Abuela Alma :"What are you doing?"
Mirabel: "They were just asking about the family and-"
Alejandra: " She was about to tell us about her super awesome gift ".
Dolores then popped out of nowhere and squeaked whilst holding a laundry basket in her hands.
Dolores: "Oh Mirabel didn't get one hm." She squeaked
"Lo siento Prima I shouldn't have done that and it wasn't my place to tell". Dolores apologises
"Esta bien, you were under a lot of stress with Antonio's ceremony ". Mirabel shook off
"That's no excuse ". Dolores hugged Mirabel
Cecilia: "You didn't get a gift".
"So what if she didn't get a gift it just shows she's strong in her own way and has got way more heart and courage". Socorro piped
"Gracias Coco". Mirabel smiled
Mirabel: "Uh-"
Señor Ovaslado : "Mirabel delivery, I gave you the special since you're the only Madrigal kid with no gift , I call the not special special since you have no gift".
"He is gonna get a stern talking to, he has no right to treat you like that". Julieta said
"I'll do more than that Hermana and strike him no one talks to Mi precious sonbrina like that EVER". Pepa glared
"If it was up to me he'd be getting the boot". Imelda joined in
"No No you don't have to do that besides, I am used to it". Mirabel started
Miguel then jumped out of his seat and headed over To Mirabel leaning down so he could talk to her better.
"Mira that's not healthy to keep things bottled up inside. Trust me when I say I have done it for a long time it hurt but you know what you can always talk about it ". Miguel explains
"Gracias Miguel That means a lot". Mirabel nods
He then held his hand and proceeded to dance with her and spin her around. Miguel could tell how much a smile can change a persons mood and perspective. The families watched as they danced Héctor was smiling and Bruno knew where this was heading.
After the dance was finished Socorro moved seats still next to Miguel but also to Mirabel as she needed some comfort.
Mirabel: "Thanks".
Señor Ovaslado: " Oh Tell Antonio good luck last gift ceremony was a bummer last one being yours that did not work".
"HOW DARE HE!!" Bruno growled
Imelda threw a shoe at the screen anger clear on her features. Héctor crossed his arms Disapprovingly .
"Settle down please". Layla gently chided
Cecilia: "You didn't get a gift?"
Mirabel: Well My little friend I don't need a gift cause the truth is I am just as special as the rest of my family".
"Damm right She is !!" Camilo exclaimed
Cecila: "Maybe your gift is being in denial".
Isabela: " Who wants more pink".
Luisa: "Alright guys where do I drop the wagon ".
Pepa: "I made a rainbow ".
Both Families tried not to laugh but were unsuccessful. Pepa ended raining all over the theatre covering the families in water soaking wet.
Mirabel then went inside Casita and hoisted the basket in her arms.
Mirabel: "Excuse me!!"
Abuela Alma: "Luisa the piano goes upstairs ".
Luisa : "On it Oh careful Sis".
"Sorry about that Mira I didn't mean to". Luisa apologises
"Estoy bien". She smiled
Pepa: My baby's night has to be perfect, and if it's not perfect then people are going to be coming".
Felix: "Pepi Your tornadring the flowers , the flowers".
"Pepa Mi Mija it's ok sweetheart it's okay if it isn't perfect I am sure they'll understand, you're a great Mamá and I know you mean well". Pedro explains

Isabela: "Did someone say flowers".
Isabela rolled her eyes at her old self.
Mirabel stood there unamused and not interested at all.
Townsperson : "Isabela".

Isabela rolled her eyes at her past self and the way she acted.
Isabela: "A little sisterly advice if you weren't always trying so hard you wouldn't be in the way".
"Isabela Maria Madrigal I would I have hoped i taught you to be nicer to your sister that is not okay". Julieta scolds
"Lo siento Mamá ". Isabela apologised
"Lo siento Mira I didn't mean to I just got so wrapped up". Isabela looks towards Mirabel

Mirabel: "Actually Isa this is called helping and I am not in the way you are-" Mirabel bumped into a post
Both families laughed at Mirabel being clumsy. Miguel let out a little laugh and mumbled the word 'cute' under his breath.
Héctor heard it and smiled.
"You won't stop will you". Héctor laughed
" Your just gonna keep smiling that smile aren't you?" Miguel asked
Héctor just nodded.
Mirabel enters Enters the kitchen carrying the weighted basket in her hands. Then reaches the counters and puts it down.
Julieta:"Woah are you okay Mi vida you don't have to overdo it".
Mirabel:" I know Mamá I just want to my part like the rest of the family ".
Pedro smiled at how hard his niña was trying so hard to help the family out even if she doesn't have a gift.
Augustin:"She's right Amor When me and your Tio Felix married into the family surrounded by the exceptional it was easy to feel unceptional ".
Mirabel:" Bee stings".
Julieta: " Ay Augustin ".
"Amigo you really need to be be more careful ". Héctor shock his head
"And I think the word your looking for is unexceptional papá ". Isabela laughed

Mirabel: " I got to put out the stuff the house isn't gonna decorate itself".
Casita then lifted her flags to show that she Can decorate Herself.

The family looked saddened at that showing that Mira was trying her hardest to help.
Julieta: "Corazón remember –"
Augustin : " Yeah remember-"
Julieta: " you have nothing to prove".
Augustin: " Nothing to prove".
Mirabel:" Mhm ".
"Really Hermano I don't think that was helping her good try though ". Felix said
The next scene shows Mirabel putting down candles and little decorations she made herself and full of detail.
Abuela Alma : "One Hour!"
Mirabel Accidentally knocked over the candles and set fire to the beautiful decorations she made.
"Aww that's a shame they looked so beautiful Mija do you think you could remake them?" Imelda asked
"Really?" Mirabel was surprised
"Si they are beautiful ". Héctor added
Abuela Alma : "Maybe you should leave the decorations to someone else".
Mirabel: "Actually I made these for you, oh-"
Abuela Alma: " I know you want to help, But tonight must go perfectly the whole town relies on our family on our gifts So the best way for some of us to help is to step aside, let the rest of the family do what they do best okay?"
Mirabel : "Mhm".
Abuela Alma :"Pepa You have a cloud".
Pepa: " I know Mamá but can't find Antonio what do you want from me!!"
"Mamá I can't believe you, I left to protect her and here I thought you had the decency to treat her normally, But instead she's treated like garbage so what if it doesn't go perfectly at least Antonio will have the people he loves!!" Bruno yelled
Pedro shook his head in disappointment as he couldn't believe his wife had done this, especially to his baby granddaughter.
"It's fine Tio besides I made something special for Antonio, it's not like she didn't love me she just didn't want me in the way Apparently she thinks I am jinx otherwise ". Mirabel spoke with a shaking voice
Socorro went and hugged her tightly and told that she was special and proving she didn't need a gift along with Antonio who sat on her lap and gave her the tightest hug. Then came Imelda and Héctor they said if she ever needed a break they would be there for her.
"No child should be treated like that señora especially if it's your granddaughter trust me I have learned the hard way and I almost lost someone Love because of it". Imelda hugged Mirabel and then went back to her seat.
Julieta: "Mamá please be nice to Mirabel okay you know tonight will be hard for her".
Abuela Alma: " If the gift ceremony doesn't go well this time tonight will be hard for us all".
"Mamá she can hear you she's not deaf". Pepa pointed out
"Señora it doesn't help if she can hear you it just makes it worse , your basically saying she isn't doing enough because she doesn't have a gift". Miguel said
"Well I can tell you that's not what I see not in the slightest, I see a young woman who's asking and ready for adventure as well as loving her family endlessly even after all that they have done". Miguel continued Mirabel was blushing at his kind words.
Mirabel shut the door to the Nursery with her face frowning and saddened. She let out a sigh of sadness.
" REALLY MAMÁ SHE'S STILL IN THE NURSERY SHE'S 15 I CANT BELIEVE THIS, THAT'S IT WE ARE GETTING YOU A NEW ROOM". Bruno yelled
"I agree a young lady shouldn't be in the nursery she should have her own space ". Héctor nodded
Mirabel than sat down on the bed and opened a low drawer and took an Embroidered gift box.
Mirabel: " Everyone's looking for you".
Mirabel: " This present will self distrust if you don't take it".
"Mira who are you talking to?" Socorro asked
"You'll see". Mirabel winks
Mirabel: In three, two ,one oh –"
Mirabel crawls under the bed to where Antonio was hiding.
Mirabel: " Nervous, you have nothing to worry about you are gonna open that door and get your gift and it's going to be the coolest ever I know it ".
Antonio : " What if doesn't work?"
Mirabel: "Well in that impossible scenario you stay here nursery with me forever I get you all to myself".
The families laughed at the sweet scene.
Antonio: "I wish you could have a door".
"I agree sonbrino". Bruno whispers to him
Mirabel: "You don't have to worry about me, because I have an amazing house, An Amazing Family and an amazing you And seeing you get your special gift and your door is gonna make me way more happier than anything".
She shifted the box towards Antonio and made a kissing face with her lips. Antonio then opened the box and inside was a stuffed jaguar that she made and she smiled Antonio was surprised.
"You made that!!" Socorro yelled
"Si ". Mirabel replied
"I have it with me if you want to see it". Antonio said
"Yes please". She smiled
Antonio then took the stuffed jaguar out and showed to Socorro she smiled at the Amazing details and colours.
"Mija how long did that take?" Pepa asked
"4 weeks". Mirabel replies
"Wow". Miguel breathes
Mirabel: " I made this so that when you move into your cool room , you would always have something special to snuggle with ".
Mirabel and Antonio then leaned their heads together as a symbol of love that they share.
"I didn't know you were that close to him". Felix questions
"Of course Tio , I Love Antonio more than anything and I am glad and grateful to be his Prima ". Mirabel smirked
At that Antonio snuggles close and jumps onto her lap.
Then Casita shifted a clock to show that it was time for the ceremony to start. Mirabel rolls her eyes at her antics.
Mirabel: " Alright Hombrecito you ready ".
Antonio then nodded confidently showing he was ready.
Mirabel : "Sorry I just gotta get one more squeeze ".
Antonio then giggles at Mira's hug and loves her more than anything.
Pepa smiled at the relationship as she couldn't thank her Sonbrina enough for all the love and support she has given. Meanwhile Imelda and Héctor were smiling beyond belief at the cuteness. Miguel laughed and smiled it kind of reminded him of his own relationship with his own sister.
Casita then rolled them out from under the bed telling them to hurry up.
Mirabel: "Alright, Alright were going".
Meanwhile the rest of the family and town was busing with excitement and guests were staring arrive for the awaited ceremony.

Meanwhile guests are entering the house taking their hats and coats, Isabela was dancing and growing flowers to make people happy Camilo was greeting guest and shapeshifting to reach some of their heights and Luisa was lifting donkeys into a barn.
Pretty soon the next scene was shown with Antonio and Mirabel coming down the back stairs behind the red curtains
Felix: " Ha Ha there you are".

Felix: " Pepi Amor you going to get him all wet". Felix showed her cloud away

"So you wear a white outfit for a new gift ceremony when you turn 5?" Héctor asked

Dolores: " Abuela says it's time".
Pepa: "we'll be waiting at your door".

Both families laughed at that and smiled.
The next shows Abuela standing at the top of the stairs and starting her Miracle speech.
Abuela Alma : " 50 years ago this candle blessed us with a miracle And help serve this beloved community tonight we come together once more as another steps into the light to make us proud".
Mirabel frowns as she remembered her Abuela making the same speech at her failed ceremony. She hides behind the curtains.
"Why aren't you with with us Mija?" Pepa asked
"I didn't want to be in the way and I thought it would be best". Mirabel said
"That's not okay, you should have been there with the family ". Pedro replies
The curtains then opened to reveal Antonio standing there in his little suit looking around and looking nervous as people clapped and cheered for him to come down. Casita tried her attempts to nudge him to walk down the aisle but we're unsuccessful. That is until Antonio put his hand out for Mirabel to walk with him.
Mirabel: "I can't ".
Antonio:" I need you".
The rest of the family looked on with sadness as they watched Mirabel step out and try to be brave for her primo.
"Thank you for doing this Mija, that was very brave of you". Pepa said
"It was nothing special ". Mirabel replied
"But it is, you are very brave for walking with Antonio ". Felix smiled
Mirabel came out from the curtains and held Antonio's hand. Meanwhile there were gasps and compliments coming from everywhere. Antonio held on tight to his cousins arm Mirabel gently nudged him forward.
Mirabel: " come on let's get you to your door".
So with that they walked up together, Meanwhile there were flashbacks playing of Mirabel 's ceremony, It showed people looking at her and her slowly walking up to the door. Placing her hands on the candle while Abuela was talking and giving a firm nod and Abuela standing aside.
"I can't watch". Mirabel replies
Imelda and Héctor went over and hugged her tightly.
Mirabel wipes her hands on her dress and touches the door knob but pretty soon the Door knob starts to disappear, she steps back and sadly watches as her door fade away then looks towards her abuela who shook and can't speak as the candle flickers it's light.
" i'm so sorry Mira". Antonio piped
" My love didn't deserve this ". Julieta whispered to herself
Both families looked on with sadness and grief and distain as they watched a little girl not get her gift meanwhile Mirabel was crying in her Tio shoulder she just couldn't handle the pain. Isabella grew flowers to cheer her up and Dolores went over and hugged her tight, Camilo just stood there speechless.
"I think it's time for a break don't you." Layla said
"Si we would appreciate it ". Bruno asked gently

The family have finished their break and calmed down but just in case things get too intense Miguel, Imelda and Héctor sat together with Mirabel and Bruno For comfort.
The movie then continued as Mirabel was bought back to the present and watched on the sidelines as her cousin was about to fulfil an age-old tradition And possibly get his gift. Alma did her speech Antonio then touched the candle then touched the door and to everyone's surprise he got his gift as his Door glowed brightly .
The next scene showed as Antonio had a toucan run on his arm and chat to him.
The bird chitted then look towards Antonio with encouraging eyes. Mirabel was very surprised and looks intrigued.
Antonio:"Uh Huh Uh Huh I understand you".
Both families watch Him with pleasure and excitement as they watch Antonio experience his gift again.
Antonio: " of course they can come". He giggles
Then the toucan calls for for his friends and bunch of capybara's ring tailed lemurs birds and other species of animal came and sat near Antonio and his door to show that he has gotten his gift. Alma sighed in relief.
Abuela Alma " we have a new gift".
People cheer and scream as fireworks went off congratulating Antonio for his new gift.
Then Antonio's door opens to reveal a jungle filled room with lots of animals and a big tree in the centre.
Cecila: " it's bigger on the inside ".
" you can say that again look at it it's massive". Héctor was shook
"Wow sonbrino seems like an amazing gift I mean talking to animals not Bad". Bruno added
"Gracias Tio ". Antonio thanked
" Wait does that mean Mirabel predicted Antonio's gift with that stuffed animal she gave him". Miguel points out
" come to think of it I guess she did". Felix piped
" come on guys you're exaggerating I just know that Antonio likes animals That's all". Mirabel brushed off
Antonio looked at the room with wonder for a little bit until a jaguar identical to the one Mirabel made for him came racing up and lifted him on his back.
Antonio : "You want to go where?!"
The jaguar looked at him with knowing eyes and sprinted across the room, Then dropped of his back and into the hammock bouncing up and down, while The family and towns people screamed and yelled and clapped. Then he landed on a slide and grabbed onto a snake then flung him up into the air the Jaguar jumped and caught him on his back and made a run for the waterfall before going back to his family.
Both families were too stunned to speak as They watch the amazement happen.
"That was fun!!" Antonio yelled
" I bet it was ". Miguel nodded
He was prepped with kisses by his mother and hugged by his father, Meanwhile the jaguar jumped on Augustin and purred up to him
Augustin: " Okay Alright ".
Abuela Alma : " We need a picture come everyone come come come, it's a great night it's a perfect night".
Mirabel was standing alone as the picture was taken all by herself and a sad look on her face
