Miguel was teaching his sister some extra dance moves for tonight's dance in the plaza when he was transported with his sister to a movie theatre with cozy blankets and cushions and some food and snacks. Imelda and Héctor were transported as well.
"Where are we?" Coco piped
"Somewhere , this looks oddly familiar ". Miguel replied
"You can say that again ". Héctor said
"Papà Héctor!!" The kids screamed
Héctor hugged them tight and laughed happy that they were safe. Imelda smiled as she looked around the place.
"Mijo are you sure your not cursed again?" Imelda asked
"Absolutely sure". He responded
Just then a flash of golden light appears and fairy like figure steps into the room.
"Who are you?" Héctor asked
""Please calm down Señor I mean no harm and I will explain once the rest get here now please take your seats". The fairy explains
They took their seats and waited for the rest to arrive. Coco grabbed some popcorn and a drink while Imelda and Héctor split some M'M's . Miguel got a drink of his own and sat down next to Coco who happily giggled.
"Oh my apologies I almost forgot". The fairy snapped her fingers and Mamá Coco showed up.
"Where am I?" Coco looked towards the fairy
"Mija I am so glad you're ok". Héctor came running up and hugged her tight
"Me? I am more worried about you and Mamá you disappeared on us". Coco hugged back.
"Mamá Coco!!" Miguel screamed
"Miguelito?" Coco questioned
She ran up and hugged him tightly and kissed his face with lots of fast kisses. Then she looked towards little Coco and hugged her and smothered her with kisses .
"Mamá Coco !!" Little Socorro giggles
Both Miguel and Héctor puts hands over their chest where their hearts were (or at least their phantom hearts.)
Meanwhile Bruno and Mirabel were helping Isabela make juice for towns summer festival. Then in the blink of an eye they were transported to the theatre.
"Where am I and what's going on Isa , Tio Bruno where are you?" Mirabel yelled
Bruno then appeared.
"Mira, Mariposa there you are you disappeared for a second ". Bruno embraced Mirabel tightly
"Where are we?" Bruno questioned
"You are here because you have something to see, don't worry I mean no harm. Let's just say you are going to meet and make some knew friends". The fairy explains
"How do we know your not trying to kidnap and hurt us". Bruno asked
"Because My dear Bruno look around do you really think this is the place I'd kidnap you, Really think outside the box here". The fairy shakes it off
"It could be some evil lair". Bruno replied
"Huh top draw your acting skills deserve an Oscar ". The fairy clapped
"Oh I almost forgot ". The fairy clicked her fingers
Alma and Pedro showed up.
"Abuela , Abuelo!!" Mirabel went and hugged them both
"Mira, sweetheart what you doing here?" Alma asked
"Some fairy wants to show us something ". The seventeen year old replied
"Mamá!!" Bruno screeched
"Brunito I am glad your okay darling now can anyone tell us where we are?" Alma asked
"I am sure they will tell us in time Mi Amor ". Pedro said
"Papà !!" Bruno screamed
"Hola Mijo, Ay look at you all grown up". Pedro replied
"Not That much I am shorter then Pepa and Julie combined ". Bruno laughed
"Abuelo!!" Mirabel looked stunned
"Oh Mira darling Mi Mariposa look at you so beautiful just like Her Mamá ". Pedro embraced his granddaughter
"I wouldn't say that, Isabela and Luisa are more prettier than me". She blushed
"Oh Mira darling even after all these years you still don't get it, beauty can come in many different ways your beautiful both inside and out you just have to see it ". He looked into eyes
"Gracias ". Mirabel blushed
"I hate to break the family reunion but we have got to get on with the show, come let us meet your new friends ". The fairy gestured
So the fairy led them to Where Miguel and his family were sitting down.
"I'll let you get acquainted before we start". The fairy disappears
Miguel and Coco turn there heads in time and so do Imelda and Héctor.
"Hola". Bruno waved
"Hola". They replied and waved back
"Excuse us Señor but who are you?" Mamá Coco asked
"I am Bruno Madrigal and you are?" He continued on
"Socorro Rivera but you can call me Coco ". She replied
"Well it's lovely to meet you Señora ". He replied
"Likewise ". She nodded
Bruno then introduced himself to the rest of the Rivera's and so did Alma and Pedro. They Rivera's were quick to give smiles and handshakes.
"Oh and who is the lovely señorita?" Héctor asked
" I am Mirabel Madrigal please to meet you Señor ". Mirabel blushed
" I am Héctor it's lovely to meet you too". Héctor shock Mirabel's hand
Mirabel then went around to Mamá Coco and Imelda and gave them compliments and handshakes. But when she went around to Miguel and Little Socorro they stopped .
"Hola I'm Mirabel it's nice to meet you". She waved a little at Socorro
"Mucho gusto Mirabel you're really beautiful ". Socorro said
"Why thank you no ones ever called me that before ". Mirabel blushed
"And you must be?" Mirabel asked
"Socorro but you can call me Coco I have the same name as my Mamá Coco". Socorro smiled
"Oh I see, Well it's lovely to meet you". Mirabel smiled
"And you Señor?" Mirabel asked
"Miguel Rivera". Miguel nodded
"Well it's lovely to meet you". Mirabel laughed
"Buena now that we have all got acquainted I guess it's time to introduce myself and explain why you're here". The fairy appeared
"My name is Layla, I brought you'll here to react to snippets of your past . So please feel free to grab some snacks and take your seats I am also giving you a reminder that you may pause the movies at any time but do not abuse this power". Layla explains
"Excuse me Señora what is that big black thing?" Bruno asked
"That my dear is a Television where you will react to your past". Layla answers
"Oh". Bruno replied
"If you have any more questions i'll be right here please don't hesitate to ask". Layla said
So with that said They grab snacks and the first movie started....
