She placed her phone in her lap
"I wanna know everything the Feds have on me. Any type of video footage, wire taps any and all information." I glanced at her again and back at the road
"They don't have much they just know you're the head of the Brick Street organization, they know P and Jonica are under you and they play a small part. They wanted me to use them to get close to you to get to me." She uttered slightly looking down
"Anything on camera or audio?"
"No not really I found out Jason had a camera in my living room so I had him remove it."
"Who the fuck is Jason?" I questioned
"Just my handler, he makes sure I stay safe I'm supposed to report to him every week but I've been blowing him off every since we came back from San Juan." She admitted
"Ight Ight we can use this shit to our advantage." I plotted.
"Ace. I told you I'm all in." She looked over at me and rubbed my forearm.
"I'm glad, cuz you're about to prove it." I replied pulling up to the warehouse.
Kelly
To say I was nervous was an understatement I've never killed anyone before. Holding the fate of someone's life in your hands, was it an adrenaline rush? Was it a crazy high that you only come down from after the life is gone? I was about to find out. This specific warehouse Ace has never taken me to.
"This, is what we call death." He replied after punching in a code on a key pad that unlocked the door.
I walked in. The stench was unlike anything I've ever smelled before. Rotting flesh.
"Does it always smell this bad?" I asked holding my arm over my nose
"You'll get used to it." He shrugged
We walked down a flight of stairs. He stopped Infront of a steel door and gave it 2 quick knocks, The door opened to reveal Draco on the other side. I was relieved to see another familiar face but I didn't let it show. Over in the corner I could see a tied up Reckless with bruises riddling his face and body. Ace walked over to him and I followed closely behind.
"I thought we was gonna be partners?" He spoke blood flying out of his mouth
"Nah ya see I thought about what you said us working together to take down El Salvador and the more I thought about it some shit just didn't sit right. I mean if he is trynna put us together why would I work with you and let my guard down."
The realization showed on his face.
"Exactly plus you killed my right hand. So my girl here is gonna kill you and then the both of us will take out El Salvador." He proclaimed.
"YOU WORKING WITH THIS FED BITCH? AFTER EVERYTHING I TAUGHT YOU, YOU GONNA CHOOSE HER OVER ME?" He screeched.
Without responding Ace took out his gun and handed it to me. I took it and held it in my hands. I held a gun many times but this time felt different. My initiation so to speak. I couldn't punk out like no bitch.
"I should've killed you when I had the chance." Reckless muttered looking dead at Ace
That was all the push I needed I aimed at his head and pulled the trigger without blinking. Brain matter splattered on the wall behind him and his body slumped forward. I looked over at Draco to see him placing a blue tarp on the ground and untying him.
"Now you help him dispose of the body." I heard Ace in my ear
So I did what I was told. We wrapped him up in the tarp and carried him over to a separate room that was once again separated by another steel door.
"You straight?" Draco asked handing me black gloves to put on.
I simply nodded. Behind the second steel door held an Incinerator also known as a cremation oven.
"Let her do it." Ace ordered Draco
He helped me lift Reckless' lifeless body on the slab. and then I pushed him in closing the door.
BONUS PART
"So how are you liking it here?" I glanced over at my mom seeing the mug on her face.
She just rolled her eyes.
"Ma I-I just want you to get better." I looked around at the rehab center Ace helped me check my mom into
Still no response.
"You know one day you're going to thank me for this." I weakly smiled at her
"Are the treatments working?" I questioned hoping she would at least say something
"I don't have a choice since Ace told everyone not to sell me anything." She huffed rolling her eyes
"Ma this is for your own good." I assured her
TIMES UP. I heard from behind me
"Look I'm going to keep coming back until you're better." I gave her one last look before standing up
"Miss." I heard from behind me. I spun around to see her doctor walking towards me.
"Yeah?" I looked her up and down
"Next week we're having therapy sessions for our patients and I think it would really do some good if you came." She beamed
"Are you sure I mean I come every week for family visits and she barely speaks to me." I sighed
"Maybe if you listen to her story about how she became a drug addict in the first place and you explain to her how it was for you growing up maybe we'll have a break through." She was hopeful
"Ok I'll see what I can do." I walked away.
Lord knows I wanted my mom to get better I just wasn't sure going over all the times I went without food, or had to wear my clothes inside out because she used her money to feed her drug habit instead of buying food or using money for laundry was going to help but at this point I'll try anything.
